If you can see that your altcoins have value, have to sell them now. Don't wait that it drops again and you can no longer benefiting from it.
But, I don't urge you to invest in Bitcoin this time but rather to keep that money and wait for the good timing as the dump is possible to happen which gives us the way to buy more.

Think it wisely, think it more. Don't get disturbed about the rising trend of Bitcoin, don't get FOMO coz this has a negative result.
I would definitely do that thing once i do have the opportunity to sell and just minding on how many altcoin that i do have sitting on my wallet then if i do have the chance then there would
really be no second thoughts of holding.

Those are usually erc20 tokens which i know that it is totally shit on getting those but i do acquire those tokens wayback into those previous bounties in previous years that had past.

Only a not common chances or situations on where you can see these opportunities.Better not to miss it rather than on making some regrets later on.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?

I think deep down you know the answer to that question.

The price of altcoins in relation to bitcoin is not rising much, if you look at the ATH of all altcoins in relation to bitcoin you can see that altcoins are not even in the 50% of reaching their ATH in relation to bitcoin, and see that more than 3 years have passed while altcoins do not reach at least 50% of their ATH in relation to bitcoin, it is clear that the best option is to sell.

but there are exceptions. for example BNB and some altcoins have the potential to increase prices in relation to bitcoin

Choosing some potential altcoins for current investments would be profitable if looking at an increasingly strong market,
I think indeed the decision to save bitcoin and altcoins is the best investment  at the moment. 30% for bitcoin and 70%
for altcoins doesn't seem to matter. Maybe  if  bitcoin  stabilizes  will be a lot of  altcoin  pumping, this is an opportunity
to double your money.

For me, i don't think its the best way for you to sell the altcoins to buy BTC, for me, i think the best idea is to keep buying altcoins, gain profit, and repeat,
if you wanna gain fast profit, just do short-term trading, keep earning money,
and if you wanna buy BTC, just deposit with your money, not the other altcoins, because these day all of altcoins going hype and keep increasing, but still its your own choice, i hope that this suggestion will be useful. cheers

keep buying altcoins could be a good idea, by the way its easy to said but hard to do
because you should know how to choose the right altcoins to invest mate,
so, you will not drop your money to a kind of shitcoins,
the key is learn before earn and understand about how to manage the risk in crypto investments

This should be the correct point. People are always focusing to convert it into bitcoin while bitcoin could not give the same result as altcoin does consider it has valued so high compared with altcoins.
Just sell some to anticipate the dump and this will become a very wise decision.
We must prepare the strategy to face the bull and bear trend. We must not always get stuck into one strategy.
That will make us can follow the market's movement.

Hi guys,

a question which i had discussed with some of my friends before:

If you were invested heavy in alts but rather light in btc lets say 30% BTC / 70% alts you made a good profit in dollar.
BUT i have the feeling i wasted so much BTC to buy Alts and right now BTC has surpassed many of them by far.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?

Really interested in your thoughts!

Kind regards.

Selling alts without good volumes at trading sites, I think effective in order to divert with promising asset like btc or eth. There's still another ways for us to generate better profit than waiting longer for our tokens to increase a profitable value. Don't waste your effort for non reliable holdings, choose wisely.

That's the right attitude toward this business, choose the right coin to hold, if you feel the need of diverting your asset
simply follow your instinct.

Better to entrust your decision alone with your understanding, if you see that you'll be able to earn between selling or exchanging
your asset to BTC or ETH then go for it and see the outcome.

You are right, but I think every action to do have a better result in gaining high profit as long as you have the courage to study it's movement. There are right time and wrong time when to sell it just keep your eye on it. I believe that Altcoins have it's time to be on top base on the experience selling some of my Altcoins before which have good price now. Still both is good to do, just think and choose what's best.

selling altcoins for btc is good for now, but we don't have to sell 100% altcoins. I think now selling 50% and allocating it for bitcoin is better, because not all altcoins are bad look at ethereum, binance and litecoin should still be on the list that is owned for investment

usually i will sell my altcoins when hit my target price, by using technical analysis we know when the right time to sell mate
such as using RSI or others, so when the price hit overbought zone, i will sell it as soon as possible

Kind regards.

do not sell all your altcoins for bitcoin my friend
especially if you hold the right altcoin such as ethereum or bnb mate
because we can make profit by holding altcoin too
regards
There are really exceptions when it comes to holding or making out your portfolio on which you should really be knowing on which one should really be hold up and which ones should really be sell on.

It all matters in someones jurisdiction or decision making on selecting the coin which is really worth for long term aspects but it would be most ideal if people should really be focusing more on bitcoin or
simply allocates bigger portion or ratio in between those holdings.

Sell as long you could able to see some profits and hold if you do seem that it is worth.

I think it always depend on the altcoins price, if you hold an altcoin and the price of that altcoin is slowly moving then you can sell it and switch to bitcoin. But if the altcoin you are holding is fast moving with regards to its price then you better hold it. We can earn on this bull market if we know how to control emotion specially in this bull run season so be more extra careful on making decisions for good.

You need to think twice about the altcoin / bitcoin ratio. I think there should be more bitcoins at this stage, bitcoin is still in an uptrend, altcoins will benefit less, only when the DBTC drops will we begin to adjust the holding rate. And that is the time to uphold more altcoins.

I think it is important to think about this ratio though. People talk a lot about altcoins booming but that is in USD price and you know US dollar is going down more and more. Like the only real way to measure to me is against the king of crypto,,, which is why even doge is rising, breaking new ATH versus BTC!

30% Bitcoin and 70% Altcoins look really good to me. To get a lot of profit, you have to see how the market trend is going. If the bitcoin trend is dominating, you have to add a percentage to bitcoin. Try to understand chart movements in the crypto market, the easier it will be for you to develop the perfect investment strategy.

I often answer questions like this. but if indeed the alt you buy has a good value such as eth, bnb and alt which are ranked in the top 10 coins, for me, leave it be. because by trading alt that has a good value will give you the same profit to your self

At this stage you will have to hold more bitcoins if you cannot afford to choose high-value altcoins. I believe that if there is a reasonable proportion of property distribution, I am sure the profits it will bring will be a lot. But if it is not possible for a safer option than to hold bitcoin and wait for the season to watch BTCdom is trust, that is my opinion that might help you.

If the altcoins price can increase more than the price you bought, you can sell it and profit in bitcoin. But if the altcoin price in bitcoin does not increase, maybe you can still hold it for a while because I think the price of bitcoin will increase. The bitcoin dominance is still high, and people focus on the bitcoin pair usdt, but some try to search for profit from altcoin pair bitcoin. If you want to profit in bitcoin by altcoin pair bitcoin, you need to select the coin such as ethereum, bnb and litecoin because I see the price in bitcoin increases although it is for a small price.
