Hello 50$ is not the max stake you can bet to be eligible to the promotion, it's just the maximum amount that will be refund according to the conditions. So as I understand you can place a bet of 100$ if you want to bet this amount, but in case of a loss of Adesanya, you will "only" receive 50$ and it will be a half-loss bet.

That is his confidence speaking, he might come up in weight in the future but he will put on weight and do it properly rather than doing without gaining any weight. He has a solid defense near the fence but in the open he was vulnerable and a higher weight fighter have all the advantage, so it is a lesson learned and he is still the king of Middle Weight.

What needs to be noted is not how good Jans coaches prepared him and how he adapted to Adesanya, but ho badly Adesanyas coaches prepared him as he did no adaptation for Jan. Adesanya should also admit that he would have to do much more adaptation than he initially thinks in order to have success in that division and not just falsely praise Jan's toughness as that is the only thing that saved him. By doing that he is cleverly avoiding the narrative of preparation and adaptation and his shortcomings in his style that is suited for a lighter weight class.

He probably didn't expect that his best hit in the middleweight class that can knock out a guy instantly can just be absorbed by someone from a light heavyweight just Blachowicz. But he admitted Blachowicz is one tough fighter, he appreciates his counterpunch.

Israel did do an interview post fight after conceding to Jan Blachowicz released today (March 17h):

He is quite the good loser of the match but I can see him coming back for his title in his designated weight class which he should of stayed in to begin with although to me.

Israel Adesanya always liked challenges and he has done that in the past in Kick Boxing where he moved up to Heavy Weight division and had some splendid performances and he had his first loss in Kick Boxing in the Heavy Weight division. He does not care about padding his record and we should appreciate his mentality and pushing his limits.

Well, it wasn't just about stake promotions for that Adesanya fight that made me took that bet on izzy. Prior to the fight, he had an impressive unbeaten record and he was also the bookies favorite to win the fight. It was just unfortunate to see him lose. Anyway, This is the third time I've lost high profile sport events because I placed bet on the favorite. I'll explore other options in the near future. Until then, I'm still a fan of Adesanya.

Even I did the same mistake. I haven't thought about the weight class of the players. Looking upon the stunning betting feature for Israel Adesanya went for it.
