After missing last year's pool and as promised already, I'm also joining here.

I'm sure, we'll get at least 20 participants to have an even bigger pool (+ participation fees), so predicting should get even more interesting.

Sometimes, later in the season, teams are also taking engine penalties (affecting starting grid) which are announced over the weekend mostly before qualifying but sometimes also after qualifying.

It is not difficult,while it is completely different from soccer betting let me give you a few insights as so you don't come up last.First of all you need to put your predictions before the official qualifying starts,usually on Saturday afternoon,this way you will get the Early Brew Points which are 2.

Posting as a way to put this on my watch list. Never participated in F1 pool since I never even watched a race for more than 5 minutes. Not a fan of motorsports, but big fan of our pools so maybe I decide to donate my 2mBTC. I know last place is reserved for me here if I join.

I have fixed it. Thank you for the warning. Frankly, it is really very enjoyable to watch Formula 1. While you are thinking that the race is over everything can be upside down with a safety car. Frankly, I'm wondering what you can do as a person who isn't following the sport at all.

To get to know a bit better about the teams performances,you should if possible watch the Friday practice as it says a lot and then based on those results put your predictions on.
With this I basically gave away my strategy of last year which brought me 3rd in the rankings and I even missed 4 points from the Early Brew Points so I could have been 2nd over all

2mBTC is in line what most pools here do, and yeah, I really like F1 because it is a bit different, not that easy to make advantage, since most points are dealed with pool and podium positions, but catching exact podium positions send you upper certainly

Thank you for organizing again as this is the pool I like the most because F1 is the sport I like the most and as I said I only miss morning races for European time which are Australia and Japan,all others I am ready to watch and looking forward to that penultimate race of Las Vegas,it should be the best of all calendar.
Actually we need to thank Steve. He wanted this pool to be organized. Actually I'm just a helper. This is one of the 2 pools that I enjoy the most. The other one is the FPL pool icopress has organized. I recommend you to look into it as well next season. I guess the reason why is that it gets boring to make score predictions only for the matches after some time.
By the way, I have created the league on Superbru. I have sent the pool link to the users who have written that they would like to join.

I am making a two payments of 0.001 for this and I think it will be OK,as I have done so in all the soccer pool where the prize was 2 mBtc,let me know if this is OK and I will send first payment on 1-2 March and second on 10 March.
First of all, I'm really happy that you have decided to participate in the pool. The last day for the payment is going to be March 17 which is before the 2nd race. If you would like you can send the payment at one time on that date.
I'm sorry about the entry fee. As it is the only pool about motorsports I think it wouldn't affect the participation at all.

Count me in as well,as last season I enjoyed very much the pool and every race I saw with emotion of pool standings beside the original emotion because no matter what I always watch every race in Europe and US,while Australia and Japan,I am not an early person anymore on Sundays,for me is enough going to work during week days to get up early so these races for me who live in Europe are usually missed ones.
Is the payment the same as 0.001 or it has changed?I think it should be the same but if for some reason we need it bigger then I would suggest no more than 0.0015 as this is a pool which needs more participants and not less,so the prize entry level can be a deciding factor here.

The Formula 1 2023 season is officially starting this weekend in Bahrain.Formula 1's popularity has increased unbelievably much in the recent years. I quite enjoyed the pool of the previous season. I hope that we have a much more entertaining pool this year. We are going to use Superbru again this year. However I'm open for other suggestions as well if there is any.
As being the sponsor of the pools on the forum, Sportsbet.io and Steve have always supported the members here. And they didn't leave us alone here this year too and indicated that they were going to sponsor this pool also. The only thing remaining is to see whether we will see the interest we hope in this pool.
