Leclerc also likes this track so maybe this might be a chance for him to reach podium again finally. A challenge among Norris - Verstappen - Leclerc would be lovely.  Smiley
Yes I saw he was always finishing in top positions in many previous seasons, and I hope he continues doing the same thing.
Verstappen and Norris are always in competition for top positions and maybe this Grand Prix can make race for driver title even more interesting.
Leclerc has 149, Norris 150, and Verstappen 219 points.

Thanks for the reminder, just placed my bets, but expect a strong RedBull team on the home track, think no other team will have more data and information than RedBull on this track.

The only thing is the weather could be changeable for the weekend.

~snip~

I also think the same. Red Bull is always different home. I don't have much expectation from Perez though. But Verstappen will be giving his best for the win certainly.  Smiley  Lots of Dutch fans would also fill the seats to support Verstappen during the weekend.

My weather source is also like:

Source: Weather.com

There is a rain probability for Sunday but it is more likely at night rather than during the day.  Sad  I hope we see some rain drops to make the race more interesting.

Been crap lately yeah, simply don't have time for this due to EURO's, BSFL, LMS..
Monaco GP ruined me, you all changed your predictions and I did not. After that everything went downhill.

I can still reach top 10, 11th currently, and I hope I'll have more time on my hands to properly check the form and results before blindly submitting.

I think that there is quite a big gap from the places behind 10th place to the 9th place but I think there is quite a lot of road ahead regarding this pool and since cars performance is changing quite a lot from race to race chances are there for every pool participant to recover greatly until the end as there are about 14-15 races left, this is the longest ever Formula1 season.I think though that the teams that brought upgrades should see them being reflected in the upcoming race in Austria as this track is quite technical,so I surely expect better from Ferrari at least.

A resounding climb in points for some, so significant have changes in the top 10, keep in mind that this table shown only takes into account the changes from round 6 to round 10, so that "New" may already have occurred.

So Norris did get a pretty good result. Pole and fastest lap, yet still the Max effect takes place. What can one do? Leclerc failed to impress -- at least Perez more or less did what was expected, and got me some bonus points, alongside Piastri.
I think Norris is doing amazing this season in Formula 1 and he is now in second place on driver positions, team McLaren made a great move signing a deal with him.
Biggest fail for me is Sergio Perez, he is driving the same car like Verstappen but he is now in fifth place overall, and he finished only on eight in Spanish Grand Prix.
Question is can Norris make a big surprise and overtake Verstappen in first place?

Thanks guys; I'm beginning to get the hang of this sport  Grin

Me too. Guy called Max gets to splash champagne at the end of the race, right? Wink

I'm going to do another round of weird picks. Absolute stunner of a race last one in terms of placing, and my gambles still didn't pay off. So I'll once more sprinkle some pixie dust and hope (other than Max) some of the unusual suspects get on the podium. Leclerc's got to be due a 2nd again no?
that is what I’m thinking as well. Maybe LeClerc or Norris again at the top of the standing. I hope that there is an interesting race in Spain and maybe some unexpected whether or something could improve or make the race more entertaining.

I hope to see more of the Mercedes as well when the Qualifying starts and maybe at the top because it’s kind of promising now with their recent race results.

A decent 14 points for me, to reward my trust in Norris getting right behind Max. But my overall standings are so poor, I'm looking down only at 3 others players (who've probably given up).

It was really fun race to watch. For me most epic moment was race start. While Norris and Verstappen was fighting side by side, Russel out of nowhere took a lead. But his lead didn't took long.
Next race is already next week in Austria, track which usually gives lot of action. And we will have Sprint race there.

Jeremy is getting better and better in F1 predictions lately and also he seems to enjoy F1 way more than before so big congrats for him for this weekend and also taking the yellow cap <3.
Previously he left no chances for us in most of football pools and now he is doing same in F1 pool. Congrats Jeremy, you bastard  Grin well deserved!

Great F1 weekend in my opinion , with RedBull having a strong race strategy that in the end won them the race but it's another race where Perez barely made it into top 10 to bring some points for the team.

McLaren , great car , great drivers but they lack the experience to actually win races right ? For now , it's okay as with each race they make , this car is getting stronger and stronger and both Norris and Piastri are getting confident with each lap.

