Ofcourse uniform is mandatory because that is a school not a ramp for fashion walk bro!
School uniform should be in all school. If the uniform is simple and inexpensive, it provides an equalizer in the school. 
The real reason for uniforms is that you will wear a uniform in real life. If you work, you will wear a uniform. It may be a suit or polo shirt but you will wear one unless you work for yourself. If you work in an office or for most other places there is a dress code.

School uniform is a necessity since it is one's identification whether he/she belongs in that school or area. It is for one's safety so I guess there is no so much issue about it.
if I think the uniform is important, why? well because they will representing their schools and that would in a way teach them to be responsible with their actions. It also in a way give them a sense of belonging.

In my country school uniforms are mandatory from the basic to the secondary schools or as most people term it, the high schools. But in my opinion it's not really important at all and just a waste of money on the parents who are forced to buy them because it doesn't in no way improve the children on the academic level or has any advantages whatsoever.study? For me the school uniforms good to because the student are looking smart and looks beautiful.

I think it is necessary to use this school uniform to teach discipline to the child and identity as a student of one of the schools.Avoiding social inequality, wearing a uniform can reduce the gap between students from wealthy and inadequate families. So, of all social classes wear the same uniform. and with a school uniform a child can not skip school because they already have the identity of the uniform they wear.

I was always feeling so constrained while wearing those. No freedom at all, everything was so strict even jeans were forbidden. Freestyle, that's my opinion

School must have their own uniforms. Because School Uniforms give children a sense of unity with other students because they all are wearing the same clothes and representing the same school, It may also lower the cases of bullying within schools. In many cases kids are picked on because of the clothes they wear, how they look, or in some cases the materialistic belongings they may or may not have. If all students wear the same thing it would be very hard almost impossible to make fun of someone who is wearing the same thing as you. This is for me. Wearing school uniform allows students to get ready for school faster in the morning because they don't have to worry about what they have to wear.

I think school still need to prscribe uniforms especially for the elementary and secondary pupils. This will easily distinguished to what school they belong. It also saves casual clothes. For example in the remote areas where they only have one pair of clothes for going out. The rest are everyday clothes which are not approprite to be use in school. Many public schools in our country that provides unifors, bags and school supplies to students. So i think uniforms are no big deal. College in our country can wear uniforms and casual attire.
I wouldn't say it is needed to wear one, but wearing a school uniform makes you feel the pride of your school. I knew this because on my first year in college the school doesn't require us to wear uniforms. We're like just going to malls lol. The year after, I transferred to another school and they require wearing uniforms.

That's true, this is common in youth, during their high school days, they would spend their allowance on what would make them feel beautiful. What's more ridiculous about this is when you look at them after applying their make ups, they look more like a muffin sprinkled with cornstarch.
