What I noticed in BSFL in the divisions 3 especially a lot of people got very high points for making quite crazy picks. Picks I never make, which definitely makes me think sometimes that research can harm your chances, especially when dealing with teams like Atletico.
I need to start making more crazy predictions, but whenever I attempted to look for surprise result I failed in La Liga  Cry
This was one of the worst weeks for my predictions and I need to change my tactics somehow.
I think I had better results when I made random predictions with thinking anything.

no comments here, but hard fought win for Barca, and they are back to no.2, didn't look as realistic just a few rounds ago, but Girona stepped down a bit lately
It was a matter of when not if with Girona. Realistically they couldn't have been expected to keep it up all the way till season end. That game against Real Madrid was the one that brought the reality back for them. Never been the same free flowing side after that one.
I have similar thoughts about Girona, I like to watch how they play, but it there was no chance for them to fight for title and that loss against Real hit them hard.

I was thinking the same about Girona, although thought that they will fall earlier, and at one point started to look as Sociedad some seasons ago, when they were holding till the end
Girona will not reach the end, but CL spot is secured, which is probably over any expectation

Valencia is also close to ECL spot, which would be great for next season, team is young, goalkeeper is pure gold, and manager is good, should be much better season

F*ck you Atletico. When I made bets on Atletico and Valencia today, I thought that there is higher chance that Valencia to screw up thing for me, while I was confident about Atletico. Valencia done their jb, while Atletico lost to mighty Cadiz.
They hade several missing players for this match, but I would never fully trust any La Liga teams this season, they are a real enigma to me!
I have only 3 points in this round with zero exact predictions, and matches left for tomorrow are very hard to predict.
The more I do research I am getting worse results  Tongue

Losing without scoring is even more unbelievable.

OTOH now the teams we all hate to pick, like Valencia, are making big comebacks. Enigma teams for sure, and I'm stuck outside prize spots once more.

Now Real Sociedad again managed to save their asses on last minutes. Next is Girona - Osasuna, might be interesting game.

Yeah, the stats always showed them to be overperforming. I don't always keep track of teams but I remember Spurs doing that a lot, and Liverpool season after season -- it always bites back, if not the end of the season, then the one after. It's rather why I feel afraid for Liverpool next season. We're letting in fewer goals than we should be, and scoring a little more than we should. Going against the mean is not sustainable.

Then again -- Real have managed to overperform in the UCL season after season, and tournaments seem to be where you can continuously defy the average. So maybe there's something to adjust for in KO competitions, but in the league, numbers bring the truth out eventually.

Oh, and Atleti. The surprise bedshitters.

Valencia has a good chance to win at home, Europe place is not that far, but consistency is needed to get there, you know that things are not great, when odds to win over Getafe at home are @2
Almeria will face Sevilla and again try to win first match this season

Not over for sure but the run has truly ended. Bellingham will have his glory...
Was he the guy who got suspended after calling one Getafe player a rapist, and he got a red card against Valencia last round?
Something is seriously wrong with this guy, and I didnt saw much from him in last champions league match except his assist for first goal.

I like him as a player but yes lately he has been making weird comments. Of course maybe he was always like that but the Spanish media is really loving to dig into players as all these news came out since he moved to Real Madrid. I don't know what it was the truth with Mason Greenwood but Bellingham shouldn't be calling people names and just focus on the football.

Also yes it was a goal for sure, the ref did a dumb thing but you can't react like that, the red card was fully deserved.

Weird guy for sure...

Lol, lol, and lol again. First Real should have lost, but found 1 point, and of course everyone says they should get full 3 (but the draw was rather unfair if it took into account everything).
I think Girona just lost a great chance to get points this round, and maybe they dont have enough wisdom to compete on high level until the end.

Like I was saying, Real can really afford to take it easy this season. Drop points as much as they want, all the others can't take advantage. I think Barca is better as a pacesetter rather than a chaser, I guess the same is with Atletico, Girona surely will have a big inferiority complex after this season.