Ferrari ? meh , awful race , awful strategy and awful race start from both of their drivers.

Big congrats to jeremypwr for winning the yellow cap with 18 points,I never thought anyone would have made more than 15-16 points during such a race but apparently I was very long.I have gone for a Norris win which he lost in the first corner unfortunately and it was like a deja vu,he was following Verstappen and shortening the gap yet the laps ended before he manage to overtake him again and again.I also never expected such a huge improvement from Mercedes yet I believe it was only this track that made them faster than Ferrari as they didn't brought any upgrades and in Austria next week we see the real power of the cars.I still managed to be 3rd in the standings while I thought to have lost several positions during this race,an interesting fact is that the 9 places have a big distance to 10th and below and I believe the prize spots will be disputed between such members.

hahahaha man, congrats to jeremy for winning the round and beating me, i dont see the race but when i see the results i was confident in my chances of winning the round, because i select the correc poleman, the winner the podium positions and also the fastest lap, but well that Ocon in 10 place give Jeremy a super 1.5 extra point and destroy my last hopes.

What an amazing race with all the kissing of rubber side-by-side with the cars and the impressive start with the unexpected overtake, it’s really getting better with the races. I just think Max is really dominant driver and he could really make the car fast.

Finally had my best prediction during the season and I hope to continue this one.  Cool

I had a strong belief that Norris will win the pole position and I got him right together with the EBP points,so I have the max starting points before the race.I know my other picks except Norris winning the race which still is not a sure thing are very weird and are not at all near the same order as they will start tomorrow.Nevertheless I am gambling it by leaving everything as is and hoping for the best, this track was difficult enough, now they have made it even more difficult by making the last corner faster and I expect some bad accidents to happen during tomorrow race. For sure the power of Redbull is only in downside,it is only the driver,Max who is showing his skill by winning in both Canada and Imola not with the fastest car.It looks like McLaren is one of the fastest cars now if not the fastest.

I also put Norris on pole position especially after seeing his FP3 performance and the odds given for qualifying winner.  Grin  I wouldn't have any regrets even if he didn't get past Verstappen there. But it was so much fun to watch.

It looks like there are 4 of us thought the same and trusted Norris with the pole if I didn't count wrong. I have seen your other picks yeah. You got really bold with preferring Norris for the win also. Is it not possible? Of course it is but it wouldn't be easy surely.

By the way Perez got a three-place grid penalty from Canada because of an infringement. So he is starting in 11th place. What a disaster for Red Bull this season...  Sad

I am forced to go with bold predictions for the upcoming races and hoping to hit some of them right in order to make a distance at the top or to go down miserably at the bottom, this time I have taken this route and I don't regret it at all.It was boring putting Verstappen and Perez always 1st and 2nd and for me it is clear that Redbull is not anymore the fastest car on the track,it is only Max who is making it look like it is,that is the reason I have gone with Norris and as you I was also pushed by the free practices sessions where I saw only less than 10 milliseconds between the top guys and I thought for me McLaren is the fastest car so I am definitely going for them,I am a fan of them and won't regret if they lose me points or not.

We have left qualifying behind and got interesting results. Norris managed to take the pole position from Verstappen in the last seconds of the session. I really thought of putting him on my pole after seeing how close his odds were to Verstappen's just before the qualifying. I wish I tried it.  Sad  I thought Mercedes would have issues and Ferrari would shine but it didn't happen as well. I hope I can get more lucky with my picks during the race.
It already looked that Verstappen had perfect lap and nobody can take pole from him. But Norris somehow managed to do it by just 0.02 seconds, imagine how tiny such margin is when you put cars side by side.
Not great outcome for Ferrari, but actually, they were really close. No rain is expected during race, but we can expect interesting race, even tough it's not most exciting track.

That is great to know that no rain is expected during this race,we don't need rain in a track like this,it can be a better race without rain, the track is one of the legendary ones and one of the most technical,I would love of course to see Lando winning again as last time in Canada it was the rain and Safety Car who took his victory away.I know it won't be easy as Verstappen is a very fast driver yet when Lando now has a powerful car like McLaren I expect a lot of good battles going on in this track. Not only this battle but also the battle between the two Ferraris and two Mercedes who is going to be a great battle too.
