Should I invest in Steem or Steem-Dollars? As I know Steemdollar is pegged to US-Dollar. But why is it trading much higher at the moment? The chart looks in comparison to the steem-chart unnatural to me. Will the Steem-Dollar drop down to 1 $, soon? Which is a better longterm invest, STEEM oder STEEM-Dollars? Very confusing, thinking all day about it...

Ive joined steem and posted some quality post. but there is no any upvote on my posts. seems its just pump/dump same as shitcoins.
some users will crappy contents have +100-200 HQ upvotes

I`m pretty sure steem will fix such problems. (it`s still beta-version)
Have a look at google, at the beginning they had many spam on the first page, too. But now their algorythm is way better. I´m pretty sure steem will adjust the upvote-machanism, too and kick the voting-bots out. Only a matter of time... it`s still beta-version, don`t forget that.

But you also have to learn a strategy to get upvotes, it`s not easy, but possible. I`m comparing steem-blogging with online-marketing-tactics, you have to be familiar with that.

Yes, there are many groups of people upvoting themselves when there is an article posted by them. Many people are using a lot of Bots for upvoting and exactly steem will overcome all these in their live version. Beta version is always to find out bugs in the system before releasing the live version.

In love with Bitcoin!! 💓💕
Yep, I registered on steemit and posted an article about reviews for a blog bounty post. Only got 1 like and still finds it difficult to know how it works. I know it’s a social media platform but getting around it seems difficult more so that its an altcoin presently on its own exchange and some monies are made per post. Too bad got none for mine. Any one who can put me through this, I will appreciate.

Welcome to Steemit!! New people hardly get any attention here, unless they are celebrities, or have lots and lots of Steem in their wallet, or post exceptionally high quality content. Other than that ability to network with whales, members from your own community helps. But it is really really difficult. I have been there for a year, writing good articles, but got nothing much. Between you can always use paid bots like Minnowbooster, Buildawhale etc. to get some visibility, if that's what you are looking for.

If you wait for 6 weeks it might get lost in shuffle. As far as I know all registrations later than 3 weeks happened already Yesterday.

Maybe it depends on the country. I´m from Germany.

Finally got my account approved now, after waiting close to 3 weeks. Now I almost forgot what I planned to do on that site.

Haha. I guess you just want to write about something you are already interested in. Smiley

I`m still waiting, since 6 weeks. But it`s ok, because too many want to join steem. They are very busy, actually. Very good sign, that steem is gonna be huge!

Steemit voting bots are clear scam, don't use them. I was aware of that for a long time but I wanted to test it myself.
Results are here:
Spent: 20.50 SBD
Received after 7 days: 13.56 SBD, 4.04 SP
In the last time too don't lucky with bots. My result:
Spent: 37.50 SBD
Received after 7 days: 18.75, 6.27 SP
Need trying something other for promote.

I wrote this post about bots just this morning - I hope this helps

Don't post crap, don't use bots, engage in active communities (e.g. science & homesteading) and you will get real votes. If you expect to make money from memes, shitty photography or 1 paragraph blogs of what you ate for dinner you will fail.

I don't do what you say and I don't expect payment from those low things. I have high quality blog about startups but there's no real votes from people who actually have power. That actually shows us how centralized this voting power thing, you just proved my point. Wink

Engaging with communities proves the voting power is centralized? lol

Whatever, check my signature, as you can see I always have relatively good payouts and I started with only the 15 delegated steems everyone gets. Feel free to contact me by pm, if you do post high quality stuff I think I can help you Smiley

I guess that depend on the bot(s) you use...

Take a look at https://steembottracker.com/

I usually make a mix number of bots (do not put the whole value on the same bot)
You need to take in consideration that other people may use the bot and the final value is not fixed.

I have been using this site as a guide for quite a while with profit.
Usually I spend 5 SBD, and in return I receive around 5 SBD and 1.5 SP
Not that much profit... But it's something. I guess that the current state of the market does not help. I used to profit more, but now STEEM and SBD value is underrated.

I used 5 different bots and used only ones that show profit in that site. It's not helpful.
If Steem price drops down under 1 USD or something I might consider buying for SP myself, otherwise there's no way to make any profit here.
