In simple terms hundreds of billions of dollars worth of what they claim to be the most advanced weapons (from Patriot and THAAD and Iron Dome to MIG29 and F16 and all sorts of tanks) are being destroyed very easily with primitive* drones that barely cost 10 grand each.

* Primitive by Iranian drone army standards since there are drones in use that are at least 12 generations ahead of Shahed-136. Otherwise by US and generally Western drone technology standards Shahed-136 is super advanced and they haven't even been capable of reproducing anything that comes close to these. Specially considering their unbelievable level of accuracy they have.

Even if Iran transferred the weapons to Russia, what is the big deal here? Ukraine has received hundreds of billions of USD worth of weapons from the NATO countries. So what is wrong in case some other nations send weapons to Russia? And as far as I know, these drones were produced in Russia. Iran had transferred the technology to mass-produce the Shahed-136 drones. They are produced in Russia (with further modifications) under the brand name Geran-2. The NATO nations are getting agitated because their multi million dollar drones can't compete against the Iranian drones, which are having a unit cost of less than $10,000.

Oh, I really missed this news. But according to the article, it is clear that these UAVs were transferred to Russia by Iran before the war, not during the war. This does not mean that Russia is being helped by Iran, that is incorrect. Assuming that before the war, Russia buys weapons from China or other countries, would we say China is providing war aid to Russia? Also, the countries of the European Union have imposed significant economic sanctions against Russia in response to its aggression in Ukraine, although they also hit the countries that imposed them. On November 23, the European Parliament by a majority of votes adopted a resolution recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Russia has certain objective differences with the United States. 

This is due both to the fact that both countries are nuclear powers, and to the fact that the United States began aggressive economic expansion in the natural gas market.  I do not consider these differences to be insurmountable contradictions, but nevertheless I am ready to admit that they exist. 

However, Russia has no disagreements with European countries.  In fact, European countries are Russia's customers (buyers of Russian goods). 

Therefore, I am not at all delighted with the news about the deindustrialization of Europe and the problems that arise for its citizens.

I always chuckle when I see the "freeze to death" arguments. I don't know who created this FUD, whether someone in the West or maybe it was indeed someone in Russia, but the propaganda machine in the West loved it so much that they ran with it to this day.

Nobody has frozen to death yet and when you walk in the streets you don't see frozen statue of people so everything must be fine.

Who cares about high inflation and recession and the nonstop money printing making it all worse;
Who cares that gas and energy price is already so much higher than last year;
Who cares that 30% of the economy declared insolvency in the first 3 months alone and that percentage has been rising ever since;
Who cares that majority of industries in Europe have shut down and migrated abroad (capital fleeing);
Who cares that hundreds of thousands of people lost their jobs when these industries shut down;
Who cares that energy giants like Uniper were annihilated in a couple of months and had to be absorbed into the government;
Who cares that the whole countries in the West are facing "cost of living crisis" since cost of everything has gone super high;
Who cares that a couple of months ago the European Fertilizer Industry declared an state of "full fledged crisis" leading to future food crisis;
Who cares that there are strikes and mass protests in every country in the West and their clashes with the police is creating lots of casualties!!!

The price in Europe is $868 per thousand cubic meters. And this week, probably, the price will continue to decline. The reason is that warm weather is expected for at least another week. And this is the end of the first month of winter.

In fact, Russia has lost its main lever of influence on the EU - limiting the supply of blue fuel. The aggressor is trying to provoke an increase in the number of refugees from Ukraine by shelling energy infrastructure facilities and trying to use winter as a weapon against the civilian population. However, this plan, too, is likely to fail devastatingly.

The problem with Western Media is that they show their propaganda and most people believe that. For example they would never show the 15 million people who marched in the annual government organized parade for student's day about 2 months ago around the time the riots ended (which is practically showing the majority support for the government). They just show the dozen rioting kids and then attach their hopes to the story.

The reason is far more complicated than a bunch of primitive drones that have been destroying their hundreds of billions of dollars of weapons. It is because Iran has been ruining all their colonization plans for the past 50 years all around the world. In West Asia alone US spent nearly $10 trillion in two decades and today they have nothing to show for it but a ruined economy and lots of body bags.

P.S. As I said before they will keep lying about Iran of supplying drones to Russia that eventually they will force Iran to start making a different decision. The tone of the government is already changing and soon will the cost of such accusations.

I personally participated in the dismantling of such devices (I am a citizen of Ukraine, I take part in some actions as a technical specialist). And believe me - there is clear evidence of the country at least assembling these apparatuses. This is not Russia. Moreover - in Russia, due to its technological backwardness, all attempts to create something similar - ended in failure. Well, plus 100% compliance of devices called "Geran" (Russian high-tech refinement - replacing the inscription on the body of the device ) to the appearance, and to all other available data, of the Shahed 136 model.
