Another big weekend of football and the three favourites for the title have tough games. Man City travel to Brighton, Arsenal have a difficult game against Chelsea away and Liverpool entertain Aston Villa at Anfield.

I think Liverpool really have momentum right now. Aston Villa are in a little bit of bad form, I’m hoping Liverpool punish them with a commanding win.

Arsenal could easily drop points away at Chelsea who are much better with Maresca. Man City won’t have it essy against Brighton either. Fingers crossed one of, if not both drop points and Liverpool pull further clear.

I'm still not sure why he's leaving Sporting Lisbon to join unstable Manutd, where he'll be fired in less than 18 months time. Is it for the money or for the ambition of managing in the EPL?
Once glimpsed reading the news that Amorin had been an assistant coach during the Mou era at Man United at that time he did not yet have a coaching license from EUFA.
Now that he is taking on the challenge of an unstable club, he may want to manage a club in the Premier League.
This will be a big PR for Amorin, at least Amorin's career at Braga and Sporting CP was never bad.

There's no justification for celebrating against former clubs and fans it's a pussy behavior and only few stupid players who knows no loyalty does it.

There's, especially when you were treated badly by the club, I don't feel mad when former players celebrate against their former club instead it should motivate the current players to do better. I see lots of ex Chelsea player scored against us when they play us. They mightnt be scoring but immediately they get to play against Chelsea they get to score and I wont be mad if they celebrate. Take someone like Osimhen that wasn't treated with respect at Napoli after everything he game to them and made them relevant again after winning them the Serie A, you want to tell me that he's a stupid player if he choose to celebrate scoring against them?

For the money buddy, who isn't going to take that salary that United is offering and a future potential compensation when they pay you off to go for another manager after few years. Also, he'll be getting the publicity of the premier league and get to compete with some of the best managers in the business. Lets not forget that any small accomplishments that he achieve with United gets him more praises and that's good for his career.

They said he was given an ultimatum, join now or never get the opportunity. He has probably scouted teams he will like to coach and did not see them sacking their managers at the end of this season, so he had to take the available opportunity.

A big boast for his career but the way Sporting Lisbon are playing, he was always going to get good offers in Europe, leaving a team in the middle of the season like that is not fair to the club and the fans, obviously he's leaving for the big bag and I hope he doesn't end up like ETH

Vini does not actually have that many goals and assists, not world beating numbers. Anyone who won would have been deserving of the award.

It's funny how everyone ignored Bellingham after all he did last season while Vini was lying in the hospital; he single-handedly won the league, in my opinion.

I hope Vini understands how vital Rodri is to this Citeh team right now; football isn't just about goals and assists; you also need someone to make tackles and mark. This weekend, Citeh's misery could get even worse.

That was a beautiful goal and deserved the celebration tbh  Grin. He also appreciated the United fans afterwards still and has scored against them without celebrating which goes further to show that may have been in the spur of the moment.

Amorim gave United an early present before he joins and I am sure a lot of their fans will be excited to see him take charge and bring his philosophy.
City face Brighton this weekend after 3 defeats consecutively in 3 different competitions, surely they cannot make it 4?

This is Ronaldo celebrating against United, showing his abs to the fans https://youtu.be/ri6GyANMKFA?si=VSEeNgZzaxx1lvij now imagine Henry celebrating like that after scoring a banga against Arsenal.

The move to City was overstated by the media and I have not seen Ronaldo celebrate against United. Those two points does not show the does not appreciate the club and definitely ETH does not have the class of Ancelotti.

His move to City failed because City wanted a free transfer deal while Juventus insisted on €25m, dude was also offered to Chelsea before Clearlake Capital went against it. Todd Boehly wanted him. United was his last option.

There is no guarantee that he did not try that, but he was treated too poorly from the start and the club chose to back the coach every time even though he was wrong a lot. De Gea also takes digs at him, and with the issue with Sancho, not only one player had an issue with his ego.

ETH is terrible at player management, without a doubt, but I prefer managers that don't shit to themselves - ETH obviously told Ronaldo that he wasn't in his plans; this happens all the time. I expected Ronaldo to be professional and move on. Both were wrong at some point

Legend who only signed for Manchester united after his move to Manchester city failed ?

Legend who celebrated a goal against united in front of Manchester united fans at old Trafford?

He does not appreciate the club, and everyone will not be like Ancelloti; he is a Real Madrid legend, not a Manchester United legend BTW.

What he said was nothing but the truth, but he said it to the wrong ears, which was the problem. Granting an interview to talk about how bald your employer is does not show respect. Go to his office and talk shit to his face and bang the door on your way out; that's how real men react at work when their boss is putting shit on them.

