I have no chance to win the yellow cap again, as brainboss has already scored 13.5 points while I only have 10. If Tottenham had managed to win the game and not let Fulham score, I might still have had a chance to win the yellow cap. I guess that 1-1 makes Brainsboss to be on top 1 right now. Fulham got a red card in the 83rd minute, but Tottenham didn’t manage to score until the end of the match. I was hoping Tottenham to score in last minute to win.  Cry

Arsenal and Chelsea are ready to occupy the 2nd and 3rd but can we trust either Manchester united and Tottenham to occupy 4rd to push Pep down to Thursday game  in the Europa league next season.
Chelsea improved their game a lot. The team is young and it's paying off.  High voltage match next. Liverpool vs City. Fasten your seatbelt 😁

Arsenal are looking dangerous yet again....

Indeed. Arsenal are on fire, they're getting back all their people. Odegaard plus Saka wow. Just Arteta has to manage them properly, taking them off early was a good move, he will need them to scratch all the available points in December.

I don't think we can trust Manchester United or Tottenham, man. Good coaches but does not change their players are too volatile or too poor to rely on.

Maybe we have to count on Aston Villa instead, apart from today's game Smiley

Very sad from La Liga.

Here, only last game matters and its too late for me to stay up and watch but I think if your a neutral, then you must hope for Arsenal to win. And tomorrow, Chelsea to win. Otherwise its pointless to get City down so badly if you can't take advantage.

I think they will recover, win or lose tomorrow, but it would be nice to see if they don't get higher than 3rd this season. Or even better if they don't qualify for Champions League next season. How about it Gunners and Blues? Are you up for it?

I wont say a word about my results today in this pool  Cry
Arsenal went crazy today against West Ham with 5 goals, and I see nobody expected them to score more than 3 goals in superbru Smiley
This win works great for them after Brighton only played 1:1 with Southampton, and Man City is playing against power in form Liverpool.
I think this is a good chance for Chelsea to jump in the third place if they win tomorrow against Aston Villa.

Liverpool was outstanding in Anfield yesterday. Champions league title is unpredictable however I am sure we are not going to miss Premier League this season. @buwaytress, excited brother?
- We face next a City team who has never been this mentally shaken (on and off the pitch).
Let's forget everything. Only having this in mind and just playing our game will be enough to get a win in Anfield. We don't need to stress ourselves.

Of course I'm excited! I have an 8/1 bet on us to win the Prem!
Congratulations bother. I checked yesterday and it was below 1 and not worth it to freeze the money to wait that long. I hope the amount is fairly big that it's enough to have a holiday trip to anywhere in the world.

Give Mo his dough!
Agreed, although the stalling in the contact seems to be giving him an extra energy to prove himself on the pitch. However it is always best to give your best players a but of stability, season is almost half way gone and not even an offer yet for him to accept or reject. It has to come at some point, will make no sense to reject a big money move last season and then ship him for free this season. That is the sort of business they do at PSG, not Liverpool.

Speaking of PSG, why exactly were the Anfield crowd singling out Mbappe and Jude for boos? I know there were some links but not strong enough for it to be called a rejection, at least not for Mbappe. The links with Jude Bellingham were much stronger before he chose Madrid.

I agree. This will be the last extension by most standards, and while we hate overpaying and overstating (as it gives precedence), I think Salah deserves mo. And we deserve to have him see out the next 3,4,5 seasons on a high.

Give Mo his dough!

You guys broke the wage cap with Salah's last contract extension, and it appears that the next extension will break the previous record. As I stated before, Liverpool wants to keep him, but they are not willing to break another wage cap, and the Salah camp will not accept anything less than £400k/w, and Trent and Van D are still on their neck. You will almost likely lose one of these players as a free agent next summer, but the question is who.

Until now Liverpool have not offered a contract extension ... and like him Salah is a little upset why Liverpool are a little late? Is it possible they'll do it at the end?

Possible they will not- just use him and dump him after the season.

Give Mo his dough!

Agreed. The guy is an Islamic talisman, if he starts playing badly we'll always be able to toss him to Saudi Arabia for huge money.
It's such a bad business call to let things drag out - ffs, last year's offer from Saudi Arabia was like 130 million euros. If we didn't plan to extend, we should have taken that money then.

The worst thing for us is if Salah leaves on a free transfer, and there will be 10 offers to choose from - almost certainly all of them higher than Liverpool's.

Maybe the Champions League title is getting closer to Liverpool seeing the incredible game last night...
Now in the Premier League will be back at Anfield again against Manchester City, even we can win who will win.

It could be Liverpool's season. Grin

Premier and CL is possible only if the club start talking to Salah about contract extension, he's the engine of the team and needs some sort of assurance about his future, he's getting pissed up. I bet the club wouldn't want to ruin the fantastic season he's having. Give him the damn cheque.

Salah must be secured immediately, so that he is a little calmer... Before the SPL club comes with a bigger wad of money.

I'd promised my kid and others I would finally give Slot the green verdict after City's game at Anfield. Whether we win or not, I can already deliver 90% of that heh heh

Allow me to be the Devil's advocate and remind that yes we've won big games so far but:
- We drew to a weaker Arsenal
- We beat Leverkusen at Anfield, but they were shellshocked and out of sorts
- We beat Real also at Anfield, who were at half strength and missing our chief tormentor Vini
- We beat Chelsea but only because they had not yet settled down the way they have
- We face next a City team who has never been this mentally shaken (on and off the pitch).

We still needed to play well, for sure, and Slot's reserved approach has really appeared to save our energy levels, so I'll give him that but I feel like this is the season of confluence. The biggest teams are at their most vulnerable, while we are finding a way to overperform.

Of course I'm excited! I have an 8/1 bet on us to win the Prem!

I'm sure they will but at least they've got a bit of a buffer now. They'd be foolosh to step off the gas now though. City can easily catch up but the title should be Liverpool's this year as long as there's no fuck ups. I thought Klopp leaving would have an impact but obviously not.
You are right. The title is Liverpool's to lose now with the healthy point lead they have now and also the healthy goal difference lead. The closest to them in GD is Tottenham are they are all the way down in 6th place.
I am hoping they start having lots of those fuck ups and we stop having them, so we can get a chance to out up a real fight. 2 bad matches in row is all it takes to throw the title open again.

Slot has had the best start at a new club that I have seen.

Big surprise to see Ipswich getting a draw against Manchester United, but this was important point for them in survival race.

Not for me. I got that exact score right as did four others. I don't trust United at all these days and they're all the way down in twelfth place right now.

Nobody got any points from last nights game.

What is happening to City? I haven't watched any of the games this season but City have lost 5 in a row now, four of witch in the Premier League.

I expect Liverpool to drop some points in their 5 next EPL matches.

Yup, gave us a lifeline when we needed it the most. That handball for the penalty is ridiculous.
The wind may have had an influence but as a professional you should be able to read that. But as you said, it is only the points that count and Liverpool got 3 to extend their lead.

However - City looks terrible and if they don't win at Anfield the difference will remain big - if they lose it turns to 11 points. Arsenal doesn't impress me as well.
I got the closest glimpse last week to the title challenging Arsenal of last season and it felt very good to keep a clean sheet. If we can keep Martin and Saka fit, we can start to build some real momentum.

I expect Liverpool to drop some points in their 5 next EPL matches.
