It depends on you, make sure that you first verify the airdrop if it is valid or not, by logging in to their website. Use your best judgment to find out if it's a scam or not. why don't you work for tokens or coins by participating in bounty programs and making lots of money? this is far more promising than airdrop.
Well, I do not think that is is a totally bad Idea to participate in airdrops. Yes, all the news about scam projects, and not getting paid, but there are still a few others that are genuine, and I think that people will still benefit ftom these ones, so don't give up yet on airdrops. Keep participating in as much as you can.
Now-a-days airdrops are not very worthy because maximum airdrops are scam or they are only created for obtaining users wallet information or their private keys information's. That's why i don't participate in airdrops anymore as i see them as a wastage of time.

Airdrop is one way to get coins for free. Following this airdrop is great for beginners and those who have a lot of time. I have followed the airdrop, and can get a good profit from it.
for myself, I still want to participate in the bounty campaign than in airdrop projects unless I can see that the airdrop project is good enough in the future. but to detect which airdrop projects that can be a good project, it will difficult to determine because so far, I don't see that the airdrops can increase the price in the higher price. so maybe I will stay to look at the other airdrop project and until I can find one or two, I will try to join in the airdrop project.
Instead of airdrops, it is better to choose several good bounties and participate in them. I think this will be more beneficial from such participation.
i joined so many airdrop long time ago. I think it was 8 9 months ago. airdrops were very popular these days. but i couldnt get any single benefit from any of them. so i stopped joining them. it is wasting time for me.

I think it's worthwhile to participate, but before making such a decision, you need to analyze the project and make sure that the token will be released to the exchange.
I personally don't believe that many airdrops today are worth the time, they are too saturated and very few projects that actually offer an airdrop turn out to be highly successful, hence making the airdrop actually worth anything. I have heard some success stories of people earning $1,000+ from an airdrop, but that was likely just an exception.
When i was new in cryptocurrency i alway's go for airdrop but i later found out that particpating only in airdrop is just a waist of time why because it don't pay much.
OMG, now there are so many airdrop scams and are you still trying to get shitcoin there? This is a very ridiculous choice if you have to continue to join Airdrop, it is better for you to do something more valuable like joining a bounty
Personally , I have never found any airdrop profitable. There are airdrops which are hardly worth few dollars and it surely does not deserve the time you put in it. Along with this a lot of airdrop projects are asking for KYC which in my opinion are not worth at all.

I am not suggest you to join and participation in the airdrop, because like you said that so many scam in the airdrop. In my opinion, join and participation in the airdrop just waste your time and effort, but you can't earn profits from join that because the token that you will have isn't valuable. Better you join in the bounty campaign that will give you chance to earn some profits.

I think that we would be doing ourselves some favour when we particiapate in airdrop programmes. Not only would we be getting some free tokens which can pass out as a few earnings, we will also be helping in the promotion of these ICOs, which in turn might lead to the development and growth of the cryptocurrency industry.
Well, if you don't take too much time , I think you can do in the future can and will be something worthwhile
