I think the main focus of the SPL right now is to attract more attention from the football world and increase the quality of competition in the league itself. And we must also realize that there are only 4 clubs that are most actively hunting for top European players at the moment. The clubs are Al-ittihad, Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-hilal. And please also note that the four clubs are owned by the same owner. namely PIF Saudi Arabia (Public Investment Fund) which is also the owner of one of the clubs in the premier league, namely Newcastle.

I just found out that the four clubs are owned by the same company, it's no wonder the SPL looks like it's dominated by the same clubs. In addition, it turns out that Al-Ahli Saudi is currently in the second division of the saudi league, but they finished this season perfectly and next season they will return to the SPL again. Hopefully, SPL gets attention from the public, it is possible that it will also have an impact on the AFC Champions League and the clubs that are there.
But even so, for each club it is still held by each different club president. But with funding that is centered the same. one or two more seasons then I think SPL will be a League which will also be famous in Europe. Because even now European news media are also covering more and more of the Arab League on this one. Because there are more and more European star players joining Arab clubs. and this is indeed quite good news and makes the media that report about this matter more sought after at this time.

That is one of their goals, to increase awareness, but not only in Europe, even across all continents as much as possible. There is some centralized control going on in the SPL, but to be honest what would you even expect from Saudi Arabia? Apart from that I still wonder whether they want to develop their own international league in the future with prize money so high that no European club could refuse to participate. That could really threaten the status quo. Buying the players now isn't harmful, but launching a whole new league could be. Something that could be called "The Global League" and they have the money to do it.

it's true that with ronaldo playing in the arab league a lot has changed, the press started to talk a lot about the arab league, people started to follow the arab league games and now it's not just ronaldo's team that wants to have good players, the other teams are also making an effort to hire the best players, but I saw on tv in my country that neymar wants to return to barcelona but that for that to happen he would have to lower his salary a lot, but in my opinion neymar na he will go back to barcelona, ideally for neymar and go to play in saudi arabia because in europe he is always injured and involved in controversies, and he is the type of player that coaches get headaches
Ronaldo presence in the Arab league has significantly changed the way that people view and are interested in the league. More people are now watching games in the Arab league as a result of increased media coverage. No longer is Ronaldo team the only one vying for elite players other teams are also working to bolster their rosters. While there have been rumours that Neymar wants to return to Barcelona qit seems unlikely that he would be prepared to accept a pay cut that would make that happen. Given his injury history and contentious image in Europe it is possible that Neymar will investigate alternative choices including playing in Saudi Arabia.
Undoubtedly, Ronaldo presence in the Arab league has resulted in a number of beneficial developments. Due to his influence the league has attracted more media coverage and fans. Now that other organisations are encouraged to sign top players, healthy competition is promoted. Arab leagues have a chance to entice great players while Neymar's prospective return to Barcelona is questionable. The desire to bolster their lineup is indicated by the rumours that Ronaldo side is interested in Carvalho and Brozovic. A bright and profitable future for Arab teams depends on them continuing to develop a competitive league to draw in and develop talent as Messi departure to the United States offers up new opportunities.
Ronaldo's addition to the Arab league is a game-changer, spotlighting the league and enhancing its media magnetism. It's sparked a domino effect, with teams hunting top-tier players, upping the ante. Neymar's Barcelona status uncertainties may nudge star talent towards the Arab leagues. The news of Ronaldo's team courting Carvalho and Brozovic suggests a muscle-up mission. With Messi pivoting to the U.S, a surge of opportunities could hit Arab shores.

Three players from Chelsea, namely Édouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech and Kalidou Koulibaly, are all set to move to Saudi Arabia after passing their medical tests. While it's sad to see talented players leave, I'm happy that they're happy with the decision and will be going somewhere they'll be appreciated. From a business standpoint, this is a good move for Chelsea. Of course, there's concern that selling Koulibaly and Mendy may come back to haunt Chelsea, but sometimes change is necessary because this brings new talent in the squad.

however, the Saudi clubs have great power in their finances. and bringing European players to come there is not something difficult. even if it's only 1 or 2 seasons only. Ruben is no exception, they may feel that he is still too young to leave Europe and move to Saudi Arabia.
however, clubs from the Saudi Pro League seem keen to have European players coming there. although not as competitive as in the Premier League or La Liga. with them coming, it makes the Saudi Pro League even more attractive.
Yes there is no doubt about the power of their money, and they are also not half hearted in giving big salaries. How not, they give bigger money and it's very tempting . Reasonable, if Ruben was tempted because if he plays at there then he will get a lot of money, and of course besides longer playing time.
Since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, clubs in Saudi have received a lot of attention from the world community, especially from CR7 fans. So yes it seems they want more European players, to make the saudi league more attractive.

