That is one of the greatest scores I have seen for a single round of 10 games at 19 points,I rarely if I ever saw this kind of score in the last season, sure we had scores above that but these scores were when we had rounds of more than 15 games.

Strange to see so many exact scores to him,he clearly has done an impressive round and is leading already comfortably since a single round.Nothing to worry for us mere humans,we have enough time to recover little by little  Grin.
Only problem, those bastards that get that many exact scores, get them all the time. Nothing to complain from my side though,  very happy with 4th position. It was a good day for me today culminating with exact score on City game.

Haaland looked dangerous, especially in combination with DeBruyne. I am seeing those two working together on many more goals this season.

Hi, neighbor! (I'm in 5th position) Cheesy
I don't think anyone will always guess the correct score and 19 points in this round is a random fluctuation that won't happen again soon. 30 points is the correct prediction for all 10 games with an accurate score - a very hard to hit this jackpot. 19 points is very close.
I was more surprised that some players managed to score 4-5-6 points  Grin

~ just saw current leader actually managed to get SO many exact picks. I hate him haha.~
LoL. Me too, I can't believe I'm this bad. I've always despised GW1. I did not have the expected start, as I was let down by Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Leicester, and Manchester United. It was a crazy week, especially the Leicester game where they blew a two-goal lead. On the log, I can't even see myself b Angry

Nothing makes me happier than seeing Manchester United fans who criticized Chelsea's game tactics yesterday after getting a tight result against Everton get battered by Brighton in ETH's first game.

Halaand is icecold!!!!! I've deleted my banter draft after that second goal.

What a pleasure to finally have PL running again, solid start by Arsenal as well.

Regarding the yellow cap, is it a freebet prize in every round or is it only for the highest cap throughout the season?

Looks like you won the yellow cap though it isn't showing so right now.

So I guess Ronaldo is back in the menu now?  Cheesy

He probably couldn't get a favourable deal with another club sorted out in time so was forced to stay. I'm sure he will leave as soon as he can as he obviously doesn't want to not play Champion's League football. The transfer window doesn't close until 1st of Sept I think so I think it's likely he will leave by then but for a player of his stature it's difficult to get a contract sorted and he's obviously going to command the biggest paycheques so that complicates things as well. If any team in the CL offers him the same wages that he's on now or maybe even a little less I'm sure he will take it.

Grin By the way, I can't figure out by nickname who is this forum user? Somebody knows?

Man Utd are 2-0 down at HT, at home, Erik ten Haag's debut, Ronaldo and Varane on the bench while and Maguire + McFred are on the pitch

LOOOL!
Thanks to the "phenomenal" (no) ideas of Ten Hag, I lost another multibet and now, in order to at least slightly compensate for the losses, I bet on City (which I don’t like)  Undecided
Coaches are changing, but United's game is not - it simply does not exist. Maybe something will change in other games but this game was very bad, worse than last season's games.

I think they have a lot of prospect and would perform better than they did last season, there just still seem to be some missing pieces for them to put together, especially in the attack, the midfield was quite okay imo, but they need explosive attackers on the flanks.

So how exactly can the explosive attackers score when you don't have Ronaldo playing?Maybe he would not have changed anything as you say because of the awful first half but what if he could have scored, then surely the fate of the game would have been another one.I can't or better words cannot express it enough how much I hate coaches like this one who thinks that he has the right to keep in the bench one of the best players and together with him another great player. This manager should not be at all surprised with the result of this game, all the blame to him for this awful performance by Manchester who didn't score a single goal, the goal given to them was an own goal from Brighton.

What was that? Manchester United had another very poor match right from the beginning of the season. It has just ended by Brighton's 2-1 victory in Old Trafford. They were really bad in the first half and it must be a huge shock for their fans. They tried something in the other half but it wasn't of any use. I don't know if Ronaldo would change the fate of this match if he was in the starting eleven. But he couldn't do much after entering the match in the first minutes of the second half as well.

In short, this team still need a big push somehow otherwise this season would be no different than the previous one.

