What's good about starting very low is that these's a high probability of you going up and up in the future. Smiley

I particularly didn't do so well this game round too, I ended up with just 7.5 points.

I'm not yet so worried about the leaderboard to be honest and I don't even pay much details into it, neither do I let the leaderboard cloud my judgements, I know all that would change as the season progresses and all users in the prize positions begin to get a bit conserved and there are even lesser picks for probable upset. I'm currently more focused on chasing well above average points for each game week.

Well, you are succeeding in that, mate. Smiley After moving 3 positions down

you are still on the 17th place. That's impressive, for me at least, who is on the 42nd place after moving 5 positions up. What pleases me is that we have traveled only through 6 rounds out of our 38 rounds long journey. Much can change within the next 2-3 rounds, let alone all of them.

what can I say, I already said few times that City will win this season easily, although did not expect to see Liverpool this bad
Yeah, I didn't think so. I thought Haaland would be injury prone like he has been in his career, and I thought they would miss Sterling to an extent. The opposite is true, and I've been made to look like a fool. Isn't Haaland on 12+ goals already? He's practically already won the golden boot at this rate, and City look to have already secured the league, apart from maybe Arsenal. However, going by Arsenal's injury rate, they'll soon start picking them up, and won't be able to compete.

regarding Superbru, you have "Round results", and there you can pick any round to check results in that particular round (it is a drop down many, first from the left)
Cheers for that. I found what I was looking for anyway, round 6 last round. I was fourth which isn't bad, seems like I'm starting to pick it up. I've actually had some decent score predictions which have landed, it's just other games that I've predicted wrong, and end up having zero cancelling out my exact predictions.

Round 6 I got zero from the Liverpool game, and Bournmouth as well as the City game, and Arsenal. I went for a draw on the City game hoping that could potentially net me some points others wouldn't get. Obviously, City are on fire so probably won't be doing that again.

What I'm afraid of is Man City winning the league super early, and then it just takes the fun out of it. I'd much rather a competitive league, where it goes down to the wire. There's more drama, and fun to be had.

I'm not that good with SuperBru, how can I see the previous round's high/low scores? I noticed hilarious had the wooden spoon, but I wasn't going to rub it in, honest Wink.

I'm not doing great, but on the other hand I'm already doing better than last year....so result? I'm probably going to learn my lesson, and actually predict Liverpool to draw, and lose from now on, however I had a decent week last week, and find myself roughly mid table. I can live with that. I'm starting to get a feel for the forms of teams. Arsenal, Man City looking the early title contenders to me, which I'm definitely surprised by Arsenal. Nice to see though. Tottenham, and Chelsea are looking something between poor, and mediocre.

everything is so quit around here, eh? but no more,

Breaking news! 🚨🚨 "Chelsea Football Club part company with Thomas Tuchel"

possible replacements (rumours): Graham Potter or Pochettino.

Pochettino...... Really?. i think doesnt match with Chelsea mentality. Graham Potter.... can be a blind bet first time in a big team... i like him and how Brighton plays, its really solid, but..... you know in big teams you have big players with a lot of ego.

The only good its now Tuchel its available for other teams.

I really don't believe Tuchel dismissal was down to Chelsea's early struggles , I strongly believe there are a number dressing room crisis to go with this, and you can tell from Tuchel's gesture on the sideline too in recent weeks too.

Pochettino would be a really good choice imo, he's very familiar with league, but what I'm not certain about is if he's can meet up with the pressure and what's expected of him as a Chelsea coach.

I think he deserves it after that pathetic performance of yesterday against a team that plays in much weaker league than the Premier League. They played really poorly in yesterday first encounter against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League and things were not well even before this game but this game put an end to everything.

From the two new possible replacements I would love to see Pochettino in Chelsea,he build a great Tottenham which are we now seeing the results of course without removing anything to Conte but the base was built by him.

For me it was a terrible weekend for pools and for cash betting: first I lost a multibet because of Bayern, then I re-entered and lost because of City and yesterday I ended up betting on the teams that I hate - PSG and Barcelona  Grin however yesterday they helped me to win back a significant part of the losses. And today United again presents a pleasant surprise  Cool Great end to the tour.

people keep underestimating Man Utd,, well don't mind me i'm just gonna keep backing them (:

First serious team Arsenal will play against, what could go wrong? lol too bad i couldn't get the 3 pts in our pool, that would've been the icing on the cake

Exactly. Arsenal are not the kind of team that is now capable of setting records (and 6 wins at the start would be a repeat of the record that only a few teams have managed to do in history). We must seize the opportunities while United are still underestimated. In the next round, 2.12 for United's away victory against Crystal Palace does not look so bad.

