I think that the issue of ICO regulation will be resolved in the next 2 years. I hope that this will happen in 2019, but I think it is unlikely that we will be able to do it so quickly.

The Regulation of ICOs is very important because currently there are so many scam projects in the cryptospace and  this is not good for the development of crypto. If we have a regulating body which sees to the running of ICOs i am sure the team of projects would be authenticated and registered hence investors who invest into such projects would not be scammed as it is happening currently.

The regulation of ICO should begin those people who are responsible for the state of the crypto market. Vitaly Buterin should start the process of regulation in ethereum. The bad thing is that there is no Satoshi Nakamoto bitcoin. I am sure that he would propose the optimal solution for the ICO regulation process.

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?
Yes because many people use crypto right now. So i think in the future crypto will be the best asset investment and be digital currency. But is not easy for many country to make crypto legas, because the user is anonym, that's why many country not allowed cryprocurrency.

I think you are right talking about regulations providing security to investors and bounty hunters. I am one of those being cheated by new fake ICOs. I participate in bounty campaigns, and I started it since I joined cryptocurrency some two years ago. I have been deceived by many new fake ICOs by not giving me the rewards. Strict regulations should be in place to eliminate fake ICOs.

Of course, ICO needs to be regulated and controlled, otherwise investors will not come into the ICO industry, and projects will not collect enough funds to launch a project. Now a lot of the projector is causing losses to its investors due to the fact that there is no ICO regulation and the market is oversaturated with low-quality ICOs. It is difficult to choose a project for investment and it is easy to find a scam project.

ICOs regularisation would be a wise decision for everyone:

- investors will stop being scammed and also be protected from unrealistic projects
- ICO-based projects will get back from the good reputation lost for an entire year 2018.

Yes they should be regulated! Since the boom of bitcoin last 2018 many scam ICOs emerged and they did really hurt investors causing the whole bitcoin ecosystem to go down.

I know that will be hard for the government to do, all they have is AML and they do not have a governing body holding the data these ICOs hoard, but maybe make ourselves be more cautious. If you somehow found out that an ICO is smelling fishy and looks like a scam. A simple post on the forum will get attention and will make us study the ICO more.

Helping one another.

Most investors and social media platforms like Facebook are fed up with ICOs due to the frequent scam projects hitting the crypto market and all these stem from the unregulated nature of ICOs. Regulations will put checks on each ICO that intends to enter the crypto space and with that the issue with scam projects will be curbed.

Yes of course ICO's should be regulated because many investors are complaining about those projects that are not legit and really hard to find out if it's not a scam. And I think regulations will help many investors to make sure that all the projects that are being launched in the future will truly a legit ICO projects.

ICO projects needed to be regulated a few years ago. This would not lead to such a catastrophic increase in the level of fraud that we have now. In this activity, it is necessary to clearly stipulate the rights and obligations of the parties, but now the ICO teams do what they want, especially they abuse their rights in relation to bounty hunters. I hope that everything will change with the upcoming regulation of ICO projects.

There are many investors who are afraid to invest in the ICO because most of them are scam projects so this has created an opinion to regulate the ICO

If that really happens I'm sure this will only make it harder to invest because surely there will be more terms and conditions that must be approved by investors

Yes, having a body that will regulate the ICO through the organizations or company the launches the ICO is a good idea which will help reduce scam project, loses of valued investments and also enhance the wellbeing of crypto traders and users.
It will also make those ICO companies to sit and be readily sure they are good enough to embark on the ICO. And not just deceiving, cheating and wasting peoples time.
It's timely to regulate ICO because scams are everywhere and ICO type of fund raising is getting popular now.
With the regulation, we can expect that people will gain confidence in investing and they will be protected, this would lead to a good future for crypto so I hope there will be a set of regulation that is fair to investors and those who want to conduct an ICO.

ICO turnover should be able to have clear regulations because ICO was established for a place to collect funds from various investors in the world so that it is different from Bitcoin, if bitcoin does not have to be regulated. whereas ICO must have clear regulations because the main problem is that they are formed from fundraising.

This is a very good step that this regulation can be developed with the government. So far many people have committed ICO fraud because they can get money without having to work and so far there has been no punishment for them. So they do what they want because there is no punishment they receive. But if the government then takes over all this, regulations will definitely become tighter and the movement of fraudsters will also be limited.

Forming a body in charge of checking ICO, I think a very good idea. Because we can see that in 2018 there were many ICOs that were unclear or failed. So that this body is very good to be established so that the development of ICO is also getting better.
this special force could protect investors from many fake ico's.as we see many scam ico appear in cryptocurrency recently and offcourse it will investors affraid to participate in crypto.so we need regulation that organize ico.

I think ICO should be regulated in jurisdiction where there are capacity and manpower available for regulation. When I say capacity and manpower, I am referring to decentralised infrastructure that will work with decentralized project like ICO!
The capasity of the regulation to prevent the scam ico and to make sure if there will be no any intervention. Remember the governments have been putting very strict regulation and it has been creating so many limitation for icos.

What is the point of regulations?? scams will still happen and markets will still tends to deceive. The only benefit that can be there that newbie scammers will be filtered off.
