I'm supporting Chelsea in this game, but because I like more players in that team now than the players for Manchester United. Rashford and Bruno Fernandes in the last 2 seasons really made me change my mind about their personality, for some reason.

Enzo can do it, don't worry.

He didn't, I won't blame him though for this one because I feel the players let him down. They reacted fast to conceding the goal by getting an equaliser in just 4 mins but that's only the positive thing I take from this game.

What the hell was Sanchez thinking, Hojlund couldn't have scored from that position so he would have just held his position and we won't have conceded that penalty. Maybe things would have turned out differently if Chelsea had scored first. Enzo Fernandes missing that chance set up by Jackson was horrible from him, that dude isn't worth his price tag. Might just be one of the flops been protected in the Chelsea squad. I don't see anything he does.  Kudos to Caicedo for smashing in that volley. Sharing a point with United when we meet has become a norm.

Injuries expose managers who lack backup plans, and Arteta clearly does not have one. When Poch and ETH had more than 5-10 first-team players out injured for the majority of previous season and began losing like shit, everyone was on their heels; no one realised the situation was difficult. Poch and ETH are not bad, just unlucky that's my point.
I really have no idea why everyone keeps making excuses for ETH. He was bad, treated players badly, ostracized a legend like CR7 and kept making excuses for each loss in every press conference. Poch was a different case, everyone was surprised when he was sacked cause it was obvious he was building a team despite the situation.

Performing with a fit group of players shows you are a good coach, struggling with a depleted team does not expose the coach, it is just being unlucky as you said.

I should also add that our injury list (from first team players) is not that long and more importantly, they are not long term injuries, every team has players that pick up knocks each week. We have just been bad in key moments of matches, like the draw to City, Brighton and Liverpool.

I'm kinda glad we lost against Newcastle as it makes this game more important to be won than before although this week (today games) has been just weird, City losing, Arsenal losing, draws everywhere and it's just making me rethink my predictions for tomorrow. I don't want to believe that Man U can hold us to a draw but there are possibilities. New manager bounce not going to help them tomorrow, we aren't getting a defeat against this weak United. It would actually be shameful that we (Chelsea) go to old Trafford and bottle this one.

This is going to be our third big game this season, we have lost two already (against City and Liverpool), losing against united tomorrow will make me doubt/question Enzo qualities for real.

Weird week for sure, but we only had 2 draws, which I feel like is normal every week must be around 2 draws in EPL. I feel like its higher in Serie A and La Liga.

Newcastle odds were 35/10, Bournemouth were a shocking 5/1 -- why I didn't take those bets. Still upsets, for sure, but the odds were stacked less against them than they usually are (Bournemouth, in particular, outshot City 6 to 2 at some point before the equaliser!).
I actually had bets for City to win after they were 1 down. They had to whole 2nd half. But when they conceded the 2nd goal I realized there are no life for my betslip. Liverpool own but it was a double slip.

However, I am happy that we are 2 points ahead than City. Still the whole season ahead but I hope we have something now to look forward and play each game carefully.

I can't decide the winner in the Chelsea match LOL however we know Igebotz is looking forward to all 3 points.

Change of manager could affect final score but I cant see any way for Man United to with this match.
They have several missing players, and Chelsea has much better team and goal scorers.
Maybe van Nistelrooy enters as substitue to score goals  Grin

What do you think about Chelsea match tomorrow? A draw or another upset?

A better time to break the old Trafford curse - there's no better time than now eh... It's going to be a bloodbath but not for us..

Injury crisis does not expose a manager, it is a difficult time for anyone and one that will affect performance, look at City without Rodri.
About the transfer market, we did terrible business. How did they let Eddie go and leave Jesus, sold ESR, loaned Fabio and brought in Sterling, plus a defender, which was the department we least needed reinforcements in.

Arteta does not deserve both Eddie and ESR, treated them like shit. Happy for both now..

@buwaytress don't bank on us at Old Trafford Padi.

