Anyway, Chelsea...  They could end up out of the top 6.  What do you guys think?

They were overachieving a little until now but I still see them firmly in the top 6. Liverpool, City and Leicester are probably out of their reach. Spurs and Man Utd could maybe finish above them but I see this as a fair fight among that 3 teams for the 4th spot. Arsenal is horrible this season and I expect them to continue loosing points in most of the away games. Maybe Wolves have the strength to try to push inside top 6 but I don't think so.

Anyway, if somebody wants to bet with me that Chelsea will finish outside top 6 at the end of the season I am up for it.

We've all made fun of Solskjaer over the past few months with memes, calling him a PE teacher and whatnot, but can we give him some credit for what he did in the last three days?

This guy, in just a few days, just beat two of the best football managers of the last decade: Mourinho and Pep Guardiola...And with what is probably one of the worst Manchester United squads of the last two or three decades...incredible.

Oh, and the Citizens are 14 pts behind Liverpool. Anyone who thinks they're still league title contenders is a plain fool  Smiley

'PE teacher'.  Lolol.

I'd disagree that it's the absolute worst, but relatively, maybe (only cos of performace issues).  Overall they got a good squad.

Anyway, Chelsea...  They could end up out of the top 6.  What do you guys think?

Thanks Harko, yeah I wasn't going to celebrate even at 80th minute and as I thought City would eventually score (and 3 of us in the pool guessed 2-1 so that wasn't exactly an upset at all as it turns out!) but yeah, really happy to get my win. United are probably the worst in terms of personnel they've ever been for a while now, but if you see them at odds of 11/1, that's what I call value, especially City in its current form. Same as the 6/1 against Juventus, you just can't ignore odds like that for a team like that.

Anyway 14 points ahead of City? After 16 games? I don't like to kick opponents when they're down but even if all their regulars return in January, they're going to be dropping more points before everyone is back at max fitness. I did say I'm betting against them in EPL all December-long... this is already profitable with the Utd result, but expecting to see more and more such games.

P.S. The defending champions of Serie A, Bundesliga and EPL all suffered shock losses last night. Profitable first third of the season... but odds are no longer going to be good value from now on I think.

I have one single bet: United to win at almost 11/1. This is less about betting on United then betting against City though.

Congratulations!

I knew this could happen, literally!  The odds were absurd, and Man Utd could have annihilated them in the first half alone if not for Rashford's wastefulness.

With the recent sacking hammer going round in the  EPL, are we likely to get #PepOut campaign soon ? That'd be highly ridiculous, though!

Man. United fans need to be satisfied with the current result. But there is bitterness, this result helping Liverpool.
I think it does not matter for Utd fans coz they are not in the title race anymore. It's too late for Utd to comeback. Not possible because Liverpool is way ahead than them. City seems reallty lost their track and thier dominating attitude lately. This is not the City team few maches back in this league.

Anyway, we will have the full 2nd half. Let's see what are the surprises are waiting for us.

Ask @LFC_Bitcoin about that, he knows.  Cheesy

Lol.  Lighters and water bottles are being thrown at Fred while doing a corner kick.

Looks like United got City figured out with the counter attacking...  Very SAF like.  Wink

I have no idea why ManU play as a completely different team when they go against top opponents, this is crazy. Happy for them though Cheesy

Solkjaer's probably getting tips (indirectly) from SAF thru Mike Phelan (who was also part of SAF's staff).

Defansive catastrophic from Chelsea. They are the one to be blamed only. There are nothing left for them in this match anymore. Game is sealed by Everton. Chelsea is lacking shots in goal. They are always over doing things when they are in opponets D box.

Everton's former player and new manager Ferguson must be the happy man.

Wow - turned the football on and just realised Duncan Ferguson is caretaker manager of Everton !! Could be a very different result today !
That man has real passion and fire and if he can pass that on to his players - watch out Chelsea . Game on

It is on.
Everton are playing better. The 2 - 0 down for Arsenal proves it. I do not think Chelsea will be able to get many points from this match may be one or nothing. I the pool I had 0 - 2 for Chelsea LOL

2 - 1 and let's see where we finish this match. Still most of the 2nd half left to play.

Last edit - wife making me go for a walk !! Come on Chelsea  Smiley
Good thing. But the match is very interesting now. You will miss it of course.

Just check superbru pool no one going to take any point if match end on this result I was very surprised as no one feel Everton can win this match at home.

As anyone who knows you here on the forum would have expected from you. It's not such a terrible gamble to say the least, Man City are not world class apart form Man utd these days so what could have warranted such a ridiculous line remains unknown to me, Man Utd have played all other teams that makes the top 5 in the table and didn't lose any match, meanwhile City have lost to two(Liverpool and Wolves) of those four teams.

Totally agree -buywatress , can’t stand donkey ass defenders raising their hands looking at linesmen or referees  , they should be chasing the ball or player until the whistle blows ! A top quality attacker knows this too and studies the defenders who do it .
On another note , really struggling on the Man City v Man U match . Logic says city , but I got a funny feeling ... plenty of goals though hopefully.
Good luck all  Smiley

The +1.5 at 1.93 (Nitrogen's line) looks really good imo.  I mean United aren't really playing City 'away'.  Wink
