To be honest, I do see very strong optimistic approach here. Bitcoin on cryptocurrencies is class of asset that is still developing and evolving and thus there is a high-risk high-return principal applies while investing in it and hence I would not recommend you or anyone else to invest his whole wealth in a single asset class because no one knows what is going to happen down the road so, defending the capital should be the primary aim while investing in my opinion.
Selling you house for bitcoin is not a smart move man. Investment in bitcoin is a long term plan in which profit is kept and not used quickly. Yes it is smart to buy bitcoin and trade them and keep them for future uses.
You don't need to sacrifice something just to have bitcoin and its really not a good idea. Smart people don't just buy bitcoin, you must know how to be more patient because you can't make money here easily. smart people which have a big money will buy bitcoin if they find that bitcoin is really good to invest and I am sure they will buy with secret without anyone will know. they will use the opportunity to buy bitcoin especially if the price is down like today and they will buy more if the price drop too deep. but if we sell that we have for just buy bitcoin, I think it is not a good idea because if we need that things then how we sell it and wait for a long time so we can buy the same things again.
