Hi guys,

a question which i had discussed with some of my friends before:

If you were invested heavy in alts but rather light in btc lets say 30% BTC / 70% alts you made a good profit in dollar.
BUT i have the feeling i wasted so much BTC to buy Alts and right now BTC has surpassed many of them by far.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?

Really interested in your thoughts!

Kind regards.
Do you believe in it or not?
In general, the market is very excited in recent days and i think it will continue in the next time.
But remember the recent corrections of the market are also very large, if you do not have enough patience, you will soon be eliminated from this game by this market.

If you have a large fund investing in bitcoin is a very appropriate action right now, but it would be nice if your investment is divided between 30% -40% altcoins, of course the altcoins that have great potential, such as ETH, BNB and Litecoin, this way you  will get the most out of your investment in cryptocurrency, Because, in cryptocurrency unexpected things can happen at any time ....

I have a bad feeling if bitcoin falls, what XRP really will be, I was more optimistic when XRP turned back to the present when things are changing when I look at the current situation. Not sure, but if bitcoin plummets this time, it is very likely that XRP will lose its current position and will fall outside the top10 position.

You need to think twice about the altcoin / bitcoin ratio. I think there should be more bitcoins at this stage, bitcoin is still in an uptrend, altcoins will benefit less, only when the DBTC drops will we begin to adjust the holding rate. And that is the time to uphold more altcoins.

Gamble in Altcoin if you know how to deal with it , because alt investing is really hard and risky  imagine how many altcoin there is in market while Bitcoin is the only opponent .

But Bitcoin will always the Number 1 and best coin to invest for

If you are aiming to sell your altcoin for Bitcoin , make sure that you are willing to Stay longer because Bitcoin is mostly for HODL and not for day or short term trading .

Indeed, in my opinion, the percentage of investment in Bitcoin should be much higher, because investing in Bitcoin is less risky than investing
in altcoins. My advice is that 70% of the capital you have is invested in Bitcoin, then 30% can invest in altcoins. But choose altcoins that are
included in the top 10, so that you are more likely to get a profit. Because the top 10 altcoins, usually the price will go up following the Bitcoin price.
For example now it is very good investing in BNB, ETH and ADA. If currently 70% of your capital is in altcoins, my advice is to immediately move it
partial to Bitcoin. Because you can see the Bitcoin price continues to rise, even now it is at the price of $ 61k, very ineffective if investing a small
amount in Bitcoin.

well, we thought the same thing. So far, I also think that holding bitcoins might be better than altcoins. however, I feel that this applies to those who wish to invest more than 1 bitcoin. if on minimal money, I might prefer to keep the altcoins I currently have. it all depends on what decision you will make. However, if you choose eth or bnb as your preferred altcoin, I think you are on the right track and there is no need to sell that for bitcoin.

If you only hold Bitcoin, then you are missing big things in this market.
As you can see, not only Bitcoin enjoys the bull trend since most of good altcoins are also having a great party reaching their all time high, so if you think you made a bad decision buying altcoins, then I assume that you bought a shit altcoins and not the best one.

This is the common saying that you shouldnt really look on what your friends been doing or been suggesting since its your money then its on your own full
control when it comes to your investment.Dont mind neither you do go all in with alts or would simply go all in with btc or stick with it.It will vary on your
own preference and decision because you would surely regret if things turns out to be on opposite site and you would really be molding up that kind of
regret into ones self that you shouldnt have followed them on the first place. It is more worth on losing on your own ways or decisions
than on relying into others.

I think that splitting investments is absolutely correct, but the rate depends on the market situation and the individual.
If you think that the altcoins you are holding are not profitable for you, then you should sell that altcoin to either invest in better altcoins or invest in bitcoin.

What kind of alts are you holding? If its an establish one then stay still. Alts season will occur in time, keep in mind that investing on alts are profitable as well but sometimes it doesnt happen during btc bullrun, it has a season on its own.

Just hold your altcoins because its not a bad decision to allocate 70% for it. If you want to join the ride of btc IMO you need additional capital to buy, however not at this moment because the price is so expensive.

70% alts to 30% bitcoin is always waaaay to high.  I'd immediately sell and get on the right side of bitcoin in your portfolio.  It has always been better to be heavy bitcoin and light altcoins through history.  You are begging to miss out on opportunity with that weight.

Since then I only believed in bitcoin that's why my bitcoin occupies the biggest percentage on my portfolio for long-term hodling. I'm only hodling very few alt's for the long term. Though I'm trading many altcoins for the short term. My portfolio could look like this

55% bitcoin
20% Long term altcoin
25 % short term altcoin

Balancing your portfolio could give you profit but choosing your asset smartly is more efficient.

Having 30/70 on a portfolio isn't that bad if you picked the right altcoin you will hold. A good altcoin can give you more profit than bitcoin.

I dont think sell Altcoin to Bitcoin at this time as a good move.
Since if the bitcoin goin stable, the altcoin will have some rally. (BTC dominance now at resistance point)
But if you wont bet that thing, its not a bad move to take profit from the alt and save it in stablecoin.

Bitcoin is more stable profit or you can also say its pretty standard so you are quite sure that you'll earn the problem is how much, Bitcoin can truly give you profit regardless and the only thing why you should still invest in altcoins is that they have higher ratio in terms of profit but does not always benefits, if you're okay as being assured then getting most of your assets to Bitcoin is a better option but if you want more option with higher possibility with high risk you should consider focusing more in altcoins. Altcoins beats Bitcoin in terms of income once you handled market well.

Don’t jump on BTC while it’s recently touch all time-high. Bitcoin Dominance is slowly decreasing on daily timeframe which is very good for altcoin. Let’s wait for Bitcoin price price to sideways above 60k level and we might experience another mega altcoin season. It’s too late now to change investment to altcoin while the market cycle is almost over for bitcoin dominance. You might loss in USD if you chase now Bitcoin. Just Hodl.

there is something that must be exchanged, that 70% you should allocate to BTC, and the rest is altcoin. so the price reversal will be bigger. I remember that BTC is comfortable at the top and wants to continue to soar.
indeed dividing 70/30 is not wrong when it's your decision. It's just that market conditions are being dominated by BTC growth. so you should choose the appropriate part based on the market situation.
come back again, while it keeps you in the realm of profit, there's nothing to lose. For learning only, in the future, prioritize BTC and the rest please allocate it to altcoin.

I don't think that will become a very wise decision dude consider altcoin has a chance to get another bullrun after the bitcoin bullrun already done. Don't you try to learn from the old chart of crypto?
You should always remember the trend that is happening in the crypto and when altcoin will increase after bitcoin will be started to stabilize.
Bitcoin dominance is not so high and you should not feel worried about that dude.
And who said it's already done? just now Bitcoin already made its new ATH and slowly about to reach 60,000$.
it is clear we are not done yet and obviously every altcoin and Bitcoin pair will be suppressed because Bitcoin dominance is still high.

about your portfolio, if your alts are not underwater. I think you should try to sell some of them and increase your Bitcoin holding at least to 50% minimum
if we break 60,000$, I am sure we will see another volatility in the market.
