I think the reason behind the selling of your ETH to ADA could have been the current state where ADA is potentially increasing it's price growth. But buying ADA might not be good because you can't really tell the future of some new coin, it may grow big but i don't think it will overcome ETH.
The Cardano project aims to create a technological platform that will run financial applications used by individuals, organizations, and governments, as well as running smart contracts and decentralized applications. Basically, Cardano is a next-gen Ethereum on steroids. And yes, you can get more profit out of ADA then from Ethereum in short term.
Sold all your ethereum and use it to invest in ADA. That's totally a wrong move. Because ethereum is far greater and better than ADA in so many way. What Eth can be used for, ada can not do half.
if you sell the ethereum you have now just to buy the ADA for me it is a pretty sloppy act. ethereum has a very good development and has a very good potential for us to make long-term investment because it will give us many advantages but for ADA I think it still takes a long time to reach a high price
In my opinion, you have done the right thing, as Ethereum has been disappointing over the past few months. If the luck favors you then it would be a game changer for you.

I agree with you that ADA has great potential. But I also think that Ethereum has not lost its strength and its price is yet to rise. But that's my opinion.
As I think, it's not good idea because if the current situation of ethereum is so bad we know it will up soon. Therefore what we have to do is holding. When we are doing crypto currencies the main thing that we have to have is be patient.
Not a bad choice, I have to admit. I am not holding any ADA right now, but I would still argue that it is one of the most promising altcoins in the market right now. There is a bright future ahead for Cardano!!!
A bold move if I might say, there is no way that I would make such a move like that because by diversifying I am mitigating the risks that are involved with me investing in cryptos so I can never imagine putting all of my money in one coin. Although we are all here to make money so if you feel like this is the best way for you to make the most profit then go with it
if in my opinion it's all too risky to sell all eth and buy in the ADA. because we can buy in some ADA, but I think we should hold on to the eth we have right now, but it all depends on how you trade, it's just a matter of buying and selling at the right time to get you a big profit in this market. But that's your money, we have nothing to do with it and will know what's best for us, because I can only give you an idea of how the market works, but I advise to do some research before investing in some coins due to some illegitimate or scam.

I believe that ADA can become more profitable in short term then ETH, but ETH has more value on the market, that's why it's number one altcoin.

I wouldn't do that. I believe that ethereum will be the leader of the altcoins. So I hold ethereum in the long term and separately bought ADA without selling my ethereum.
i think its not a good alternative for you to do, you may lose more money if you sell ETH to buy ADA. You will take longer to get results from the development of the ADA because ETH is faster to develop its value compared to the ADA. The profits to be derived will be greatly derived from ETH rather than the ADA, as ETH grows consistently so that it can be quicker to reach its peak. Instead you can should make ratio of 3:4

ETH is more than just a tool to collect money for ico's, and eth has not reached it's full potential either.

I think your thinking is not good. Because ETH is sound good in crypto market and ETH has potential chance to grow up and make a new value so mate don't get panicked please keep patience and enjoy the magic of ETH. Jump to:
