It's reasonable to say that users dealing with him would be at risk, at the very least. If this one isn't within the guidelines, nothing is. Roll Eyes

I don't want to be the party stopper, and believe me, I want to see the scammers flagged once again, just make sure you do it right / valid.
I've read this and, while I'd like to see it widened (under certain limits/rules), currently it's a big "hmmm"...
It's just dumb. Anyone who was scammed, e.g. by an exchange has no direct contract and the third option can never be used. Also if no victim speaks out / creates a flag = no scam occurred. Astounding logic. Look at this request: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.51440061. Nobody who got scammed by YoBit as a exchange user can rightfully make this flag.

Support this (weakest-flag type): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=47.

You failed. The list of opposers  will grow

How about someone who is advertising to sell bitcointalk accounts on a locked thread. Do they also apply in this case?
Lemme look for the link of some account seller i have just seen
If I understood correctly, you can only give him the first type of flag "Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money" - which is only shown to guests/newbies.

The other 2 cases are only valid if you are a victim of OP (scammed, deceived, etc). If he "violated a casual or implied agreement with me, resulting in damages" or "violated a written contract with me, resulting in damages".

Assuming you haven't been scammed, you can use the Newbie warning Flag for those:

TradeFortress flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=58

I have created a flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=58

I planned on creating a new scam accusation but I found an open topic that had my quote in the OP, which I have used as a reference: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-accusation-tradefortress-inputsio-theymos-326879

Here is a post from my previously hacked account (couldn't quote it since it was posted in a locked thread):

That address leads to the inputs.io wallet, proving that I actually had funds stored there/lost money: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/Inputs.io?from_address=1LH3aGsw5BzhPwbSANgfCnUXoS7XkK8fQM

I cannot recall the exact amount I had stored there. I contacted TF about a refund but I have never received a reply.

It's not me who you have to argue with. I wrote from start that "I'd like to see it widened (under certain limits/rules)". What I meant was exactly that under certain limits/rules some others should be able to also add flags.
I added the "rule" into discussion for 2 reasons:
1. Avoid (for now!) doing work that could be invalidated.
2. Discuss (with Theymos?) for better rules.

That's the part under "conditions apply". It has some strong limitations, but I assume theymos created those to restrict the use of Flags. It makes red trust a bit less strong, and the stronger Flag shouldn't be used for everything.

In between all his red trust, he Repaid another 0.2 BTC no collateral loan. Therefore, I can't Support this Flag (but I won't Oppose it either).

Just to confirm, you are not allowed to create a contract violation flag unless you were personally harmed, correct?

Correct.

Theymos introduced Trust flags, which can be created by anyone (conditions apply!), but need support from at least 1 or 3 DT-members.

It looks like this:

How
Before creating a flag, please create a topic in Scam Accusations to use as Reference link. It can't be self-moderated, and it can't be locked.
I've seen many Flags that point to a generic topic, which makes it much more work to check the evidence. Stick to the facts, and keep it as short as possible without leaving things out.

If your Flag doesn't have enough support, feel free to post it here.
To anyone: please check the reference topic before deciding to Support or Oppose the flag. When in doubt, don't do anything.

Trust Flag viewer
See LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] for details, or go to http://loyce.club/trust/flags/?C=M;O=D directly for the data. There's a very convenient "BBCode for Bitcointalk" link on top of the page, use the most recent one to post the Flag here.
You can now add comments to my Trust Flag viewer, see Post here to add comments to LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer.