I got only 1 right from 10 games

and that prediction wasn't a rocket science, actually. 23 people from our pool preditced the same result. But overall I moved 5 postitons up, and I am very pleased with this.

I want to make an analogy to this statement and why it may very well come true in the future.I take part also in another pool, the F1 one and I started the first two rounds at the very last place,we are very few people there 12 in all and it is very difficult to move up,more difficult than in a pool with more than 60 participants, yet by being persistent now I am from 12th place to 5th place and with just 1.5 points distance to the third place.

What I want to say is to not worry we have still another 32 rounds to play and things will change dramatically until the end of the season,so as long as you are down like I am in this pool also chances are high that we perform better in the coming rounds.

I also from the seven games got only 2 right but luckily got one exact score and one close,Chelsea exact and Tottenham close the only results I got right.I never thought Liverpool to not win against a much weaker Everton but the biggest surprise for me was the win of Bournemouth that they turned things around in the second half from 2-0 to 2-3 and I considered them the worst team yet together with Leicester of the Premier League, now they are in mid table.

Manchester City I guess everyone will get a point as a minimum.

I think now no one will underestimate Manchester United since they are added to the title race because of only 3 points missing from the top of the standings for them. The reason people underestimated them is because they lost the first game at home and then they lost 4-0 against a weak-medium quality team soon after.Luckily for Manchester United the Liverpool game turned everything around for them and now they have 4 consecutive victories while 2 of them against title contenders, yes Manchester United is back at being a good team.

So Arsenal I believe is only strong against weak and average teams based on the performance of today. It looks like Manchester United just made 4 wins in a row and this is great news,I saw the match today and I think if they play like this will be a solid team even in the remote chance to fight for the title. It is not anymore that remote as a possibility as they are now just 3 points below the leaders which they just beat in tonight game.I guess from now on we are going to see the normal Arsenal we all know about,I only hope they keep their consistency and not go south from this lost game an onward.

Leicester just can't get a good result no matter against which team they are playing,I had Brighton to win and that happened even with a tennis score.

yeah, Leicester will fight to stay in Premiership this season, and that is now obvious, pitty for a team that won EPL few seasons ago, but these are different times, and they slided last season, with this season proved that slide was not temporary

that is actually great for Everton, one more in line for relegation, with Bournemouth, they need to let down one more team below them

Leicester just can't get a good result no matter against which team they are playing,I had Brighton to win and that happened even with a tennis score. After six games I have said a couple of times now that this team will fight for relegation or maybe it will get relegated because 6 games are not that a low amount of matches, out of 18 points they have got just 1 point and for me the number speaks better than thousand words in these type of situations.

The big game now left to be played, any result can happen but I hope that Arsenal wins in order to make a better gap to the followers.

Yeah, I think we really have to accept Rodger's going to get the sack, and I read a few days ago after United his comments, couldn't have picked a worse time to say something against the owners (who have, in all honesty, been extremely patient with him, though I do agree they could loosen the purse strings a little if they want more than Europa).

They have a lot of quality and should have got something from United, but this game they just let it all slip away after getting to HT letting 2 goals in. Criminal how they allowed Brighton to take shots all the way in injury time.

Also hoping for a Gunners win, got quite a lot of money on this game (which isn't really normal for myself but happy to take some wind out of United). Antony right into it and a slightly brighter start for United, but wish Maguire also was on the pitch heh.

Martinelli goal, man, I was SO close to putting him on my Betbuilder but decided Jesus was "safer". Was actually almost sure this would be the latest example of VAR and refereeing being much more lenient on physicality of EPL... but soft foul given and goal chalked off!

Man, good to see Iheanacho back and on the scoresheet. Thought he was actually quite good for the money against United. Doesn't help I actually have Brighton to win though oops.

Weird calls this season so far. I think if this season refs are supposed to have implemented a new rule to give the benefit of doubt back to the attacker (if lines overlap, it's not offside unlike last season), which explains why United got their winning goal against us (no complaints from me) then I really don't get how this weekend VAR intervened.

Oh and Coutinho should have won the game for Villa. But ref was so dumb he whistled even before anything -- there was absolutely no offside, worst call of the weekend? Or Mendy faking injury? Cause he didn't even clutch the part that brushed haha. UEFA is supposed to be punishing simulation more in UCL, Europa and Conference. Would love to see that.
