This "btc rising" panic selloff though
Typically, the price would increase as people can buy it from more exchanges.
what was the exchanges for siacoin, I just know poloniex where I trade and it is good to see that siacoin is now times 9 I think. I missed the train but still thankful that I took a profit from it. happy trading guys and hope that you will be rich by this coin.
For a lot of new people, btc is the door to invest in other cryptocoins, because there are coins that you can't buy in $ directly. Sia is one example, and I think is good and a great commitment with descentralized system.
But some good coins with low value are wrapped in btc/usd's rise.
Today 1SC (323 sat) is going to way to 0.01$ (≈ 0.00000505 btc).
But, for example, 1st of January 1SC = 23 sat and 0.01$ = 1325 sat (1btc = 755$).
Low value coins (in tens of sats) in other exchanges mean that there are more sites where to buy them, and it's great (http://sia.tech/get-siacoin/).
However, it's the last opportunity to increase a significant value this year if btc doesn't stop to rise. If btc is going to rise faster than these coins, we will need to buy a lot of coins with a micropayment, and I'm not sure if it's so good.
Maybe, all cryptocoins need independence to btc like a door to invest.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining well or my explanation has a lot of holes that I can't see.
However I'm very enthusiastic with Sia, I hope this project will continue like now. But unfortunately, all great projects are linked with money. I hope Sia team don't lose their illusion. Some people are looking at their project with more attention than their coin. But we need SC to use SiaTech. Great circle.

What would happen with the value when Sia gets added on Bittrex? Would it increase or decrease? Please ellaborate your answer. I don't have much experience with new coins being added to exchanges. I'm proud passenger of the train btw, thanks for this topic

The OP and I have long predicted this. This is nothing though. Wait until mid to late June for the real magic.
I cosign the concerns about Poloniex. I would feel much better if Bittrex also listed Sia.

I'm cautious because a lot of people are worried about that.
However, I think I have written something that could be misunderstood:
I write this in relation to:
1. XRP amounts
2. Delays in its web
Not only for SC: There are coins whose value is a few sats or few cents. If a lot of people with high amount of any coins want to sell/buy them, maybe this problem will repeat.
Finally, recent news about computer virus/trojans arround the world, I think is better lost my coins by myself because I have a mistake/technical problem in my computer/phone instead of my coins are out of my reach.
And I want to sleep quiet
I like Polo, but last weeks I'm not quiet with it (completly personal opinion). I enter in when I see that there are not delays and seems to work well.

have you personally had problems when it comes to withdrawal? i've never had problems moving large amounts from polo (everything but XRP)