After Ronaldo, Benzema, and some other famous players in the world it seems Bernardo Silva is going to be the next target for the Arabian teams while, unlike these players, Bernardo Silva is not old enough yet but he still got offers from the Arabian team Al Hilal and PSg said they can't give him more than he can get in Arabian teams which can give more chance to Bernardo silva to play in Al Hilal in the next season.
Since last season actually Bernardo Silva want to leave Manchester City but Manchester City has decide to hold him but the decision is right because he can be important player for this team and bringing Manchester City to get treble winner this season and Silva has a contract until 2025 but this rumour was very hot lately especially Arabian teams had ambition want to bringing star players from europa and build up the reputation of Arabian league

Silva still 28 years old and if this summer he will leave Manchester City i think it's not difficult for him to gets new clubs and last time i have heard is some of european strong teams such as Barcelona and PSG were interested to him but Silva haven't decide his future yet and indeed everything possibly to happend and just like people said Arabian teams has money and they can tempted many players to playing at this league so probably if Silva want to find new challenge then most likely he will choose Al-Hilal as his new club

But one thing most young players don't understand is the resultant effect of leaving Europe football.  No matter the number of top European players moving to the SPL,  Europe football remains the best. Based on its standard, it adds faster to the lives of young players than the SPL which is restrictions and rules-based. Only but few will happily come to buy you Back in the SPL cuz they will feel u have a drop in worth/Value

I have been hearing this argument for quite some time now and I would like to disagree. For now, the European leagues (English Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, Eredivisie, Ligue 1, La Liga and Primeira Liga) remain as some of the top football leagues in the world. And that is definitely one of the reasons why younger players prefer to play in them. But you can't ignore the improvement made by non-European leagues such as the Saudi Professional League. My prediction is that within the next 5 years, SPL will attain the same quality as some of the top UEFA leagues.

Ronaldo participation in the Arab league leads to a number of advantageous developments. His influence has led to more media coverage and increased interest in the league among supporters. In turn this has prompted other groups to go for top players promoting healthy rivalry within the league. Given the uncertain chances of Neymar return to Barcelona Arab teams now have a rare opportunity to attract outstanding players. The rumours that Ronaldo team is interested in signing players like Carvalho and Brozovic add to the evidence that they want to improve their starting lineup. Arab teams set the way for a promising and lucrative future by continuing to build a competitive league that can draw and nurture talent especially when prospects open with Messi move to the United States.

Ruben Neves is only a star player in Wolves and he might not play well in big clubs. He is already 26-years old and he is less famous than Hulk who decided to leave Europe and played in Chinese league years ago. It is not wrong for his life if he leaves Europe and joins Saudi Professional League to receive x10 salary. If he stays in Europe, leaves Wolves and moves to a bigger club, he might face with a difficult future and even will have to spend his time on bench. So no better career and no improvement for his finance.

Ruben Neves is not a famous player like Haaland and other players but we know that even Barcelona is interested in buying it but Barcelona is constrained by financial problems this means that Ruben Neves already has a good level. In addition, Ruben might realize that there will be more European players joining the Saudi League so it is not too bad for his career progress, he is also young and has a chance in the next few years.

At the age of 26, of course, that is still a young age, and at an age that is still very productive like that, I think it is too soon to choose to play in the Saudi Professional League. But yes, if Rúben Neves chooses to get more playing time for a high fee, then playing in the Saudi Professional League is the right choice. After all, currently playing in the Saudi Professional League is also not bad, because, in the current transfer window, many great players can be confirmed to play in the Saudi Professional League next season.
He is young and has the liberty to change where he plays, even after joining Saudi Arabian professional football. That's his mentality and the mentality of some young players who find the decision of joining the league profitable.
But one thing most young players don't understand is the resultant effect of leaving Europe football.  No matter the number of top European players moving to the SPL,  Europe football remains the best. I think there is nothing wrong with Ruben Neves' decision because he is only on loan from Wolves and maybe he will be in the saudi league for another season before finally returning to the EPL. Sometimes at such a young age it will definitely be very tempting for any player if there is such a large salary offer and it is not surprising that Ruben Neves finally chose to go to the Saudi league.

