And one day finally Elche win in LaLiga, and was a really good win against Villarreal, but the sad part its when you look the table and see them so far from the next team to catch up.

Well trofo so we are gonna wait for this news, i hope i can do better this time, but as always you need a bit of luck to progress like always.

Anyway guys I have some good news. Some of you were involved in World Cup competition Sporsbet sponsored so you know what to expect and I am happy to inform that we have agreed to lunch its big brother. All the details coming over the weekend. Be sure to join, places will be limited and this one will be big Smiley

World Cup competition you mean like with quizzes and H2H with fellow bastards? I love that! Consider me joining, I don't mind a big fee (well not so big but I think I remember in the feedback I was willing to pay a bigger amount even than in pool) especially since I seem to waste all my weekly earnings back into the casino again lol, might as well play La Liga long term contest and see if I do better than in Superbru.

We have to try and get new players in from Premier League and Champions League pools also!

Anyway I really like what Xavi is doing, this Barca looks much more direct and vertical then Barca of old. They are also good in getting the ball high up the pitch when lost which helps a lot.

Yeah, reminds me I haven't seen them in a stretch either but I really thought they are back to being pleasant to watch, even when they're punting the ball up for Lewie, they've gotten more aggressive at battling for possession in air (Pedri and Gavi even with their height!).

I didn't watch the game without Torres or Lewandowski (against Girona) so I didn't see how they played with Fati (who's always better on the wing I think) but with the proper squad, it does look entertaining.

Definitely have to make time for next Clasico, though probably less important is the Copa one -- be awesome if they're still this close in standings come 19 March.
This championship should be on Barca to loose. They aren't playing in Champions League so they can even rotate much more than Real and they already have an advantage. If that isn't enough they look better on pitch as well. It can all change in the game like Clasico though but Barca has one hand on the trophy already.

Bilbao with big win today. Did not expect a game with so many goals, I guess it will be a bunch of pointers in the pool.

Barca is already on +8 after win over Betis last night, so Real has to win as well, and Valencia will need to pursue chances against rivals from bottom part and secure La Liga for next season
I have actually watched whole Barca match yesterday, probably first time this season since I always just get glimpses and they don't really show you everything.

I feel like Valencia could become good bets at this point forward?

not so sure, Voro is a solution that is always available for interim (speaks about his potential, he cannot get position in other clubs Sad)
but we will see tonight, Real has an easy win on their hand, even odds are welcoming on them

In other news, Valencia sacked Gatusso.

yeah, back to Voro again, maybe he will have more matches this time as interim, not sure that there is anyone on sight as new coach
one point above relegation zone is really low point

and for a start could not be worse, playing Real in Madrid, interesting though, both delayed matches are replies from Super Cup semi-finals

Always thought guys like Gatusso are great leaders on the pitch but his bulldog style is maybe not so suitable for bigger teams. Of course you never really know with managers, players, clubs, sometimes it's all about the chemistry. Simeone would never make it at most other clubs I think.

I know you don't want to hear it but I don't think any of the clubs are actually afraid playing against Liverpool at the moment. In fact this is the best time to play them in last couple of years since attack is missing chances while defense is almost criminal.

Barca should have an advantage in Copa del Rey, but as usual I will probably skip over ML and go for both to score. Always good when these 2 meet, except in Mourinho era.

Villarreal playing at the moment and having the initiative but not able to score just yet. Should be their game for the taking in second half.

I don't but I hear it. It's been a while since I had to concede to our poor form but it had to come sooner or later. As I'd said even several ties we had, if I weren't Liverpool, I'd be betting against them regularly. Brighton odds were not even 27/01 on the last game -- that's an accurate assessment.

I'll take Barca ML tentatively but yeah need to see how they both do in UCL and Europa.

Well, we will have 2 more guaranteed El Clasico games, rather than one in the final. Offcourse, it would be better to get Osasuna or Athletic, but I don't think that current Barca fears of Real. It's sad that Dembele who played amazing recently will have to miss first semifinal game.
For Osasuna or Athletic, it's good chance indeed. It's more likely to beat Real or Barca in single game than in two legs of semifinals.
BTW, agree with Trofo, current Liverpool is just a shadow of that great team in past seasons.

Yeah, Dembele sad, for me Ansu Fati also seems to not be hitting his peak, he's been long my Barca favourite (not that I follow much).

