Super Boost promos on La Liga would be icing on the cake for sure, what do you guys think, and also bigger pool? Wink Wink Wink
You know I have already thought about that and I will for sure try to get better sponsorship next season  Grin

At least we should have some merch available to add to the pot if deal includes promo materials. We shall see, still early days.

Beers with Steve in La Liga, watching El Clasico trying not to get drunk, I'll be even more envious of you guys once I start to see the pictures. I posted in the ANN thread but just to really say I'm personally of the thinking that this was a really smart move. Not just the clubs anymore but the entire liga.

Slava Ukraini!
Damn, what El Clasico it was, I was so excited not without a reason - Barca wins 4:0 at Santiago Bernabeu. In 1st half it looked like only matter of time when Real will score, but they fall into Barcelona offside trap. But for Barca it was playing with fire.
2nd half was already different, Barca took initiative over. Real defense struggled, sometimes their players looked a bit passive. Maybe without Carvajal they become more vulnerable. Remember how much criticism Lewandowski got last season. Well, now he is perfect, being already 36 years. Though, it's crazy how he missed that moment and didn't ended with hattrick. Yamal and Rapinha also was big part of this win.

Same here, feel like this is the first El Classicio after long time I plan to watch for full 90 minutes. Could also be the late evening slot factor for me. I just can't watch Classico in that early time slot just so they can squeeze a bit more money from other time zones. Just feels wrong after years of staying awake to watch it in peace when everyone else is already sleeping in the house. 9 PM isn't 10 PM like it used to be but it is much closer than 1:30  Grin
I already don't remember when they had El Clasico so late, maybe 15 or more years ago. In my timezone game started 10 PM, so, it's perfect time for me Cheesy.

I can't remember when last time I was counting hours until El Clasico like I'm doing today. Well, it's difficult not to get excited after game with Bayern. While Real is in great shape too, after big comeback against Dortmund. Should be epic game.

That's cool. Already from beginning of season I noticed Sportsbet ads on LED screens during games and was wondering why it's in Turkish language. Congrats Sportsbet with another big partnership!

One more game tonight for me to really switch my mind thinking about my club. Its been so many years of bad news now that I'm worried to think positive is to forget about our big problems below, namely the management of the admin and finance.

I know CL is not La Liga but this match is probably much more important than the Clasico as it will show us just how good or bad we are competitively, to wipe out the bad memories of past seasons.

In Search of Incredible
Well, it was another good round for me after the round 5. These rounds have helped me to climb up in the leaderboard. Still, I'm far away from the top and near to the bottom Cheesy. Initially, I submitted my prediction as 'Valencia 0 - 1 Las Palmas'. But I had changed it two hours before the start of the match, made it 1-0 from 0-1 by thinking that it will be a safe choice to be the yellow cap holder of this round. Looks like it was a poor decision from me.

I have to eat all my words about Lewandowski but Yamal coming through injury is the best news for us, next to the return of Gavi  Smiley
So far things in La Liga for Barca looks too good to be true. After few seasons with nervous results like 1:0, now you can watch games a bit relaxed.
But this week will big reality check. First we have game with Bayern in CL and then El Clasico in Madrid on Saturday. After these games we will get more clear image what this team is capable to achieve.

I'm still trying to not get overexcited about this.

Gavi back is the brightest thing for us, him and Pedri together wow, I miss that so badly and that's what we really need longterm, imagine Yamal and even Fati also together again we will get our groove back.

Have to say Raphinha and Lewandowski I don't dare to get too invested.

Like you say tho, Bayern and Real is the true time to reflect. Hansi's gonna be staying up every night until this is over.

And then after that we get a rather normal round of games in the end. With Barca scoring a hell lot, and even Atletico managing to get their win. Madrid recording one more also.

^ Heh yep. The form-breaker/maker that we all hate and know so well -- but it has to be said, probably loved by teams in a shitty run of form. I can think of United, relegation strugglers, certainly Valladolid being one. If you've been down in the dumps, you definitely want a break to rediscover form, perhaps get a few guys back from injury, etc.

From being able to score all of 5 goals in 9 games like them to transform suddenly into a team that bags 3 goals in an away game, yeah, they'd take a break any time. Still needed 2 pens though... so they're not getting my backing any time soon.

First game of international break and already lose points from a small upset, we see Valladolid had different ideas from most of us sorry ALL of us lol

See the magic of international break, teams can change everything and make you look stupid.

Hope this jinx doesn't happen to Barca, but for Real, please Wink

No, we will continue to watch La Liga EA Sports. Riyadh didn't bought naming rights, they will be just one of many sponsors. Anyway, selling naming rights isn't something new, previously we had LA Liga BBVA or La Liga Santander.
Atletico stadium few years ago was called Wanda Metropolitano, now Saudi Air is just different sponsor.
Selling naming rights is thing where you can get huge money, nothing surprising that leagues and clubs can't resist from signing such deals. In their place I would do same.
Of course, but it is somehow sounds so much better when sponsor is local, La Liga Santader sounds natural while Riyadh La Liga sounds blah  Grin At least to me. Maybe that is because I was used to the old one.

Yes this is my point exactly. I never complained about sponsor, we need it. And when Barca put Unicef on their shirt which was not Spanish, I think the whole club felt proud of that.

The German fans feel the most strong about this I believe, Which is why they protest so strongly. I remember someone threw a bull head on the pitch when RB Leipzig came to their stadium. Thats a completely different story oc but its kinda the same spirit.

Anyway, we continue Smiley

New sponsor for La Liga, next 3 seasons we gonna be watching Riyadh LaLiga  Grin I guess it was only matter of time before oil money took over the entire name of the liga, And I thought LaLiga EA Sports was bad LOL Miss Santander badly

And if that's not bad enough now Atletico will play at Saudi Air Metropolitano.

Oil money here we go!!!

Well, Gazzaniga saving 2/3 penaltys in the Girona Bilbao game is just incredible, poor guys who b ets on the Bilba win, i put them to win i think on my picks, but not money involved at all.

And what a win for Girona to finally winning the game by a penalty kick  Grin

I got really devastated with that last minute penalty. Sad Because my prediction was a 1-1 draw and it was going to help me collect 3 more valuable points. The match was a really interesting one at the same time. Gazzaniga saved all those penalties but have you noticed the poor quality of all of them? It was really awkward. Anyway after this round I'm entering the national break with 92 points by dropping one place down to the 12th position.
