That's a great value, If you ask me. This game should easily be a goal fest, Chelsea win/draw could also be worth it, looking at what is at stake for both teams. I went for a 2 - 2 draw in the pool, btw.

If you ask me we should stop betting on premier league for remainder of the season or try with some upsets. Latest results don't make any sense and if somebody is in profit, total respect. I am able to hit a bet here and there but it looks like an uphill battle. I will probably just play a bunch of over 2.5 goals bets for last round and hope for the best.

good value or what? the match today should motivate Klopp's squad to go back to being that good 'ol liverpool before winning the title, right? good chance for them to crush chelsea's european dream  Grin

@DeathAngel I kind of did a sucker bet on West Ham for about 11/1 and the penalty gave me high hopes but I think United should still edge this out after having levelled. No chances for the past 10 minutes though so maybe I get another lucky strike at the death, is Antonio on a purple streak or what?

@toma: Liverpool over 2.5 for 1.6 looks really good value agree, but I actually think 21/10 for the straight win is even better value. We did lose our 100% home streak already but I know the entire team want to "deserve" getting the trophy tonight.

Hard to say really, but Watford probably have it the hardest. I'll probably watch that match.
would recommend not doing this unless you literally have nothing better to do. 90% of the time watford games are completely one-sided and turn out to be a training match for their rivals causing you to wonder why the hell you spent X amount of time watching that borefest  Roll Eyes source: been there, done that

Man Utd vs West Ham - Should be a home win, Leicester have basically gifted United a CL spot & I don’t think they’ll decline it.

Liverpool vs Chelsea - Great season for Liverpool but they’ve got nothing to play for now. I’m not sure how motivated they’ll be so both teams to score seems likely.

And too bad the parlay Trofo and I had lost (damn you Arsenal).  We would've donated the winnings for the next season's pool and request to rename it to:  'Lord Trofo and prince tokeweed's EPL Pool Discussion Thread'.  Lawl.  Cheesy

That one would have been epic, maybe the forum still wasn't ready for us mate and fate made an intervention Smiley

That Arsenal game hurt me on so many levels. There was that bet you mentioned. I also had another high stake ticket with Arsenal on it and one more with both to score. This Villa wins also probably means that Watford will get relegated and I like them much more. Hornets always had my sympathy and their deal with Sportsbet and Bitcoin logo just made it even sweeter. Then I missed the scorer in FJ majestic 7 and our pool s pick but that one doesn't really matter since I am in the middle of the table.

Probably safe to say tokeweed is the champion of our pool for this season, congrats in advance my friend. Hope we do another pool for the new season, I will of course participate.

Thanks!

and to the surprise of no one, City won and by a big margin. Now watford have the same goal difference as Villa, and if Villa get the 3 points tonight vs. arsenal, they'll get to be above Watford  Shocked

I thought it might be a bit closer as Watford badly needed the points. They did well to hold them off for half an hour though.

Hope we do another pool for the new season, I will of course participate.

Of course. I'll be doing them every season as long as there's enough demand. Hoping we can grow them in number year by year. I'll announce the 2020/21 one once this season has finished and everyone has been paid out.

What a win for Villa , totally deserved , totally outplayed Arsenal !

Villa were the better team, but I'm gutted Arsenal didn't score to get me the correct 1-1. It was close though with that header coming back out off the inside of the post.

It’s gonna be a really interesting last round .
Who’s going down - 2 out of these ?

Bournemouth
Watford
Aston Villa

Same goal difference for pretty much for all three
All three have to go for the win

Hard to say really, but Watford probably have it the hardest. I'll probably watch that match.

You are right currently no one can predict about these teams who is going down but if we check strength then surely Watford and Bournemouth are going down and after today's performance Villa is surely deserve to stay here in Premier League for another season.