An abysmal first half performance from Man Utd cost them the game, and there was no coming back from that for them. I really expected Ronaldo to start the game, but I'm not sure if that would have changed anything from what we saw from Man Utd in the first half.

Eric Ten Haag maybe he is not that good mentally if he keeps not only Ronaldo but also Varane in the bench.Maybe he thought this to be an easy game and also the debut so he thought why not win this without Ronaldo and make headlines? He made headlines but on the opposite part as all the blame will put to him for such loss.A lot of surprise results for the first week of the Premier League which shows this season is going to be much more excited than the last one,not so excited for me so far in the pool prediction but anyway when United starts with a loss is always headline.

LOOOOOL UNITED!

This is such a joke.  These guys are starting to be hopeless.  I mean losing the first league game at home?  Ten Hag looks calm but he's prolly having butterflies in his stomach right now and can't wait to give the hair dryer at half time.

Oh...  And the manager United should have hired is that guy managing the opposing side.  Graham Potter...  :/

That Brighton goal just put my Manchester United pick in trouble and am expectinga win from the home team,  I guess the left wing is doing the most for the Brightons and if they don't stop Trossard on that wing.. it won't be a good result this afternoon  Angry Comeon Red devils you can do better.

^  Haaland has to perform right?  I mean City had like chances left and right per match last season.  Haaland has to get like a couple of those at least and convert them into goals.  But I gotta say, West Ham has a good squad themselves tho.

Anyway I have like a parlay with draw no bet Leicester, draw no bet Man United and draw no bet Man City at 2.05.  It should win rrignt guys?  Lol.  Cheesy  I'm down for the day in the UFC.

Haaland to announce his arrival in EPL today? Or Moyes to be the special one? Heh.

Regarding the yellow cap, is it a freebet prize in every round or is it only for the highest cap throughout the season?
yellow cap prize is for each round, highest cap should be rewarded on the season end (not freebet, probably money spot additional to 20 spots)

Yeah, I think it's so far 18 spots, 20 if those who've committed will pay. Highest season cap gets any spillover prize from that (quote below is latest update)... just saw current leader actually managed to get SO many exact picks. I hate him haha.

Lets try to get 60 so we can have top 20. A couple of people have said they will pay so we should hit that. Any additional places will now just go towards a prize for the highest overall yellow cap (the highest weekly round score for those who haven't played before).

Arsenal started good, Tottenham as well
Liverpool lost first points unexpectedly, and Chelsea won over Everton with clean sheet

still more to come Hammers to City

One more point. I did gamble on the first match day last season on brentford to win their first game, incidentally against Arsenal who also opens the season. If I were not a Liverpool supporter I would take Fulham any day. Value odds!

West Ham over 8/1 and Brighton over 5/1 also feel value to me wink nudge.

Wtf?  Take Fulham to win against Liverpool?  You're not just saying that to get the pool noobs to pick Fulham to win, are you?  Lolol.

It's a long shot but I get how maybe West Ham could win at home.  And this is the genius Moyes..  A guy who could out fox even the great Guardiola.  But United to lose at home in the first league match of the season?  And against Brighton?  I mean maybe but Brighton would have to be more than what they were last season.

Told you, value bet on Fulham. Handicap Fulham was something like 14/1 at some point pre-match. Happy money to be made if you think about it, no one saw this result coming, and Mitrovic is a see saw guy, he'll ruin it for teams like Liverpool the way Pukki almost ruined it for Citeh 3/4 seasons ago.

Brighton and West Ham are my outlays today, ML, and why not, right? Wink

Who else disappointed by Villa? =(

Farewell LEO: o_e_l_e_o
I think have Liverpool to win on all my multibets, about 3 of them. I just never saw them not winning against more so a new promoted team, but then it is what it is..
Liverpool made it habit to stay confused in early rounds make the league difficult for them and then comeback strong to lose the league from very small margin. Let's hope they recover early in this season. I was expecting a huge win for them, at least a 1 - 3.

I personally lost 4 multibets  Cry
It's one of those days, you win all and expect the sure one is just about time to win, then they surprise you. Bookies need to make money 🤣
