If you were invested heavy in alts but rather light in btc lets say 30% BTC / 70% alts you made a good profit in dollar.
BUT i have the feeling i wasted so much BTC to buy Alts and right now BTC has surpassed many of them by far.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?

Its based on your preference as a believer on crypto space, if you trust more Bitcoin over altcoin than your decision could be wrong and you can change some of alt to the bitcoin.
But if you are Bitcoin minimalist like me, having only little percentage of Bitcoin are a fine for me.

a crushing blow at this time bitcoin has experienced a great decline then altcoins will decline much more just look at this time the market has deteriorated all altcoins are falling faster and so on making the price lower bitcoin is the start of a disaster for altcoins that fall so fast that those who hold altcoins have more the big risk of losing money is greater when the market is down and it's very detrimental in contrast when bitcoin hits $60k all altcoins become very valuable.

This is a pretty tricky question. I think there is no need to rely too heavily on the dominance of bitcoin. I used to love this indicator, but over time I became disillusioned with it.

The fact is that it calculates strangely. The number of altcoins is growing all the time and this figure is hardly representative. Better to look at the chart of a specific altcoin to bitcoin. There is more accurate and clear information.

It's better not to sell anything yet.

You already have with your result .I think we have seen a good alt move in the recent past and you got enough profit from this time .If its not you don't need to be panicked right at the moment and don't sell your alt on low price .You didn't mentioned which coins you have invested if it is the top coin then really fine but if it is shitcoin then you have lost enough .However you still may go with btc hop you will have a great future .
but I firmly believe that the alt season still exists, even though at this point we have to admit that prices are going down and maybe some are lucky and some are not. but it's true what you said, don't sell when the price is correcting at the moment but still hold it because it is certain that altcoins will be able to bounce back because the end of the year is still long.

because the period of improvement will occur at the end of the year and there is still a very long chance and there is no need to worry about what is happening now. all will soon pass and altcoins will rise again along with bitcoin.
It's true right now it's better to be patient and hold on first,
we need to see the current market conditions are correcting and of course this is not the right time to sell,
we'll see later and hopefully everything can rise soon

If I were you, then I would stick with the assets you currently have. if you feel that the price of bitcoin is cheaper, then look for other ways to own it. however, altcoin prices also have an impact when bitcoin prices fall. So, I don't think it would be wise to sell it at such a low price. at the very least, sell it when you have your assets back.
Yeah maintain the currencies he has and just use some of his extra funds to invest with other coins .
he has already a good folio so why need bother to change the cryptos inside .
Theta has been on a strong swing, it has risen, it has recovered, but its trend is clearly bearish, the technical indices show that it may continue to fall, therefore, as I had previously written a previous post, I see this currency ideal to sell at Despite the fact that BTC is rising from price:

MACD too registered a bullish crossover, as it moved away from the signal line and above the histogram. The asset’s price could rise further moving forward. Buying pressure continued to overpower the selling pressure, as Relative Strength Index remained above the median line at the 57 mark. However, the indicator registered a decline in the past few hours.

I don't know if someone has sold or went short, but it is a very good option to do so.

sorry but How come that you made the same post in different dates? this was the first time i see this kind .

Thank you very much, instead of giving the opinion of the post what I did was to place the same quote, as for the answer was that at this moment if I went into position when I recommended it, and at first I was the market against me, but in the end I went out with positive balance, but I still do not change my position as for this currency, I do not know if someone else has done the same thing that I recommended, but because the recovery of BTC is not much that theta has actually uploaded .

Does this mean that you are generally saying that alt prices are low right now? Which alt coin is low in your opinion in specific? For me it looks like insane prices for almost all alt coins if you look at it from a realistic market perspective. Compare some of the alt coins to real companies producing products and see what their value is. Not that easy to say that alt coins are cheap right now.

Selling at a low price is of course not the right decision,
with moments like that we need to be patient and keep holding it I think it's much better,
but holding coins is not easy and self control is very important

if you have made a profit from altcoin that you invested, then I think it's okay if you swap your altcoin to BTC, because I think BTC is very good for a long-term investments, then of course it will definitely give you a big profit in the long term and investing in BTC is indeed safer than investing in altcoin, so in my opinion it is the right choice if you swap your altcoin with BTC.
True Bitcoin is the right choice for long-term investing,
because Bitcoin goes up every year and that's a good thing other than that Bitcoin is proven to be profitable,
other than that, investing in bitcoin is safer and I don't think the risk is as big as investing in altcoins

it seems that this is a difficult condition for altcoins, bitcoin dumping causes altcoins to also be dumped,
of course this is very scary because many traders panic sell, I am also like that, yes it's natural to panic,
if not sold then we can lose a lot, it's better sell rather than hold, and buy back when the price drops

As far as I know, this always happens. First, they buy BTC and sell altcoins, thereby increasing the price of BTC and its dominance, but when the dominance of BTC falls, then it makes sense to sell BTC and buy altcoins. It is very important for you to know exactly when the dominance of BTC will begin to rise in order to have time to buy BTC and capitalize on the growth of its price. Now, as far as I can see, the price of both BTC and altcoins has gone down, and to be honest, it is difficult to say whether there is any point in selling anything at all. I believe that it is better to wait for the moment until the market situation changes to a rise in cryptocurrency prices.

sell altcoins? all altcoins are in support, to be honest I'm still monitoring the altcoins I hold,
and until now my asset estimation has decreased a lot, it's sad to see prices continue to decline, it hurts a lot.
reportedly today will also be a bad day for cryptocurrencies,

That's fine for me.

I think the only improvement that you could try is whenever you get profit from altcoins, you can just store it into Bitcoin then let it be there. I think no matter how much you start in Bitcoin it's pretty much profit in these days. But still, I would recommend to store some of the profit or you have spare money left in your wallet to Bitcoin and HODL it.

Bitcoin has increased 15% today, but Altcoins still haven't increased, if seen from the analysis,
this is because the dominance of bitcoin is back up again, and above 43% today, of course this is what makes altcoins still not up,
if the dominance drops deeper then you can sell altcoins gradually, don't rush and keep stay calm

I am pretty hopeful for the altcoins also to rise back sooner and some of evergreen coins will be the ones which will bounce back quickly. The prices have fallen a lot for some of the coins and expecting once bitcoin rises a bit further some altcoins to lead the rally back.
Yes, to be precise, bitcoin has remained strong for the past 3 days. Altcoins are still standing still and are looking at fresh moves in the value of BTC. Of course, I think in this case, BTC will bullrun first, and the choice will be to keep BTC beat at strong defensive levels to create an advantage.
Altcoins will give bullish hope in case BTC moves above the corner.

Bitcoin's dominance chart looks very uncertain. Bounces in Bitcoin are possible, but in my opinion, a further decline in Bitcoin's dominance is more possible.
Indeed, if Bitcoin grows, it is likely that growth will be slow. And altcoins are likely to outpace it in growth. It is from these considerations that you should proceed in your trade.
