Don't forget to put in all your picks for next race. Don't worry @CLS63 if you think you're a failure look at the rest of us.

I can't believe Max odds to win is soooo small, Lando Norris has been pushing him so hard the last few races you should think odds would be something like 2x for him and 3x for Norris maybe.

There must be something fishy going on I see Hulkenberg odds is less than 100x, usually he is way below.

Thanks I didn't forget about making them. But I couldn't predict the pole winner.  Grin  It was a quite different result of course. Is there anyone who predicted Russell pole? I was indecisive between Verstappen and Norris but chose Verstappen later. He was really bad today. I still hope to see him climbing to top to be competitive for the win. I'm worried about Norris to win. I thought of putting him to top but changed my mind. I hope I don't regret it.

I think Norris has the best chance to win tomorrow under normal conditions as Mercedes despite looking great in the single lap qualifying in the race they have usually failed miserably, this is a track much different than Austria,in here overtaking is extremely very much possible and I think McLaren will play their card not in the early start of the race but during the first pit stop,Norris if he can pass both Mercedes in the first stint it would be great yet if not I am sure he can be staying close enough to the Mercedes to pass them through the pit stop.I have a high trust in a big failure and tire degradation of the Mercedes cars tomorrow and as such I believe Norris to have really big chances of winning the race.Verstappen and Redbull look far from being competitive in this track and they never were even when the car was much better than this in previous years.

The problem with Mercedes is that their car doesn't have a very great race pace and that might cost them the victory tomorrow. There is also a possibility for them to win if Hamilton will play in team and will try to keep Norris in 3rd place as much as he can because in this way I could see Russel having a smooth race and giving time for Mercedes to think a great pitlane stop.

Personally , I hope Piastri will emerge out of nowhere and secure another podium because this kid deserves everything good that happens to him in F1 so far.

Who could have thought that we will have 3 Brittish drivers starting from Top 3 at Brittish GP. I was able to watch only Q3 and it seems that weather was big factor today, like Max going out of track. It's something wrong with Ferrari again when Haas will start above both their drivers. And Perez - just no comments about him.
Tomorrow's race should be very interesting with multiple contenders to fight for a win. Weather conditions will be complicated again with chance of rain and very low temperatures.

Anyone activated the traveltime machine?

Are we in 2018? Are we back on Mercedes dominance? hahahaha ton of time without seeing a 1-2 for Mercedes. What happen with RedBull? and for Ferrari no words, is always the same, is incredible how they start to drop in the mid season until the end.

It is just pure randomness for me seeing these Mercedes performing well,it was all because of track temperature changing favoring them.Verstappen screwed himself this qualification by going out of track in the Q1 which damaged his car and Redbull crew couldn't do much in that time frame, hopefully they recover the car for tomorrow.I wonder why such a bad lap for Norris in the end of Q3,totally disastrous instead of sending it he couldn't do anything. For tomorrow though I have him as a winner and I doubt Mercedes will be strong enough to hold him,in race distance McLaren is much much better and tire degradation is not something that Mercedes is famous to hold well, they are the first to pit in most cases.I guess very few people in here got a point with Russell in pole and those who did, well done to them.

Wow, maybe they have found the formula back again in this season. They have incredible performance now and both the Mercedes are at the top. Still, Maclaren has found its footing at the top. Very nice performances! I can't wait for the actual race this time around.

It looks like going to be a very hard prediction for this GP. Hmm.

Super crazy Q1 in Silverstone so far! The rain came out of nowhere and ruin a lot of laps for a lot of drivers and once again Perez didn't manage to make it into Q2...and this has become a normality for him and it won't help RedBull at all.

Max almost lost his car in turn 9 and if we wasn't a very gifted driver he would have crashed for sure but even with damanged tyres he managed to secure Q2 just a lap after.

Honestly , this qualification session might be the best of the season with rain seems to make random appearances.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
However , like you said , I do hope Norris vs Verstappen will happen again or Piastri vs Verstappen should also be a very attractive duel where personally I do see Piastri being the winner.
So far, Norris still seems to be faster than Piastri but in the last race if there were more laps I am sure he would have overtaken Russell and won.