Ronaldo certainly was and is bigger than ETH at the club.
In an interview last season, Ancelotti said he cannot ask Modric to warm up, except he is absolutely certain he is going to play, that's how you show respect to legends at a club. ETH had no clue how to manage big name players and was the one who actually put his ego above the club.

What shit did he say or rather what did he say that was factually wrong?
Go and read up how the club kind of did not believe him when he needed time to grieve.

Got fired by his employer for nasty behaviour; it's standard practice; we shouldn't pretend as if ETH has the authority to fire a player; no player is bigger than the club or the manager; if he feels you should be substituted into the game in 90+ minutes, you have no say as long as they're paying your wage.

If you're my employee and you go around talking shit about my workplace, I'm going to fire you; if you have an issue, come to me first. Crazy how you brought his son's death into this...really?

Enzo to me has been one of our best players this season- haven't you noticed that we've been struggling to create chances in the midfield since Lavia came into the lineup ?

We struggling because we're playing two defensive midfielders but I'll prefer them to Enzo. For Chelsea, I don't think he's a creative midfielder, what creativity has he brought to the team. How many goals, how many assists okay lets talk about him at the midfield, sure he has upgraded from how bad he was before but still gets little impact for his price tag. I'm hearing rumours of him leaving soon ( The Sun report that La Liga leaders Barcelona and Serie A champions Inter Milan are both monitoring Fernandez's situation). Don't you think we'll be better off without him not minding we taking a loss for this one.

Horrible round for me to say the least.

One of my worst too. First I missed the Arsenal game prediction as I thought I have done that, then dropping 2 points on the leaderboard. All hopes aren't loss though as we still have lots of games left to be played and an opportunity to get to the top of the leaderboard. For now lets enjoy the champions league games about to kickoff.

I was really close to getting the yellow cap for the first time this season. If Brentford hadn't lost the game in the last minutes yesterday, I would have won the yellow cap.  Cry  To be honest, Fulham deserved to win the game. Brentford played very badly after taking the lead and deserved to lose.
My prediction for that match was 2-2 and if I had hit that prediction, I would have won one of the yellow cap in that round. I never thought Fulham would score two goals in the 90+ minutes, and after those two goals, I was expecting Brentford to score to hit my prediction. I feel really sad that they didn't

Hopefully, I can get  yellow cap in the next matchday. You too, CLS63! lol By the way, if you don't mind, what's your Superbru username?

I do not think Ronaldo disrespected anybody. He was honest in his assessment and there was too much internal issues to blame any one person. He was treated poorly after his child's death, brought on in the dying minutes of a match like a teenager looking for game time and lots more, but we did not get a complaint from him.
It will be something if Amorim turns the team around

There's a lot of deadwoods on big wages to be cleared, Amorim has a lot of work to do in January..

Congrats to Ulven for winning the Round 10 Yellow Cap
I thought we got 2 yellow caps this round  Cool

I didn't like how he treated Ronaldo, but ETH did what any coach would have done in his situation for disrespecting the club and fans. I like ETH, and his work at AJAX should not be disregarded; he was simply unlucky, and Manutd at this moment is uncoachable. IMO.

I really have no idea why everyone keeps making excuses for ETH. He was bad, treated players badly, ostracized a legend like CR7 and kept making excuses for each loss in every press conference. Poch was a different case, everyone was surprised when he was sacked cause it was obvious he was building a team despite the situation.

Enzo Fernandes missing that chance set up by Jackson was horrible from him, that dude isn't worth his price tag. Might just be one of the flops been protected in the Chelsea squad. I don't see anything he does.  Kudos to Caicedo for smashing in that volley. Sharing a point with United when we meet has become a norm.

Edu left Arsenal for two times Champions League winner Nottingham forest. Biggest upgrade to be honest.

I'm supporting Chelsea in this game, but because I like more players in that team now than the players for Manchester United. Rashford and Bruno Fernandes in the last 2 seasons really made me change my mind about their personality, for some reason.

Enzo can do it, don't worry.

He didn't, I won't blame him though for this one because I feel the players let him down. They reacted fast to conceding the goal by getting an equaliser in just 4 mins but that's only the positive thing I take from this game.

What the hell was Sanchez thinking, Hojlund couldn't have scored from that position so he would have just held his position and we won't have conceded that penalty. Maybe things would have turned out differently if Chelsea had scored first. Enzo Fernandes missing that chance set up by Jackson was horrible from him, that dude isn't worth his price tag.
