Speaking about haaland stats, anyone noticed that guy is almost never caught offside. I know he has some calls but the amount of goals he has scored running from behind defenders and yet he still has less offside calls make we wonder what other strikers are doing that they get caught 99% of the time being offside.
Because he is the best at what he does and leaves nothing to chance. Those seem like small details but everything compounds. And in most cases it is just a matter of will and repetition.

I hate it when I see a corner, defender half clears the ball, and lazy bastards slowly walk towards their side of the pitch. Then someone returns that ball in and they are offside.

Where is Nunez anyway

Exactly where he needs to be.
Well, not really, back to Portugal or some shitty league is where I really hope he'll be soon, but this is good enough for me at this point in time.

A horrible player, and I knew it from the start. I hated that transfer from the moment I heard of it. a 20 mil euros player at best, and that is a stretch.

Where is Nunez anyway, why's he not playing?
Slot favors Jota over Nunez and I can see why. Jota offers more in terms of dropping into empty spaces and helping to keep the ball rolling. Liverpool is playing more controlled game and Jota helps them maintain that control better than Nunez who is an out and out striker.

That can be understood because after all, seeing the progress of previous opportunities when given in the Klopp era Nunez could not develop well in terms of performance and it is actually seen that for now Nunez is even difficult to penetrate the core line-up.
4 matches at the beginning of the season for Liverpool in the EPL he played 3 times and even then for substitutes where he was included in the 60th minute even for the first 2 matches he was included in the 70th minute, meaning that if calculated from the current playing time statistics for Nunez he decreased dramatically due to lack of slot confidence because Nunez still could not develop his performance at Liverpool.

stas by transfermarkt

3 matches and only given 52 minutes is clearly a comparison of the opportunities given this season and last season is very far for Nunez.

#You know what, if he doesn't play for Manchester City, he would do well at all Italian clubs.
He will do well anywhere he plays really.

But I think need to compare pure 9 vs pure 9, but couldn't find the rest.

You can compare him to Nunez - he's offside 6 times per half time.

Lol I didn't know that. But didn't you guys call him Master of Chaos, that's requirement. Nobody ever matches the Italians like Super Pippo tho, I remember one time he had something like 5 offsides in 10 minutes or something, in Champions League, but it was clear he did it on purpose because the defenders were so frustrated he kept on doing it. And they started pulling his shirt so he wouldn't make another offside, and got carded. Sometimes, some players are born to create such things Smiley

Where is Nunez anyway, why's he not playing?

But I think need to compare pure 9 vs pure 9, but couldn't find the rest.
His stats are very low when compared with other strikers like Nunez who has been offside 51 times for Liverpool[1] and Jackson who has been offside 32 times[2], so Jackson has been offside more than double the number of times Haaland has been despite playing one less season.

Pippo would be so proud of this guy. You know what, if he doesn't play for Manchester City, he would do well at all Italian clubs.

Gabriel Jesus numbers are also high (32) even though he has not played so many minutes this past seasons for Arsenal[3]

Haaland has perfected how to time his runs and still be at full throttle when the ball is played in, an actual machine.

What is 'para venture'? Are you using translator?

Let me help him out,

Manchester city were doing great without him and will still win games without him but Pep just need a dependable striker that he can count on to score goals that's why he bought him.

Pep isn't a coach that uses a typical striker before now for his games so Haaland injured or not, man city still wins games.

I guess he really was using a translator, thanks for teaching me a new word Smiley Really hate when the forum does this TBH!

Good notice about Haaland, I wondered if it was true and I saw his stats now: https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask?q=how+many+times+has+erling+haaland+been+offside+all-time

8 times in first season, became 6 times in last season and so far now only 1 time. I compared with Salah who has way more: https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask?q=how+many+times+has+salah+been+offside+all-time

But I think need to compare pure 9 vs pure 9, but couldn't find the rest. Salah has to be both winger and striker at times, so has less eyes to watch backline, while Haaland only has that pure job to do. Very impressive nevertheless, but it shows you that Haaland is single purpose machine that needs a lot of gears behind him. His performance in Dortmund, City, Norway over the last 5 seasons proves this.

