quite a round, and United was really drawned at their own stadium
we fought a big win against West Ham, DCL scored his 50th goal for Everton, but it will all be non-important if Everton gets 12 point deduction, which is proposed

hard to believe that we can be 12 point above relegation line, but not impossible task

West Ham showed total misery in performance yesterday without removing anything to Everton who totally deserved the win and it is becoming a very bitter team when playing away from Goodison Park as most of their victories during this season are when playing away.

With this performance from Everton I don't think it will be that impossible to be 12 points above relegation zone, they just need to keep building on this momentum and the results will surely come.

Congrats on the yellow cap, put it all on United and Chelsea next game Wink

I totally agree LFC_Bitcoin, People are writing about Spurs being historical (but they robbed you a 3 pointer), Arsenal being title challengers, even Newcastle despite them dropping many points but weirdly not much expectation of Liverpool. I think they need to see Liverpool beat City, Arsenal first...

£1 billion spent under four managers in a single year does not seem like a project to me; it sounds like an experiment gone bad. Who cares about a 7-year contract when the wages they receive is based on team performance? If you gave these jerks another season, we'd have more managers than points.

I didn't know this about Chelsea at all. I know most teams give you bonus on performance, but not salary on performance. So are you saying like all these figures are wrong? And how do they know how much they get? What if manager never plays them or they get injured, surely they must know their basic salary like any normal job and not rely on bonuses?

@jayce Im rooting for you to be consistent this season. Well you know that you flop abit after halfway of the season so if you could be atleast consistent and get that top 3 spot atleast than that would be a good ( considering that you'll need decent amount of cash next year, you should try your best in all those competition lol  Roll Eyes )
...

Haha yeah, referring to the last year which I was quite good in the first half of the season, and then I went down to 21st in the end! Just couple points away of the rewarded spots Grin Hope this season be nice to me, and yeah I indeed need monies for my plan next year. Thanks for reminding me to be more serious in this tourney lol.

About the last night game, I know Man Utd is not their best shape, but oh man that was humiliating. Have no idea why I ended up favoring them to win the league Cheesy I know it's just a free bet, but still..

Liverpool is doing very well, especially when you consider that their squad is certainly no better than last year. But the other clubs (especially the Spurs) are also holding up much better this year, but perhaps it's also due to City's weak season. By the way, as expected, City beat Man Utd easily today.

Although a lot of people would have thought this at the beginning of the season, I feel that many think differently now.
Our new midfield is way more creative and dynamic, and Firmino wasn't playing that much anyway so his minutes are easily replaced.

This Liverpool feels much better than last year's and at this point I'd say that we're looking at a team that is upgraded by a lot. Szoboszlai for example is a player who I've wanted for a very long time - pure class in the heart of our midfield that can last 90 minutes of high tempo every game.

Another win for Liverpool, just quietly going about our business. Only 3 points off 1st place, other teams getting all the plaudits but not pulling away from us.

I quietly fancy us to have a really good season. Confident that we finish no lower than 3rd, we’ll see what happens though. Luton away and Brentford at Anfield next. Just keep winning games and let’s look at the league table in New Year.

I can put it on an 1.60 odd if I remember correctly the minimum odd from Sportsbet for the free bets  Grin.

I think it is minimum of 1.5 odds on freebets though. Aside from that, the btc/usd value that we paid on the start of the tournament is lower compared to the current value so yeah we are getting higher amount in terms of fiat

I think I'm this round's yellow cap.

Grats mate

Both joca97 and jayce had a good round too, so I didn't even close the gap to the top spots.

Congrats on the first yellow cap of the season which is also the equal to get the money back as the entry fee
No; that's not true.
The entry fee was 2.5 mBTC and the Yellow Cap reward is a 3 mBTC Free Bet.

I am very glad to be wrong here, this is crazy 100 dollars free bets for the yellow cap, that is freakin awesome to say the least,I completely had forgotten the entry fee as I thought it was 0.002 Bitcoin while I see it is 0.0025 Bitcoin. So he got even more than he put in to participate in all the fun this pool gives, that simply is wonderful.