If something happens again with Norris, Piastri can definitely bring the win home. Mclaren has a very good driver line up and it’s a good decision to keep them until 2026.

I've also read that Norris no longer travels with Verstappen with his private jet and even if they are friends they should have a rivalry when they are racing and hopefully this won't break their friendship as that might result in bad accidents for both of them when they meet on track.
Well in recent interviews, it seems like they have talked. Anyway personal lives aside, rivalries in f1 is always fun to watch.  Grin

I'm a failure in the pool this season.  Tongue  Top 10 is still possible to fight for but I will need to collect some really extra points than the people ahead of me. Maybe starting to take bigger risks would be more reasonable but I will look into it. This week I will try to analyze driver performances better to go for an exact podium. But nothing is guaranteed really. The last race was a great example for that. But only collecting podium bonuses would help me recover from now on.

Silverstone is upon us!  Smiley  It is going to be underway by FP1 tomorrow. I really like the races here and can't wait for the one this Sunday. A really thrilling competition is waiting for us as it seems...

Norris vs Verstappen is going to be live again surely. These are 2 best friends of course. Norris has also made a recent statement that he has no problems with him and he doesn't expect any apology for that touch either.

It is nice to see this. Competition is in the nature of this sport. But this shouldn't harm the friendship between the drivers. I hope we watch a good rivalry at the weekend. No matter my choice on Superbru is, I'd still be happy to see Norris winning this race.  Smiley

Verstappen really hates this track , right ? I mean the fans won't appreciate him no matter what and he circuit itself haven't been grateful to RedBull lately. However , like you said , I do hope Norris vs Verstappen will happen again or Piastri vs Verstappen should also be a very attractive duel where personally I do see Piastri being the winner.

I think Norris didn't expect Verstappen to get this close to him. I believe he didn't have go to the left more as well. Verstappen was just careless there and I don't think the penalty he got for that was fair. FIA is always favouring the strong. It was the same in the Mercedes era as well. We saw its examples with Hamilton those days.
My feed now on YouTube is all about the analysis of their racing and most of the videos I watched are on to the part that Norris should've been given the 1st position when he was ahead on the apex on the turn. This wasn't yet on the crash. Max overtook again when he was outside track limits. I don't think he was penalized fairly with that. Norris should've been ahead at that time.

That is correct and it is also the same statement we heard from Norris on radio telling the team that he was ahead when Max took a shortcut outside the track. It is good that this incident happened not late into the season but in the middle of it so Norris should know what to expect in the coming races and since the McLaren car is racing at home in this weekend can push Verstappen wide without caring much as he won't be penalized that hard here in Silverstone. He can say to Max "karma is a b*tch mate" and I am very much looking forward to this moment.

Do you remember how not long ago everyone here was complaining how boring this season in Formula 1 is?  Grin
Well they cant say that anymore and I like this competition between Verstappen and Norris.
British drivers should have advantage in Silverstone but Norris needs to stay cool and win some points for title race.

Yes I remember it exactly.  Smiley  The season is getting better by every race. McLaren has made such a big improvement this season that they are surprising everyone day by day. I see Red Bull being this vulnerable for the first time in a couple of years. Verstappen has also started to realize that he isn't in his comfort zone anymore. This caused Verstappen to start defending like in the old times when he was doing it against Hamilton in 2021. Norris - Verstappen rivalry must be going on heated this weekend too.

It is nice that we have another race without a break.  Smiley  I think Norris and Verstappen will compete even harder in Silverstone. Copse corner is the place we see accidents the most. I won't be surprised if Norris and Verstappen have another incident there.

Pretty similar situation with Max vs Carlos and Max vs Lando.

Finally I won a Austrian Grand Prix Yellow Cap, but Austria was not that lucky for me in EURO 2024 predictions Sad
I am far for getting into top positions on leaderboard, but I dont want to finish in bottom part.

As far as I can see everyone didn't see this result coming in Austria.  Smiley  That podium change and seeing some good names finishing out of top 10 caused everyone to lose potential good number of points. After leaving 11 race weeks behind I'm at the 6th position. I lost one position after Austria maybe but I still think I'm in good condition in top 10 for achieving a prize. There are still 13 more races of course so I will do the best I can to reach better a place.
