investing in bitcoin or altcoin is not really a problem, as long as both are potential. for altcoins that are of more concern because now altcoins have many variations and we must be able to choose altcoins well, lest we choose altcoins that are indicated as scam. this requires accurate analysis and prediction

Just as Altcoin can give you huge profits, it can also cause you huge losses unless you are careful enough to buy any Altcoin. There are huge amounts of altcoin coins in the crypto market so it is not an easy task to open the potential coin and invest in it. This will require the ability to research a project properly. And you don't have to worry too much about investing in Bitcoin, if you are thinking of investing in the long term, you can buy Bitcoin at any time.

Common! Selling alts during the wildest alt season ever?? Find an altcoin that operates in untapped niche and invest heavily!
As an example did you know that less than 1% of websites worldwide are protected against DDOS and it is a huge untapped niche - Disbalancer (https://disbalancer.com/ ) project is going to disrupt. If it is not a gem - idk. IDO starts very soon. Don't miss it
Take a look at their medium https://disbalancer.medium.com/

Diversification is the key and one need to hold good altcoins and not the ones which does not rises only and stuck at same levels or keep falling. So, knowing which to pick is also the key so that during the bull run these coins helps you make a good value for investment. Sell the ones which are not worth it and buy some tops altcoins.

Since the initial increase in bitcoin prices at the end of 2020, I sold almost half of the altcoins that I had been holding and indeed the decision I made at that time was quite reckless because the movement of bitcoin when the initial increase was not stable, but of course there was no result will  we got if we don't dare to take the risk and now my assets have even increased since I decided to sell altcoins with bitcoin pairs, even so I still hold several BNB and Eth altcoins as long-term assets.
I also have some BNB and ETH, both coins surpass the previous ATH and it's a great thing that happened to me. I think the wise decision that I make. I don't just want to stick with BTC but I also want to take some risk and put most of my assets in altcoins. I'm satisfied what I could put in BTC. It's safer to have both of BTC and altcoins. I think I have a future if I be able to buy when the price is still cheap rather than wait for a few years later.
Bitcoin is one of the most promising long-term assets like some altcoins which can indeed be an option to store for a long time, sometimes not everyone has the same opinion in determining the choices made, like me who prefers to save BNB for several reasons that I have considered, so with those of you who prefer BTC as your investment asset and now the dominance of bitcoin is indeed quite large but I think it will not be long and will be replaced by the altcoin season but whatever choice we make of course we expect profits to come to us.

I'm proud that I've bought ETH at a low price ($900+) last year. I hope it will go higher than my projected target which is 75% of my investment and then will invest in another altcoin on the market like YLD, Pundi X, and Blocknet (BLOCK)
Long-term, until next month or December is sounding very safe. So NO, I don't plan to sell it  Grin
Be very careful, I know that a lot of people are very happy with the results they are getting with altcoins and that's fine you should be happy about your good results but you should never invest in altcoins for the long term, you should always be ready to sell your coins and get out of it because we know that once this market begins to crash altcoins are going to crash way faster than bitcoin, this is not an opinion this is a fact and you should be ready for it.

You need  to set your target unless you are aiming for long term achievements and you really

trust the project that you are investing your money, There's always a good side and bad side

of this market, you need to invest with your knowledge to make a much better/clearer path

towards to your success journey around crypto industry.

If you were invested heavy in alts but rather light in btc lets say 30% BTC / 70% alts you made a good profit in dollar.
BUT i have the feeling i wasted so much BTC to buy Alts and right now BTC has surpassed many of them by far.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?
I agree that it is a personal choice, it is not a question to ask others because everyone will give their own answers. I have a friend who is on 100% bitcoin and keeps increasing his bitcoin number and never looks at any other coin, he made a good amount of profit during this period, his 20k waaaay back in the day turned into 300k+ dollars, and he is quite happy about it.

I have a friend who likes trading, he doesn't do daily, he just reads charts constantly and finds good coins that should go up, buys and waits until it goes to the price he estimates and sells when it reaches there, he made a good amount of money as well. I have also seen people who lost money both ways as well.

So long story short whatever you do, however you do it, if you know what you are doing and good at it, you are going to profit, if you fail you will fail with both of them.

Hi guys,

a question which i had discussed with some of my friends before:

If you were invested heavy in alts but rather light in btc lets say 30% BTC / 70% alts you made a good profit in dollar.
BUT i have the feeling i wasted so much BTC to buy Alts and right now BTC has surpassed many of them by far.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?

Really interested in your thoughts!

Kind regards.

do not only hold one cryptocurrency mate
i knew bitcoin is a the best crypto now, but its better for us to split our capital to reduce the risk in our investments mate
for example you hold about 30% in bitcoin, 40% in altcoins then another 30% you hold your money in fiat or Stable coins
Each of us have our own perception as we here in the world of crypto currency community we try to take our risk here even everything here is not stable and could end up a huge losses. Well, we don't want it to happen but in some point we just hoping that the end of the they we learn to contented the profit that we have.

At the moment, you just have to HODL. Why do you need these excess actions? Transactional fees are increased now

It's clear that bitcoin and altcoin ratio have changed significantly since last year. Bitcoin price is in good condition now, most probably it will increase more. Some altcoins price has also increased nicely during this period. And I think few many top alts have much potential to increase quicker than btc in near future. Maybe you aren't at loss in USD value with your crypto portfolio. So you should stay with the alts now and get back into btc while the ratio become closer like it was in the past. All things still depend on the altcoin that you have exchanged from btc.

The 30% altc that you choose if you are in a good altcoin I don't think is a problem, because these altcoins can still be used as a profit generator. but with one condition that you choose an altcoin that is in the top 10 coinmarketcap that you can make as an option of choice

What's wrong about people is that they are being confused on their decision because they want fast and huge profit on their investment. Which will certainly lead them to gain almost nothing. Moving to another kind of invesments, (let's say bitcoin to alts and vice versa) is way much more riskier most especially if it only adviced by those people you know who ain't that much familiar how the market moves, simply they just go to the flow of others. It is high risk, and you can loose much more by doing so. I prefer sticking to your current investment percentage because after all profit is profit, and it doesn't always need to be that big.
Unfortunately newbies do this all the time, they see and ad over the Internet stating they can make a fortune in a short amount of time and instead of using their common sense and thinking how is this even possible? They simple believe it and they want to obtain those profits not understanding that such a thing does in fact happens but only to a minority of the traders out there, and by the time they discover this it is too late and they have already lost most of their capital.
However, to make a lot of money, of course, requires a lot of processes and what is certain is that none of them are really instant,
I don't know what the newbie thought that they did that,
I hope they can really wake up
It is a very common occurrence, what happens is that newbies have no experience trading the markets and they do not know that achieving huge profits is not easy at all and this is because the market is deceptively simple, it seems very easy to just buy a coin when its price is low and then sell it when its price is very high, it doesn't seem as something that is that hard and yet this is probably one of the most difficult activities that they have ever tried to ever perform.

Stick up to the investment you already had than trying to sell-off your altcoin for Bitcoin. There's always a good tendency that altcoin will yield more profits than bitcoin when invested in coins that have many potentials.

A quick reminder in crypto investment: always try and invest with your spare money

Not gonna sell, instead, just try to sit a little calm and not expect too much of the crypto market. When you stop looking for things to be perfect, you can ride the tides. I believed I got a quality portfolio with real use-cases and great fundamentals... (ADA, ETH, ZIL, BLOCK)

Let's hope for the best!!