Although if para venture Haaland is injured Manchester City would still win their games but won't have many goals in all games.

Haaland mostly builds premier league stats but the real win is with the team.

It looks like you fixed the result of the last four matches. Imagine if you know it was going to happen and staked some huge amount for the result of these matches. Overnight you could be a robbing the bookmakers LOL

Lol, it would be easily over 100x odds if I parlay all those. This is the moment where we all yearn the time machine to turn back time huh lol

That last 4 matches was really a lucky break for me this round. In fact when I checked my points after saturday games ended, I never would have expected to hit exact on the other two games as well. I was happy to collect 9.5 points by satuday and I thought it was good enough for a round with no research on the games at all

Very funny guy, I still don't get why he gets appointed to officiate Chelsea games, it's not more an agenda but a proven fact that he has something against Chelsea.

Unfortunately, the FA does not take fan pleas seriously; there is an evident agenda, but Chelsea would need to appeal to the FA with sufficient evidence of misconduct and bad officiating against him and hope it does not backfire. Anthony Taylor is part of the carbal, therefore it would be quite tough to get him out of the way.

You must have missed the memo mate, Haaland is a robot. And he got an upgrade this season. He is exactly like FIFA PC Zidane piroutte cheat. You could use the autokey for that move and even goalie can score goal from his box to the enemy box. What is 'para venture'? Are you using translator?

He could be using some some ass translator - a new member on the thread.

Congrats Arallmuus, 18 steps ahead is a good jump. I am not making a good progress, struggling at 41th position.

You just need to have a lucky streak of exact scores to help you climb the leaderboard.

As for my case, I was unexpectedly lucky....

I actually forgot to put in my prediction for the week and missed Southampton - Manchester United game. It took me less than 2 minutes to filll the rest of it because I was about to hang out and yeah my points were rubbish for the first 6 games then somehow hit 4 exact scores..... pure luck for some reason

Man Pep must be sleeping hard at night wondering what happens if Haaland is injured or gone.
Yeah, Pep is the man and Haaland is the tool. Every day that passes by I wonder if the dude was a robot programmed in goal scoring. If it were in video games i would say it is a cheat code or game manipulation. Although if para venture Haaland is injured Manchester City would still win their games but won't have many goals in all games.

I guess next City and Liverpool will lose and Everton will be top of the league again lol
You're right Liverpool are back on the brink after Nottingham Forest beat them at Anfield. And Manchester City are still being carried by Haaland. Grin

Brighton seems to have started to falter again? Against Ipswich still struggling even though they control everything and even more annoying is Liverpool in the Superbru Pot all guessed wrong.

Anthony tried all possible best to make more money to the FA - the new rules are joke -  refs can make a decision and players can't even react about it or speak to them about it. I miss those days when players would talk in faces of refs for being a pussy, now you dare not. Just play and don't speak.

Very funny guy, I still don't get why he gets appointed to officiate Chelsea games, it's not more an agenda but a proven fact that he has something against Chelsea.

Giving out 14 yellow cards on field was outrageous and I think he broke the record for the most yellow card to be given in the premier league game.

Glad we won this one and I was shocked we couldn't score more although glad we won because we almost lost points in this one. Still confused why all the praises was been given to Sancho from the match going fans or are they just trying to troll Manchester united. He still got the man of the match award.

The assists wasn't that great, it was the goal that came from no where that was great. Sancho winning the man of the match just made things worse for United fans, their players always turn out great for us when they switch to the blue side but we sell them flops. Good game overall and glad we got the narrow win.

3 exact scores is not lucky, you could have done it on the spin but they were great picks regardless. The 3 you got wrong were the most difficult to predict this round. Great job buddy.

The Newcastle game gave me my second correct score of last week and also was the final game in a bet I had, so it was a good finish to the match week. It did not help that almost everyone else got the correct score for that final game.

So, another year for me fighting in the top poistions of this pool in the early stages? First one ended up in second place losing it by one points, and the past season ended up in a disaster and outside the paid spots in the last rounds. How is gonna end this year?

I still have my hate to one team who always find the way to fuck my selections, and that shit team is Crystal Palace, what a peice of crap they are.