I am hoping now to win a yellow cap in these 75% weeks left to be played as that is a huge amount for the free bet,I can put it on an 1.60 odd if I remember correctly the minimum odd from Sportsbet for the free bets  Grin.

I think I'm this round's yellow cap. It's my first one in multiple seasons, what do I get? Grin
Congratulations.

Basically a terrible round to be yellow cap at - so close between all of us and it made me climb only 1 position.
Both joca97 and jayce had a good round too, so I didn't even close the gap to the top spots.
You replace me in 6th place, so that is progress in a very tight season.
I will be coming back for my spot next weekend or maybe a higher one  Cool.

Still - it's good to keep the consistency. 25% of the season gone and I'm quite happy with how it's going so far.

Congrats on the first yellow cap of the season which is also the equal to get the money back as the entry fee you will receive now a free bet from Sportsbet our sponsor and that is a great feeling. On the round though I see that most people did reasonably well as I see nothing has changed from me to the 10th place which is just 5 points difference between 16 places in the standings. This shows that this pool is really close and as you say just 25% has gone and we have triple that amount before we reach the finish so consistency is key to keep us in a prize spot when this ends.

Move on man! It's not our fault if Caicedo turned down your project in favour of ours. The team is in a rebuilding period, similar to what Liverpool and Arsenal went through a few years ago. You were both midtable teams for who knows how long.

We're working on a project, and if it doesn't work out, we'll send these kids to Saudi Arabia right away.

After almost a billion spent on them, you'all are going to send them to Saudi Arabian league ?, I thought the essence of the modern era slavery of a contract offered to these players was just so as too have them for very long and even if things doesn't workout the right way from the beginning they'll all have 7 years+ of worth of time to find out an effective chemistry.  Grin Grin Grin

How long does "rebuilding project" last at Chelsea? And after 2 or 3 years of max spending (or maybe more) isn't it already time to say that it's not working?

We started the rebuilding process late last season and this is the first full season but the progress isn't looking good.

I would be very happy to be a modern slave if it means I can sign 5 years, go for all training, play 20% of games and still keep my job paying millions a month, even when my team keeps losing.

I guess all those players got smart and are in a great position.

They lost huge % amount of their salaries last season due to poor team performance and by the time they finishes their contract they would be earning less than J. Felix

Hello! My name is Chelsea. Come to my crib to take 3 points any time. We have lots of expensive furniture that does something right every now and then but in general, feel free to come in and break them =)

Caicedo must be wondering what the hell happened. This wasn't even a sucker punch. Brentford actually deserved the win!

As long as players do not perform Saudi Arabia is a nice place to go to play as both the team and player will be rewarded immensely financially speaking.Even if the player does not like the quality of the teams and the league there since there have been some years they are playing in high level leagues so they that their chance,in this context I agree with this move.

As for the rebuilding project I have start to see some sort of improvements since Pochettino came to work his magic in the team and overall during the season I only predict increase in performance.

The main problem for CHelsea its not this game, is the 5 incoming matches, they can go out of that raid in a very very bad shape and in a worst position in the tournament. I think Pochetino can be in a risk position if him cant find a solution in this nearby time.

Brentford does it again, I think this is their 3rd consecutive win at Stamford Bridge. That alone is telling so much about the worst 1 billion dollar team in football's history.
I wonder what happens next there - will they keep pushing this or will they change strategy? If they change it, who will take all these players on lucrative 7-year contracts?

I have never seen such incompetence on a elite sports level. I feel that an average kid with Football Manager would have put together a much more balanced team with more quality.

Brentford shocked again Chelsea and i was thinking that Chelsea was gonna win since they are on a good run but with this loss everything falls in the water. I dont know how they can offer such large contracts its just insane they just went for it to buy superstars and not put a tactical team that will benefit the squad