Villareal running riot, needed Granada to score to at least get a half point advantage at 4, but then after Sorloth's hattrick nothing mattered -- doesn't sound like much but this season approaches the end and I feel like every half point will matter.
This league was total disaster for my predictions in Superbru, I dont know how jeremy has so much points on top Grin
Please give me some smart Borneo Headhunters advice to move from the bottom.

Crazy results today in this round of La Liga, and I only have one point in Supebru so far Tongue
Sevilla was better than Real Sociedad that continues to sink and lose matches, and Real Madrid just got a draw against Valencia.
Now Girona and Barcelona have chance to come back in title race if they win their matches tomorrow, but I am sure it wont be easy for them.

Then Girona fail to score and lose.

Then Barca fail to score and lose.

This is truly a case of, if we can't win, it's okay the others also can't win. Real is having a relaxed season it seems.

Valencia should have won, but a point from Real is always victory. It could have been worse, apparently. Ref blew whistle to end game as the ball was in the air (and then Jude scored). Sorry for you man.

That referee decision to end match in the middle of Real attack was biggest WTF I saw for a while. Even bigger than that AFCON referee who ended game few minutes too early. You know, I'm always happy when Real drop points, but it was just nonsense.
Villarreal this season don't give much joy for their fans, but today they had probably best game of season. Now there is interesting game between Mallorca and Girona, things doesn't looks so great in Girona anymore and it will be difficult to win today. And main game Athletic - Barcelona. Athletic is looking scary now, how they destroyed Atletico in Copa. It looks that taking 1 point in San Mames wouldn't be bad result for Barca.

Tonight I'm supporting Valencia who will play 5 players 22 or younger, I really like where they are going. For sure we will have to reevaluate their shit status after this season if all those kids remain as first team.
can't say that I am not happy with a point, but it looked as three long in the game
not an easy weekend, Everton was up and lost, Valencia was up and got a draw, and Leyton Orient just losted important match by one goal, Sunday to relax

Have to admit I had no idea Valencia's new state of lineup were this young. It's not rare these days to feature teenagers, but I counted 4 players who are 19 to 21, and the next oldest are 22. And that they're all from the academy is even more impressive. Sustainable though? Yet to be determined.

Everton didn't deserve to lose, but they really need to figure out where to get goals from, Dyche must understand it's partially their formation. Valencia should have won, but a point from Real is always victory. It could have been worse, apparently. Ref blew whistle to end game as the ball was in the air (and then Jude scored). Sorry for you man.

nervous all over the match, and it finished as draw, although Valencia had 2:0 lead early in the match
Vinicius brought Real back, and Jude got a red card in the end

round just started, Celta is pushing all forces against Almeria
hope to see good performance from my favorite keeper there

nevertheless, main spectacle this round for me is Valencia vs Real, although Bilbao vs Barcelona is probably looking fancier to others, bearing in mind Bilbao current form, and that Barca is usually having a hard time in Baskia

hope for a good round

Man you really have to give it to those who picked Celta 1-0, most of us went the right way but only Close score, clean sheets will give them more confidence for sure. Tonight I'm supporting Valencia who will play 5 players 22 or younger, I really like where they are going. For sure we will have to reevaluate their shit status after this season if all those kids remain as first team.

So despite supporting Barca, this is also my pick to watch if I can survive my night waking up early, a few friends are planning to go early, the match is 5am so our challenge is to get out of bed at 430am and get early Sunday breakfast before my shift starts at 9am lol

Well done @Renato297 it was another week for me to generally forget, the problem is when there are draws, and this week so many happened, with all the teams too I expected more.

New week new hope, and I'm giving my faith to the big teams to score all 3 points. Barca I will pretend I'm ignoring all the news, for me as long as we keep Raphina fit, we can go many places in this short term. While waiting for our dear Gavi to return and power up with Pedri again, it will be nightmare.
