They will meet again I am sure of it maybe somewhere in the future. And the fans might help push another battle against these two great fighters. It's so entertaining, so exciting, and unpredictable that it boosts the idea to repeat one more time.

Adesanya still hasn't avenged his loss against Jan Błachowicz but I do believe he should savor the moment in the middleweight for now. Defend it one time and then go up another weight class again and meet that guy. But on whom he will fight in the middleweight seems to be a big question. Every fighter below Pereira already lost to him. If he finds there's no more competition there, he would probably go back to light heavyweight faster than we are expecting.

That is a common procedure in UFC that a fighter gets a six month vacation after being KOed or submitter. I really glad that modern MMA promotions follow that and dont let fighters have a new fight each month.

As to Pereiras future opponent, I doubt that this is going to be Jamahal Hill, as he probably gonna face Jiri Prochazka first (former champ, that vacated belt after shoulder injury). But definitely gonna see Pereira in light heavyweight, as people say he cuts 15-20kg to fit in middleweight. It is not just hard to cut so much, that is just dangerous.

Yes but Alex Pereira has taken a medical suspension due to the nature of that knockout putting him out cold for several minutes.
The doctors that look after those fighters have already mandated he take six months off of fighting and the UFC organization has to follow this protocol for all their fighters.

As the article describes it, Pereira will probably go for a title shot with Jamal Hill but in a different divisional weight-class.
And Adesanya will probably fight the only other fighter who has beaten him Jan Blachowicz but then moving up a weight-class Pereira will be there waiting for him and then we can have that trilogy.

It is the first thing I've thought when I saw the win made by Adensanya since he's an ambassador and with force of Drake getting also the attention in social media made his bets on this match, also garnered a lot of feedbacks and engagement. We need to see that closure match of them and that's the decider match.

Once again this thread become active again due to the recent achievement of Adesanya to reclaim his title. His arrow after he knocks out Pereira makes many basher triggered because he just tied the score with his previous TKO loss. 

Anyway, Looks like Stake is on a win win once again since Adesanya is their ambassador and Drake bet on Adesanya will surely create a buzz to other gambler on betting with Stake sportsbook. My social media feed blown up because Israel has won against Pereira. It seems that the newsfeed of mine was into Israel instead of Pereira. And another thing that has blown my feed is about Drake's bet on Israel.

We can say that it is another exposure for its own sponsor but then, that's a huge amount that he's bet on Israel and he never was wrong with those as he won millions.

He did! The madlad finally reclaimed his title against Pereira! It was spectacular I saw the fight online with my own two eyes and oh Lord must I say that was beautiful. That "playing possum" as he says it definitely paid off so well. Got nothing but respect for Izzy!

This will definitely shut the haters up and will go down as one of the most entertaining narratives in UFC history. Someone who uncharacteristically lost 3 times to the same opponent only to get up at the 4th bout and give him the knockout to end all knockouts. He definitely is worthy of this title!

Based on the historical win rating analysis, Pereira is leading from Adesanya because he is still ahead of the previous 2 wins, it is likely that a trilogy fight will be scheduled soon for PPV, if you pay attention to the other fights of the Moreno vs Figueiredo trilogy, they are not booked to fight other fighters before completing the dispute between the two , they have fought 4 times because in the first fight the result was a draw. So the trilogy fight announcement should be coming soon, likely without booking a fight against another fighter.

Why not we still have nine months this year anything can happen and there are a lot of surprises that are going to happen, Adesanya still owe Pereira two wins and this win is as spectacular as their second match in the Glory boxing where Pereira knocks Addy cold but I don't think the third match should be immediate, both of them should have one fight to other top fighters and if they can win dominantly in the top fighter in the division they can still have a trilogy.
It's bound to happen if both Addy and Alex stay in the middleweight or they can do it in the light heavyweight.

So these two are 1-1. Most definitely another one is in the works but doubt for this year.

As they said, you won't be called a real champion if you cannot defend the belt. Pereira was not able to defend his title and was defeated by Israel Adensanya in Round 2 by KO.
He said he played possum. And I do believe that's the right definition of how he won it. He showed a lot of skills today and it was damn entertaining.

Now my fear of him retiring or going up another weight is gone. He can get back that title over and over again even if it's stripped from him.

Today is the day all Adesanya fans have been waiting for.