Even though there were rumors related to Barcelona, Ruben Neves was reluctant to go to Camp Nou because of course there would be problems related to his salary later. For now let Ruben Neves pursue whatever he wants and for sure we will see him back with a better European team in the future.

If this news is true then Brozovic is the 2nd player who joined Al Nassr this season because previously Hakim Ziyech was included in the first negotiation
Since the last few weeks sports media has always made news about Al Nassr there are more top players on the list, these are the names that are rumored
Hakim Ziyech, Marcelo Brozovic, Wilfried Zaha, Sergio Ramos, Sergio Busquets. I estimate that at least 4 of these players will be included in the Al Nassr squad
Can you imagine if Al Nassr vs Al Ittihad next season? obviously this is like a fight in the Champions League which basically they have competed there.

It's not for busquets as he may consider to join in MLS club and play together with messi rather than try to go to the arabian league. There will be so many stars when the match between al nassr vs ittihad soon. We will see that benzema and kante against ronaldo, brozovic, etc. It's very good to see this league. I will be regularly watching this league as the more players that come to the league make me more interested with this league.
So many people are now also watching this league as well.

The league is in need of more number of popular players to make the league more popular. The government doesn't have any plans to compete against the major leagues. Based on the understanding, it is the government that had got some vision for the country and working on it. It have planned to make the country good in sports and the same could bring the economy up. Same as what we see here with football, the sports authorities too have tried to host the largest T20 cricket league.

Cristiano Ronaldo paved the way for other players to join the Saudi Arabian club. I'm not going to overdo it, but if Cristiano Ronaldo first accepts a proposal from Al Nassr, I don't think anyone else will do the same this season, in my opinion. Because most of the players who have now officially joined the Saudi Arabian club are still being contested by European clubs.
The AFC Champions League will definitely bring a lot of people to see it, and I think this is an advantage for other Asian clubs, or Asian players. The reason is that they were able to show their abilities in that event, and most likely many agents for European clubs are looking at it so that it can be a stage for them if they want to move to Europe.
Saudi Arabia pro league , will gain more sponsors and endorsements this season than any season, because the stars that are coming into the league already, this league is now competing with premier league and others in the transfer market, no doubt Ronaldo is the main reason the league is Popular  today, he gave room for other top stars from Europ to consider their transfer to the Saudi Arabia pro league.

The AFC champions league will also be interesting and competitive, the average players will be watch all over the world because of the present of international media in the game. its an added advantage to every players that will participate in the competition
Now the exposure of this league is definitely going to show, apart from anything with a few extra players it's definitely going to be something interesting especially now maybe it's not just Al Nassr that will be seen but a few other clubs with their new players coming from Europe to be worthy enough to witness.
Now for next season there are a few additions and of course the focus is probably highest on Benzema at the moment besides Kante, Ziyech, Mendy and even Koulibally being increasingly making great additions to the Arab League at the moment.

William Carvalho, Ruben Neves and Zaha are still in a state of rumours, but this does not rule out the possibility that this will also happen, although the focus is still on Al Nassr and Al Hilal.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
June 22, 2023, 02:29:01 PM
This season some new stars joined Saudi Pro League does anyone know what the total transaction value for all new players?  I estimate that this league will spend about $1 Billion until the last day of the transfer window, this value can be greater because so far around 20 top players are in negotiations.

There have been several player agreements that have joined the Saudi Professional League, indeed among others it is still in the negotiation stage to bring in more including several from other European teams who want to sell these players, the total amount spent on players to move to this league is still unknown said because it will continue to grow if their bid matches the players, it is not surprising that their money will never run out.

Because the transfer window is still long, it is likely that it will continue to grow, according to rumors that there are around 10 more players who are still in the negotiation stage, but we must know the final outcome of this transfer window.

