Ripple and litecoin are both successful companies in field of cryptocurrency. Their excellence in our industry is slowly growing up and build a strong foundation. I think they are both good alternative coins in the market since they have a lots of demands and supports in their services.
I think the price for Ripple will not grow very much. I think for a long term it's better to invest in ltc. But I would advise you to choose other coins.

I will choose Litecoin for investment because Litecoin has a good and excellent platform for long-term investments, Ripple is more suited for short-term investments. because the price is fast rising and fast down.
I dont hold any of this 2 coins but i think ripple got a high vulume in trading than litecoin, i know that litecoin is nice and old coin but ripple is the same old too and ripple have a biggest total supply.
These both coins are of good benefits but i think that ripple is better than Litecoin as it can be purchased for long term investment and the amount of output in term of money is good from it.

At the moment im holding only litecoin from these two, with the lightening network nd multiple updates coming, i think litecoin is on the way to create new highs so i will wait patiently.

My opinion, Ripple is cheap and good potential coin for investment. XRP has higher market cap compared to LTC and Both' s are good for investment. . So you can investment it and earn big profit.

Ripple just premined coin so only their developer can to create it. But in others fundamental both is good. I just more like mineable coin than premined.