Totally taking Osasuna/Athletic in the final though!

Villarreal surprisingly lost to Rayo and nobody from us haven't saw this outcome.

Including me, in betting. This was my last won freebet from Sportsbet, I chose Villareal without learning my lesson, thinking my luck would remain the same after Barca took victory from Girona. Chukwueze seems to be the best player without producing any goals, but I think we should blame Setien for this one, as he was praising Rayo before the game, saying they were one of his favorite teams lol, while Villareal winning the way they were for several games gave them lots of confidence.

"Nice" fixtures next. Rayo go to Almeria, Villareal go to Elche...

But can't blame them alone, I missed even bigger "easier" wins in basketball.

In other news, Valencia sacked Gatusso. Nothing surprising, but for me even appointing him looked questionable decision. But probably nothing shouldn't surprise us from Valencia, after they had Garry Neville as their manager.

So Clasico's confirmed, although it won't be the grand finale for Copa del Rey, I think a semifinal meet is just as good. Real will have gone off meeting Liverpool first so this game's in between the Last 16 legs... not sure if it's a good thing at all, but I suppose only worth placing bets after the Liverpool result.

Great chance for Osasuna/Athletic to get their hands on a trophy, though!

Well another round goes and im still in the bottom of the chart.

I really dont know why and how im doing so bad this year/season in this pool and also in Serie A, all my hopes go to the EPL pool.

I think my sittuation here is like the Sevilla one , the past year fighting for top spots and this one fighting in relegation zone.

Sevilla were never going to stay in bottom for too long, it would have been the collapse of the decade, especially with such an immense keeper at the back who also had a good WC.

Not that we will start betting on them again lol.

Real Madrid, may they continue to slump like this for a bit more at least until we have a very healthy 15 point cushion!!

I might be the only Barcelona fan that doesn't want Real Madrid to do our dirty job for us, I know we all probably want the league so bad and however the hell it happens doesn't seem to matter, but I believe it is going to be pretty way much earned if Barcelona should go all the way to win the league by winning against Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, so I'd rather see the league still pretty much opened until then and that will surely keep the team on their toes, we've scored the 2nd most league goals this season, just a goal shy from the most and we've conceded just 6 goals too, that's less than half of what any other team has managed so far. So, I'd rather we just keep up with our end of the task than hope Real Madrid does it for us.

Real didn't managed to beat Real Sociedad and score against them. Watched only last 10 minutes and it seemed that Sociedad only tried to keep score 0:0. Even on attack, they didn't tried to make somethingg dangerous, just kept ball for longer to waste some time. Already +5 in Barcelona.
Must mention that unbeleavable Inaki Williams 251 consecutive La Liga games run ended today, as he missed game with Celta because of injury. He haven't missed any games since 2016! This guy isn't getting enough credit.

Elche its going straight forward to the LaLiga2 its incredible how they are going deeper and deeper.

Only 6 points in 19 games what a disaster, and when i see them playing they dont play that bad, they are similar to another teams in the relegation zone, but seems like luck its not in his side.
Good point about them, Elche had so many close games when they lost 0:1 or 1:2. But already after half of season they have no chances to stay in La Liga. Now Sevilla after 2 wins in a row finally left bottom, but  now there is just 5 points between 11-19th places.

Ya thanks! So I finally made some profit from Barca, I shared earlier it Sportsbet ANN thread, and it does look nice to see the cushion growing. This was an important game because we actually didn't have our normal fire up front but so good to see our forwards got to rest a game and cleared their suspensions. But Dembele injury we all hope has no longterm impact.

Then they should be fine because luck runs only last a number of games. It's when you play badly that you should be worried about. Elche, the conquerors of big teams, can't get points on lower teams, seems like how things go!!

If i understand you correctly, i think the same way its gonna happen, its gonna arrive the matches without pressure to play from Elche and then the wins.

Oh no, i read again and understand , well when i say its not playing bad but also they are not playing good. And in case you play good and always lose, its worst than ever because you dont know what to fix and start thinking about luck and curse.

^ Ya saw that, well done, at least someone is not miserable today.

Funny enough, I saw that I actually had Sevilla in one of my tickets, so that passed happily as the first leg. Honestly can't remember ever doing that, it's been ages since I counted them to serve me up anything, so it's a weird accident I'm pleased for.

Meanwhile, Valencia did as expected, and Atletico slim win, business as usual in La Liga Wink
