In my opinion this means that on the Rentberry you won't be able to exchange eth/fiat/btc for berry, also they're going to make their erc20 compliant to regulatory agencies like the SEC

Really confused right now. Do you mean rentberries bought through presale and ICOs can only be used as internal tokens for Rentberry Platform and wouldn't hit exchange like Bittrex? While I am aware that trading in etherdelta of erc20 tokens are possible, their value rises usually when there are news or potential of hitting a trading exchange. This will make it unattractive as an investment.

The paragraph quoted means that the tokens cannot be used on other platforms for example in Civic/Paragon/etc or some other ICOs and exchanged there for some services. In general, you can store them on a platform. And you can also use any wallets that support ERC-20.
