I don't have a clue who or what your god is. For all I know, he is the same one as mine is, just seen from a different direction.

The point is, the devil attempted to believe God out of existence. He did it by starting with his own personal thought control. Then he subtly attempted to introduce it into the thinking of people (through Adam and Eve). Well, he can't stop this habit of his, even though God has shown him down through the ages, over and over, that he can't believe God out of existence, and he can't delude all the people all of the time into believing God out of existence.

He knows God exists, in spite of himself.

Just keep in mind, mine is greater, for he does not recognise the devil, for the maths proves they are one and the same. I like to think my god is also the devil, as are we.

The first proof for the existence of God is the existence of the universe and everything therein.

The universe is a big machine. It is a highly complex machine. No machine ever existed without a Machine Maker. Whatever or Whoever the Machine Maker is, He is greater by far than mankind. By definition of the word "god," the Machine Maker is God.

The second proof for the existence of God is, there is no pure random. Everything operates by cause and effect, action and reaction. A leaf blowing this way and that in the wind, does so according to the actions of wind molecules on it. The wind molecules act according to other wind molecules that are acting on them. All act according to the waves/particles of heat energy from the sun acting on them all.

Cause and effect goes all the way back to the beginning. Whatever was the Great First Cause was the only thing that had random in it. THAT random produced all the complexities of the universe that we see today, through the cause and effect, the action and reaction that followed.

The thing that people call random and probability is all based on the ignorance of the people. Nobody can follow all the actions of wind molecules on a leaf. People might be able to follow enough of the actions to make a good guess about how the leaf might move. This is the random that the people use. This is the only probability that exists. It is born of the ignorance of the people. There is no true, pure random.

The point is, whatever the Great First Cause is, be it the Big Bang, or be it the God of the Bible, or anything else, it is EXTREMELY God beyond anything we can envision God to be, simply because of the complexity it set up in the beginning, complexity that exists through cause and effect right down to the present.

The third proof for the existence of God lies in the fact that there are billions of people around the world who believe there is a god. All science exists outside of the minds of scientists. A little of it resides in scientific languages (math and writing and speaking) within the minds of scientists. Because of the existence in the minds, the evidence for God in the minds of the people is as valid as any other proof. Even many scientists believe that God exists.

The longer the earth has existed, the longer God has existed in the minds of the people. God is there. He can't be removed from the minds of the people. He might be dulled somewhat, but He can't be removed. He exists.

All right. I will accept that you are some kind of knowledgeable guru. But you aren't strong enough to be able to live forever. And it seems that you aren't knowledgeable enough to recognize the salvation that Jesus offers. So, it seems that your pride of your own knowledge has tricked you into heading for destruction, after all, even if it is a sorta humble way.

Dude, I read books, not just one. I have translated plutarch from ancient hellenic into english myself. I will tentatively accept that you know what you are talking about. But be careful. With great knowledge also comes pride, and that pride can become great, as well. Pride detracts from salvation of the soul, which keeps the body from being saved as well.

Actually, as you quite clearly state, it's the steak they are after, so would'nt it be easier to write, when cannibals tie a steak to a human who in turn is tied to a stake.. why not just eat the fuckin steak and leave the human who is still tied to the stake for puddin?

Nobody can do enough magic to save himself/herself from death. Jesus' focus wasn't on doing the miracles. His focus was on doing the one miracle that nobody else could do - saving from death for eternal life.

One need only look at the great mistake that Satan made when he became, possibly, the greatest miracle-doer of all time. He became proud and conceited, and ignored that only God could save him.

It doesn't take long for a person who can do miracles to fall into the same trap as Satan. All you have to do is look at how money corrupts, and money making doesn't even fall into the realm of miracles. Doing miracles is far worse.

This is why God condemns all who practice the magic arts. They might have success, but if they do, it will ultimately destroy them. And God wants EVERYONE to be saved. This why the focus needs to be on Jesus, and the ONE GREAT MIRACLE He did, the miracle of salvation.
