Really if there is anyway to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

If crypto space is just like how binance managed IEO project in return for their own reputation altcoins will be skyrocketing right now because much more money will flow in, exchanges like binance is giving out trust investment that i really hope the entire altcoin space can do the same but its a shame scammers are robbing off the trust
As the technology is increasing and the the crypto market is also growing with the time so the scammers are also getting smarter with the time and yes they are scamming mostly the new bounty  hunters. they offer you some good profit of the their project that id fake and when some one send them the money or any other coin then they just venish in to thin air.

i have just recieved a message from a guy who said that he is the moderator of some exchange and said he can get me profit and will take 35% of the profit. Because i know it was fake i said not interested and he just vanish and cleared all his chats.

so be careful when you send your altcoin or money to anyone.

Scamers always have a way to take dirty action, but most of the old investors already understand what they have to do in investing or keeping money in a safe place. in any industry there are certainly scamers and we are required to always be vigilant with this.

the only reason the market is like this is because of manipulations happening, we can't blame it to the scammers, the reason they scam so many people is because of less information , being feed to them , and the number one , and we can't deny it is greed , yes greed is the reason there is scammers, there is no easy money , but because someone is weak when they heard 100x return they invest quickly without asking anything , we need to stop being too greedy and always research before getting in to a coin

We don't want to be cheated, but this is considered a decentralized market and this is a good condition for scammers to cheat many people.
Working here carries a lot of risks, we should really be wary of new ICO projects and carefully analyze them before investing in it.

This is what happens if there is no regulation and every developer can do whatever he wanted without answering to any regulatory body, ICO's are operating in trust, and they are free to break that trust for money and these scammers are getting away, without obligation to authorities.

Binance is a big savior for investors, without Binance there will be no crowdfunding anymore, investors feel safe and secure and Binance makes things easy, they do not have to do an assignment on looking for the right project to invest

Yes, scammers should be to be blamed because they really are the one of the reason why cryptocurrency mass adoption doesn't come. Government on taking cryptocurrency as new payment will be a big risk. Many of the warnings issued by various countries also note the opportunities that cryptocurrencies create for illegal activities, such as money laundering and terrorism.  Some of the countries surveyed go beyond simply warning the public and have expanded their laws on money laundering, counterterrorism, and organized crimes to include cryptocurrency markets, and require banks and other financial institutions that facilitate such markets to conduct all the due diligence requirements imposed under such laws.  For instance, Australia, Canada, and the Isle of Man recently enacted laws to bring cryptocurrency transactions and institutions that facilitate them under the ambit of money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws.

Scammers transverse every sector and institutions. Just that it's easier investing in a crypto project in global markets than investing in traditional system start-ups because of regulations. I know of some programmes from South America that are not crypto related that scammed investors millions of dollars. People can saty safe by investing in already established crypto projects and buying IEO from reputable exchange after studying the project team integrity.

Scammers will take advantage on the crypto space that has lack of regulation as they know they won't be punish with their scams.

This isn't a place for people who don't have enough knowledge with crypto, basic knowledge is not enough since you are still prone to getting scam, you have to study the market carefully to understand its risk and reward, of course this market is considered a high risk due to scammers and manipulators, so once we know the reality, it's up to us if we are still willing to gamble.

If there's still improvement in regulation, maybe it's time to shift the blame to the government.

No industry is free from scammers. Scams in different forms exist in real life too. You can get scammed trying to buy stuff using your credit card as well. Remember that the world survives with people fooling each other to get money in order to buy their daily bread. But it can only be prevented. There is no magic button that will remove all scam projects. You have to do your own research and use your judgement to decide what may be a scam and what may be a good pick.

It is also true that the lack of regulation makes the crypto sector a risky investment for any investor, in which case I would advice you to stop getting involved in crypto projects and buy only bitcoin for the long term investment.

yes scamers are always around us and they will never stop to commit project fraud as long as regulations / criminal acts on the crypto market are not implemented, maybe regulation is a good way to reduce scamers. and I think it's true that scamers are the main culprits to blame, and for users to be more selective before doing anything on the crypto market.

This SCAM issue is very annoying. I think we all agree on this. But we have to know that there is limited scope for this. We know that the market is also dominated by the decentralized structure. I am not sure how a way can be followed because in this case intervention, supervision and legal prevention are not possible.

What is done by Binance and several other exchange that host IEO is enough to help investors from frauds under the guise of launching new tokens, but it is not impossible that scammers will continue to try find loopholes in the IEO system so they can again deceive investors, which is why the investors must be keen to see every projec that is there.
Whenever there is an opportunity to get profit from the investment made, take the opportunity to reduce losses from others factors such as price manipulation from the ptoject owner.

Actually, existence of IEO has made it difficult for scammers to move, but reputation of each exchange becomes a major consideration for investors in investing in IEO. Perhaps Binance has a very good reputation now, therefore every IEO project launched on Binance is sold out quickly.

The problem is that it is very difficult for exchanges under Binance to become like Binance, they have certain limitations in their development. IEO project is trusted by investors through exchange platform it launches.

While this is indeed a great improvement from a free-for-all ICO market where scammers are directly competing with legit projects, IEOs regardless of the platforms they are using are never a guarantee of success. It does not automatically follow that since an IEO is launched on Binance's platform, it will achieve success in the future. Neither is it a guarantee that the project will deliver. Please be reminded that not all IEOs launched in Binance have positive ROIs.

Well it's true that not all IEOs that are launched on Binance will guarantee success. However, Binance has a reputation that is able to restore attractiveness of investors to re-invest, at least crowdfunding is not dead, successful or not, it is a matter of project itself and not binance. Binance provides services and guarantees to avoid scammer projects, not guarantees that project will succeed.

If you put it in a whole context, I think scammers are not the only one to blame, maybe we should also blame ourselves for not doing enough to prevent on not becoming a victim of these kinds of deceitful acts though I also think that these experiences will give us valuable lessons to make us more successful in this industry.
How can one be so careful and avoid scammers 100%? its not possible cos one way or the other you will fall victim to scam projects either by investing or by joining fake bounty projects campaigns, scammers are advancing everyday to get enough money on their table, no matter how smart you are you can't avoid scammers totally

Totally agree with you but sadly there are no ways to completely weed out scammers out of crypto-verse at least not right now. maybe in future, someone will develop something that will help us do that.

In any online investment, there will always scammers roaming around, especially in an industry that lacks regulation, we are just glad that we have Binance Launchpad, if not for IEO the cryptocurrency crowdfunding is long been dead, investors are ready to invest and like to be an early bird, but the regulation restricts them in finding the right project.
