I am earning it for me and my family, I am single at a moment and never thought of saving it for my grand child as may be at that time bitcoin would be replaced by some other currency.
I'm saving some of my bitcoin earnings, yes, but I never thought that it would be for my grand child 
Well maybe because I'm too young, I don't even have a child yet. However, I'm saving it for my family's future, esp. for my parents (and maybe grand child belongs here in the future?). I believe that saving is a good idea, thinking and hoping that it will be worth using for in the future.

I have engraved private keys onto titanium plates for exactly this purpose. They are kept in a box with the other valuables, like a hoard of POGs, various tamagochi, Princess Di beanie baby, and some very rare and powerful Magic: The Gathering cards. Dang kids are gonna be floored when they find this box next to my partially decomposed earthly remains.
I think this is a good thing, knowing bitcoin is good for long-term investments so if saving bitcoin for our children and grandchildren the same as we save money in bank and got the interest continue to occur. I like your idea dude. maybe I can apply in my life: D
It could be a good idea to set aside a small amount for grandchildren. They may benefit from the gain in value more then we will or even our children will. I'm setting some aside anyway whether it's for me later or to pass on.
I don't have any descendants and have zero plans to squirt any out. However I do like the idea of holding some back to leave to my one thousand cats or pet extreme right wing organisation.

Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?
