I don't know how you got that from what I wrote, but I don't believe we can do anything but stay on this earth, no matter what technology can do. I don't believe a thing NASA says, although I do find it funny an astronaut said on camera they still can't get past the Van Allen Belts and can only fly in earth orbit.

Why spread the curse of mankind across the space-lanes? It is only the curse that makes us want to spread the curse. Let's keep our wars here until we learn to stop warring.

Consider the Per Square Mile website (http://persquaremile.com/2012/08/08/if-the-worlds-population-lived-like/). The lower half of the page shows how much land we would need on earth to house and support a population of 7 billion.

Notice that if all 7 billion lived like we do in the United States, it would take more than 4 times the current land area of the earth to house and support everybody. But if all 7 billion lived like they do in Bangladesh, it would only take a small fraction of the earth for all the people to be supported.

If we focused our technology on living rather than on warring, we could comfortably house billions more. But we would have to get off the garbage and waste trip that we are on in the more modernized countries.

The picture of Mars that NASA paints is a hoax, the images are all fake and the rovers are still on Earth.

In fact it's your belief that we're on a globe that helps confine us to this one small section of the plane and keeps us from exploring beyond Antarctica.

Man Charged with Threatening to Overtake W.Va. State Capitol, Extra Security Added

"WOOD COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Wood County man has been charged with threats of terroristic acts after allegedly making a plan to take over the State Capitol in West Virginia.

The arrest has called for extra security measures to be taken at the State Capitol in Charleston Thursday, according to state officials.

According to the criminal complaint, Thomas Deegan, 39, of Mineral Wells, is a self proclaimed Sovereign Citizen, who made several conference calls this month, and stated his plan to take over the government.

During the calls, West Virginia State Police say Deegan solicited help in removing multiple West Virginia politicians from their offices in Charleston. He claimed that following their removal, their offices would be assumed by members of the Sovereign Citizen movement, and the officials would be charged with crimes like treason....."

The pope addressed Congress today and it seemed wrong to me. Our country was built to have a separation of church and state. So why is the congress getting a church message?

He mentioned 4 people in particular: Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Dorothy Day, and Thomas Merton.

In some ways, I found it incredibly weird he mentioned Lincoln, but this is a great video on the connection of Lincoln and the papacy.

(CNN)A stampede during one of the last rituals of the Hajj season -- the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca -- has killed more than 700 people and injured 800 others in Saudi Arabia.

The stampede occurred Thursday morning during the ritual known as "stoning the devil" in the tent city of Mina, about 2 miles from Mecca, Islam's holiest city.

Hundreds have been killed in past years during the same ceremony, and it comes only 13 days after a crane collapse killed more than 100 people at another major Islamic holy site, the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

"We have a stampede accident in Mina, and civil defense is dealing with it," said Brig. Gen. Mansour al-Turki, an Interior Ministry spokesman.

The incident is the deadliest disaster at Mina since 1990, when 1,426 people died.

Civil defense authorities said the latest death toll is 717, but the numbers have been climbing steadily. Officials deployed 4,000 workers, along with 220 ambulances and other vehicles, to Mina in response to the disaster.

In the ritual, crowds of pilgrims throw stones at three pillars in a re-enactment of when the Prophet Abraham stoned the devil and rejected his temptations, according to Muslim traditions.

In Thursday's stampede, pilgrims were walking toward the largest of the pillars when there was a sudden surge in the crowd about 9 a.m., causing a large number of people to fall, the state-run Saudi Press Agency said, citing civil defense officials.

Information on what led to the surge wasn't immediately available."

Lynn Cassidy has no other words to explain what happened to her 3-month-old daughter Ave. Ave was born with Down syndrome, eye problems and hearing complications. Most concerning were the two holes in her heart.

"It seems like it was really meant to happen," Lynn said. "And it's as close to a miracle as we'll ever see, I'm sure."

In Easter of 2014, the family planned a Rome trip to see Pope Francis in person during the canonization of John Paul II and John XXIII.

"It was raining," Lynn said. "We were told that if we stood on a barricade in St. Peter's Square, the metal fences in front, the Pope would come by in his 'Pope'-mobile."

The Cassidy family waited for hours at the barricade. When the motorcade turned into the square, Lynn's husband Scott held Ave up in the air.

"It was like the Lion King," Lynn said. "The secret service person, Johnny, stopped and took her from Scott and held her up to the Pope. The Pope asked my husband, 'How old is she? What's her name?' He told (the Pope) she has two holes in her heart. When we got home in May, we went back to the cardiologist for a check-up. One of the holes was completely closed and one was half the size."

A snapshot of the divine moment hangs on the family's wall. The Pope's hand over Ave's heart as he blessed the child. Lynn said the story may be incredible timing, but she believes it's divine intervention.

"I mean it's possible that it closes just over time," she said. "But when you see the picture that the professional photographer took, his hand is here and he's a servant of God."

Ave is happy and healthy at twenty months. She underwent two eye surgeries and also received two hearing aids. Her heart is healthy and her smile is contagious.

The pope is doing the first ever canonization (declaring a saint) in the US today.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

This is just a theory that came to me watching the canonization. According to one prophecy, the US was brought about to be a Christian nation and spread the Christian faith free from persecution from Catholics. If you believe the US to be the holy place, as it was where the new church would be free from persecution from Catholics, and then see the pope standing in the US and saying someone is now a saint, that could be taken as saying he has the ability to say who is a saint and who is not.

Many Christians would say all Christians are saints according to the bible. This is not something a man can say you are or are not.

Philippians 4:21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

Daniel 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

There were plenty of saints in the bible before Catholicism started declaring them. It's just a theory, I don't even know if I believe it would be the abomination of desolation as I believe the holy place may be the body (not the US) that holds the Holy Spirit.

I find it interesting, because the people on the conference call were talking about there being a loan that is coming due, and supposedly the US doesn't have enough money to pay it off, and of course they then suggested people will be killed off for the insurance money to pay it off. News: Service Suspended on Metro’s Green, Yellow Lines on Day Pope Arrives

"WASHINGTON — Metro service on the green and yellow lines is suspended on what is already a busy traffic day due to the arrival of Pope Francis.

Green line service is suspended between U Street and Fort Totten and all yellow line service begins and ends at Mt. Vernon Square. Metro says shuttles are in service.

Commuters leaving Nationals Park are advised to ride the green line and switch to the red line at Gallery Place if they need to get beyond U Street.

Metro says the issue is due to a third rail power outage and power crews are trying to troubleshoot the issue.

According to audio from a Metro train conductor, the outage occurred between the Columbia Heights and the Georgia Avenue stations.

D.C. firefighters evacuated the affected train, which stopped 100 feet away from the Georgia Avenue station, according to Metro Transit Police...."