It seems that their transfer value is bigger or higher than the title prize in their league, if that's the case then they really aim to increase the popularity of their league and country. Related to this, is it possible that they don't have financial fair play so that they don't have restrictions in recruiting players with very large nominal money. But yes, with major developments like this it is of course an attractive option for players who previously played in the European leagues. Because they can be recruited by a team in the Saudi Professional League at a very large fee, and of course it is very good for them financially before deciding to retire.
This is not too surprising actually because what is being paid attention to right now is prestige first. When I see this prize, I don't think it will have too big an impact on income.
Actually, the conditions are the same as the Champions League because the prize is very far away when compared to the salaries or transfers of players at several big clubs, but they still do that because there are indeed other things to look for prestige.
For the Saudi Professional League it is also almost the same because looking at the conditions the prize in the championship is only a fraction of the total expenditure, but there are other conditions where sponsorship and several other benefits in terms of merchandise etc. can be utilized by them.
The most important thing for the Saudi Professional League is to build their league to be known. I think this is the main goal being carried out for the invasion of European players into the Saudi Professional League at this time.

Well the Saudi teams are alluring quality players from Europe, though a chunk of these players are already well past their peak, but the truth remains that money is currently the only motivating factor for most of these players to move to Saudi, and i don't think that's how to develop a league, i'm afraid this method can only last for the short term.

The Saudi league must look for other ways to allure quality players, of course money is important, but only money wouldn't get you world class players who are at their peak, the development has to be organic if it would last long, this is why i am not too optimistic about the Saudi league becoming somewhat elite in many years to come.
Now the Saudi team is incessantly spending huge amounts of money on European players who are no longer at the top, the players will definitely think that they are not really needed in Europe because they will lose to young players who are just famous, so their choice is the league. Saudis with high enough salaries are a factor for them to want to play in the Sudi Professional League.

There are many articles as the president of UEFA (Aleksander Ceferin) made a lot of mistakes because in the transfer window, he only brought in old players and that would not last long, then Aleksander Ceferin also highlighted other things why not develop the talent of young players in his academy by investing there it would make the league more organic in helping find great players in its academy.

Maybe because there is already too much money, it is easier to buy seniors, even though there are only a few more seasons but they want to make the league more attractive in a fast way.

Actually Arob country’s are are well develop in economy. And recent years they are very interested in football. Huge money they are investing for football. Some days ago a Saudi Arabian clab wanted to hire world superstar Lionel Messi. And Again and again they trying to hire Benzema and Ronaldo. They are spending huge mony to hire football Superstar. I think it is very good news for Arabian football lovers. Arabian country’s are trying many ways to improve football. I think today or tomorrow Arob country’s will be Superpower of football. Because they have huge money and they want to spending that for well football.

I think it's not as simple as you say. yep, true, money can change whatever we want. moreover, Saudi has financial wealth from various sectors. to develop its football, currently Saudi is in a privatization project to develop football in the country there. Unfortunately, to become a superpower in the football industry, it's not enough just to bring in the top players. that means, local player resources must also improve the quality of their football.

by the way, if possible some clubs have their own football academies. or, it could be from an independent company that fosters young people to produce new talents and talents. thus, in the next 10-20 years, Saudi football will greatly improve. plus, mediocre clubs must be involved in competing for the progress of their football. in a way, competing to create their young talents and talents. at least, in this way the progress of the development of football in Saudi will go hand in hand.

Rúben Neves was a target of both Barcelona and Manchester United but it seems the deal with Barca has been stalled so the Portuguese midfielder wants a new challenge. The player was desperate to play in the champions league and at 26 he should have remained in Europe and pursued his dreams but he thinks the offer from the Saudi League is better for him. Saudi League is an emerging force in the international football league that might grow to become a competitor with other top leagues. I predicted that the move of Karim Benzema will motivate more players to move to this once-neglected league. Very soon the world might see a top-class football league in Asia because other countries like Japan, China, and others might also want to join in this success story that is happening in the Saudi league.

Agree, it's too early for Ruben to join the Saudi Pro League, because he still has a chance to be in a big event at Europa.
Although not bad, yes because currently the Saudi League have superstar players, also by playing there Ruben will get a large salary. But still it's not the right decision in my opinion, because Ruben in Saudi Pro League must strive to show good gameplay, if not then his career it might end badly and maybe can't return to Europa again.
however, the Saudi clubs have great power in their finances. and bringing European players to come there is not something difficult. even if it's only 1 or 2 seasons only. Ruben is no exception, they may feel that he is still too young to leave Europe and move to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi league must look for other ways to allure quality players, of course money is important, but only money wouldn't get you world class players who are at their peak, the development has to be organic if it would last long, this is why i am not too optimistic about the Saudi league becoming somewhat elite in many years to come.
