If they do not owe you anything they can close your account whenever they like and they are not obligated to give you an explanation.

That is the definition of a terrible service. Imagine google closing your mail service because you aren't receiving mails anymore? Facebook closing your account because you haven't messaged anybody in ages? Sounds stupid to me. BTW he did had a few satoshi's and they shouldn't have closed it without a warning.

They are good with 'selective stuff'. Most of their rules, lotteries, KYC policies are not for everyone, just for a few selective customers.

Think of it like this- if you're at a bar, the bartender or bouncer can send you home if you're too drunk.
They don't owe you any explanation, and you must listen. It's their rules.

The same goes for betting sportsbooks.
They are providing you a service.
It's not a Right, but rather a Privilege to play there. They don't have to accept your money if they don't feel like it.
Which also means if you're not using their services, they can close your account if they feel like it.

I feel like giving this a try, is KYC mandatory? and how fast are the payouts? I just don't want to get scammed with my hard earned cryptos.

For now the T&C say that theyll be requiring a KYC for winnings above €2300. Although many people have reported that they have withdrawn more than that without being asked for a KYC.
I have personally withdrawn around .1+ at a time without being asked for KYC.

They don't have a permanent set of terms and conditions. It keeps changing over night especially if a big amount withdrawal is requested. If I was you, I would rather play on sites that don't have KYC policies.

Since there's no money inside, I wouldn't worry that much since there were other sportsbooks that would have taken your bet.

It's not about money, it's about locking people out of their accounts without a warning.