Really hoping it’s a comfortable win for Liverpool today, we need to keep up the pressure on Arsenal and Man City.
It was not that comfortable but they managed to win, and it goes in their favor after both Arsenal and Man City surprisingly lost their respective matches.
This was a really tricky round for predictions and fight for the EPL title is more interesting than ever.
If someone told me that Nottingham would be in third place after ten rounds I would never believe them.

Chelsea and United? Odds are even, there is no upset here unless it's 5-0 either way...

Great goal from Salah - give him the contract, those are the individual brilliance that get you trophies.
A day with great upsets. Arsenal to lose with Castle, City just lost with Bournemouth, Liverpool was close but thanks to Salah again. 2 goals 3 minutes turned the match around. It's a big day for us, point table leader, what else we could expect.

But yeah, we could have and probably should have lost. We don't have our best keeper, we had our best CB pairing disrupted, I was almost expecting a day of dropped points when our closest rivals lost. Salah, as always, the difference. Ignore his age, he was a late bloomer, his full bloom will last many more years.

What a strange day in Premier League. I think I missed all my bets today except both to score in Leicester game. Jury is still out on Wolves, they have a couple of minutes more to get me the win Smiley Wolves defense with Sa in the team looks tragicomic.

Didn't watch Liverpool but City and Arsenal were really poor today. They lost fair and square.

Lack of squad depth and Arteta not having a backup plan will ruin this season again, he doesn't know how to manage a club with injury crisis. He was very lucky last season not to have injury crisis but things are looking a lot different now and he's getting exposed.

Manchester City are in complete disarray; they don't deserve to win the league this season, and if they do, we might as well rename the league after Pep.
City have been able to recover from slow starts in the last few seasons, they could do it again. It is us who are out of the race.

Arsenal without a shot on target. Really composed Newcastle performance, they deserved the points today.

2 seasons ago, our strength was our attack with everyone getting goals, last season we had a solid defense to compliment it. This season, we have had a shaky defense and a not so sharp attack. I would have liked to see more players come in during the last window.

Both big teams are in pressure. City behind one goal with Bournemouth and Brighton is pressing Liverpool. Can they recover? While I don't want City to get all three points but for us if we can score a few goals and win from behind then that will be great.

Arsenal without a shot on target. Really composed Newcastle performance, they deserved the points today.
With a win today for LFC, it's a 7-point gap in front of them and only City as serious contenders for the title.

Yes, I know, way too early to start with the calculations.. But I'm really surprised with the season so far, especially without any signings. Not counting mostly injured and always horrible Chiesa.

I think Arsenal will win today, Saliba is back and Saka will be fitter than last week with another week training.

Newcastle will start fast and furious, it won’t he easy but if I was betting on it, I would go for a narrow Arsenal win.
Not going so well so far. Not just the scoreline, we are not playing very well, pressing poorly allowing Newcastle play around them and not being able to play around the press that is put on us.

I hate early kickoffs, they are usually very tricky just like Friday match-days. Would have been great if we were close enough that winning will take us up to second or first lace, but as it stands we just put little pressure on the two teams above us and we really need to beat Newcastle with the form they are in.

I do not want to look below us. Failing to win could mean Villa or Chelsea could leapfrog us, but at least they got tough opponents to play too.

Arsenal and City have, on paper at least tougher games against Newcastle and Bournemouth, both away. Hopefully one of them drops points.

I love the early games! People like me can watch them like normal without zombifying life Wink Am I wrong or is the first game the best of all? No no I didn't forget Manchester United - Chelsea but we all know one of that 2 is a shitty team and it is wearing red Wink

Erik certainly would have won against Leicester City if he was still in charge, because Leicester City are terrible and there is nothing to see here. The real test for Ruud would come against Chelsea, not Leicester City.
I am not so sure about that.
Players wanted to see him out, and Manchester won only one time in last eight matches from all competition.
Leicester is not a world class team but they managed to score two goals against Man United, that tells you something.

Exactly man and Leicester still won 2 games in last 5, not so different from United. With a much older and weaker team. ETH games were 50/50.

Amorim games, gonna be 50/50 too, for this season. His teams do well because they are his exact team. I'm not sure about Manchester United players, if they can take the style he needs.
