It will indeed be better if there is a law governing ICO which is one of the objectives so that investors who will be involved in Iico are more trustworthy to become investors of a particular project, last year many ico were stagnant or stuck on the road, with regulations on I hope that everything will go better and directed

I think there should be here regulations for ico's and bounty projects, because in the part of investors and bounty hunters they are opposite in ideas, bounty hunters now are waiting to receive their rewards and ita favorable for ico's and investora to not the prices to down since they think that bounty hunters just dump the price.

Many ICO cases that turned out to be a scam that made us have to learn, it was time for us to make strict regulations so investors would want to put their money in crypto, if there is no regulation, I am sure this year the market will also be red.

indeed a regulation is needed to minimize scammers. but have we ever thought of another impact? for example with the existence of regulation, the reward that we get will be reduced? Because of what? because when I get a regulation, the regulator must ask for a few percent of the funds obtained as a guarantee.

in your opinion, which one is more comfortable?

A regulation must be needed to audit all ICO projects. Already many investors and bounty hunters have suffered losses due to fraud in the ICO project. And if this rule exists, of course, that will help everyone. And there will be more investors who believe in the ICO.

ICOs should be regulated to make the ICO market more secure for investing. The other reason is that
institutional investors will enter the market only on a regulated market and that would give a huge boost
to crypto space. It does not mean that the market should be over regulated just to have a global solution
to make the market investor friendly.

Regulating ICO is like centralizing what is meant to be decentralized, which I think cannot happen.
Even if the government try to regulate cryptocurrency, it will not still totally work.
Whenever anyone want to invest in cryptocurrency, either ICO or already lusted coin,it is expedient that research is first done.
I think there should be a way in which whoever is coming newly into the crypto space, be trained on how to identify genuine project, alongside other rudiments.

I personally think cryptocurrency in general (not ICOs alone) needs to be regulated in order for it to move forward, because the rate of scam in crypto is very alarming which is scaring most investors away (because nobody wants to get scammed). So we need some regulations

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?

WIth the current crypto market situation and the presence of many scam ICOs, I think regulation would give a lot of help in minimizing ICO scams. Regulation of the market would somehow protect investors from totally losing their money from these bad elements in the market.

I am agree that ICOs should be regulated by government or reputable institution. I am believe if ICOs regulated and have a good punishment, developers team must be more responsible with their project and not creating a pump and dump token or coin. Regulation on ICOs will safe investor money

I think it will be difficult to realize easily, because crypto is not too much noticed by the government even most countries reject crypto because it can threaten their currency.

Well..yes it's a great idea and ICO's should be regulated but i don't see how because you can't control BTC or cryptocurrencies can't be controlled in general and another issue is the fact that there are so many projects on so many sites that i don't see how they could be verified.Anyway, i think that you can do you own researches about that project you want to enroll in and maybe that will help.

The question is as old as my life. Of course there are a lot of dependencies here, such as government interest and things like that. But we do not need to go beyond the white paper Satoshi. I finally understand that no regulation will help us.

I think yes. Because most of projects are run by people who have never had this kind of money, and they launch their $10 million ICO, and then they panic and often make a lot of mistakes.
It could be better if there will a group that would regulate the different ICO that are been launched and promoted in the bitcoin talk forum so that the investors which are interested to that ICO projects will not be a victim of scams, and members also will have their time in participating will not be wasted promoting scam ICOs, so I agree if the ICO should be regulated.

All this goes. Without ICO market regulation, that mess will be happening now! A huge amount of investors defrauded by scam projects, all this is very bad for the situation in the crypto world. People with great caution are now choosing projects and more and more people are abandoning cryptocurrency.

I think that ICO in any case should be regulated, at least by the community, because today there are no bodies that would punish developers who are deceiving people today and simply raising money.
Whether we like it or not ICO will be regulated soon, haven't you notice that the government is already starting to get involve in crypto, they want to be in control to protect people from scams. Also, the amount involved in crypto is big, the daily trading volume is already in billions so if they will not enter, they cannot monitor the money laundering activity which they believe some are using crypto to launder their money. That's just one of the purpose, I'm sure the taxation is also a big thing because they will be able to collect big money from us.

Icos must be regulated but not by goverment.
Self regulation is adream but it can be done. There are really good companies who can handle self regulating.
Personally i do not like goverment regulations at all

Regulation is certainly good, but how will projects continue to be developed, which will be put in a rigid framework?