Crazy that they’re all playing away !
Personally I want Bournemouth and Watford to stay up. Also, Grealish needs to leave Villa and if they stay up , he’ll stay. He’s given a lot to Villa , but his quality deserves a quality club - sorry Villa fans .
I just check pool and shocked just Mosala was on Villa and take 3 exact points now again on second position with 4 points difference its really very brave decision by him just because of this now he is again on his spot good luck to all for rest of matches.

Shit - these matches could go anyway !
Can’t call these at the moment , it’s gonna be last minute picks I think .

In the City match I have a 0 - 4 win to City
Nice one! A step closer to the big prize (:
Big prize meaning first place? No way man! Toke secured it long ago. It's too hard even if you get few correct score and Toke do not get any points. But yes I am happy with the pick and lucky that got full three points. I did not expect that. I changed my pick few minutes before the kick off like yesterday in Wolves match. In the Wolves match it was a wrong decision coz my initial pick was 2 - 0 which was the match result eventually. But in this City match it worked surprisingly.

Right now MoSalah and I have same points for the 2nd place. Still there are 13 matches to go and anything can happen.

this time Trofo was really luck this mistake give him some good profit good luck.
Torfo always seems a lucky guy. I can tell it coz I have seen him on poker table and with me a lot of poker guys in here will agree with me.

Gutted about Wolves getting the extra goal. I was the only person who went for 1-0 as well. Really need those extra points right now.
And I was the one who had a 2 - 0 for Wolves but few minutes the kick off I changed it to 2 - 1 lol

In the City match I have a 0 - 4 win to City knowing that I may only end up getting 1.5 points. I see a crazy pick from LFC by the way. 1 - 4 for City 🤪

IDK what's happened with Sheffield after the restart. From one of the best defence in the league, now without a clean sheet. Now they will lose against Everton which is totally uninterested to win someone. Sheffield with Leicester is the worst after the break.
Teams from the middle of the table without any will to compete, ruin all predictions.  Sad

Sheffield, Leicester, Watford, yeah, the pause didn't do them any favours. I'd even say it stopped Liverpool from steamrolling the entire competition too.

Burnley's Pope will win golden gloves now I believe, if he just keeps one more clean sheet, and hope that someone ruins the party for Ederson. Alisson can only hope to win it if he doesn't let in any more but asking Pope and Ederson to both let in goals won't happen.

Shame though, as Alisson has the best record atm in terms of % (55.6) but he had those first 10(?) matches out injured.

Dean Henderson will be relishing a return to United, won't he? Or will OSG insist to keep De Gea? I hope the latter =p

Like hilarious, I'm hoping for one good result from the relegation candidates. Strangely, the odds aren't as stacked up against them as you'd normally expect tonight (Watford "only" 8/1 when United were 10/1, for example).

Gutted about Wolves getting the extra goal. I was the only person who went for 1-0 as well. Really need those extra points right now. Tough games tonight. City should thrash Watford but I'm kinda hoping they don't, or am wondering if they can pull off something miraculous and get a point or even more, so it could be a closer game at least. Arsenal should beat Villa but they are also fighting relegation and are only three points behind Watford so a win could overtake them on goal difference, especially if Watford get thrashed tonight. I think Villa are more likely to get a point but am still undecided on what to go for.
Last night was really nightmare for me as I fail to have any points and lost some good amount which give some more shock now today I have some different ideas as both team need to win matches for avoid relegation and they are capable to beat big teams so going for draw in Watford vs Manchester City and win for Aston Villa vs Arsenal is not bad at all.

Not bad, I earned some points yesterday too, today we have two matches

Watford has to win, it's risking the relegation, but the opponent is City  Roll Eyes
Watford has been very effective lately and, traditionally, these rivals play matches with a lot of goals, City is second and cannot fall a place, fully qualified for the CL, maybe will play with some reserves idk
I will risk a pick on Watford to win this one 2:1  Grin

Aston Villa is under the imperative of victory, Arsenal can easily score and concede goals lately
In the first part of the season, these rivals played a match with five goals, maybe a draw? I'm 2:2 on the pool
