This thread is coherent and certainly does not make sense to compare Ethereum with Bitcoin, is to ignore the history and the capacity of each one, Bitcoin did not need to prove anything, his role as a pioneer is already well completed and completed a long time, whales know that Bitcoin does not have the best technology today, but its brightness is still unique, maybe some others appear with that brightness, but surely it won't be Ethereum.
Right. We should not compare Ethereum with Bitcoin since these coins are totally different. They are both potential and established coin but they do have many differences from each other. Thus, Eth really cannot surpass BTC.
True, I totally agree with you, both coins use diffrent technology and we can´t exactly say which one is the best.

I don't understand why you compare one with the other. I compared the same blockchains to choose a coin for the purchase. And here all people just waste their time engaging in this sophistry.
You are right that BTC cannot be compared to ETH, BTC is the oldest coin and until now it has a high selling value and until now I have not seen BTC drop at a price of 0. This means that BTC cannot be compared to ETH, ETH is more appropriate if it's called altcoin the second best because the platform has a smart contract with ico.
I think investing in Bitcoin is non-sense. Because there are a lot of altcoins. They are more fast, effective, cheap and functional. I already forget about Bitcoin and focusing on others.
Yeah, BTC fame started to fade and other altcoins had made some fame like ETH and ripple. Besides BCH and BSV maybe another good choice as a crypto for it has a good market price pump sometimes. This I have been observing in the coinmarketcap.com on its market price movement.

Comparing doesn't necessarily means taking side but in your case you clearly took a stand; that bitcoin is better than ETH. Everyone here wants his coin to gain more popularity and hence increases in price so I guess you don't have to get pissed of when you see people doing that.
You can't remove those people that keeps on comparing ETH to bitcoin, vice versa.

But when I started to thought about diversifying, I see that Ethereum is still kicking. It's rank may be disregard but the devs of it are actively doing something to develop it to become a better coin.
They are direct competitors, why should I stop comparing them? For sure they were created for different purposes, but I think that Ethereum deserves to be at the first place on CMC, because it has a much bigger influence on the industry.

Well, no comparison at all will yield to nothing good in the market. Comparison makes the developers pursue more improvement to their cryptos. That's why we need comparison for better competition in the market.

In some aspects, we cannot prevent people from comaparing BTC to ETH, there is really a good thing that is accurately comparable on these two cryptos, transaction speed, fees, platform and much more.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are two different coins, I do not see any reason to compare them. Bitcoin will always be higher than Ethereum. I think everyone will agree with me.

Bitcoin and ethereum are different things, that's what many people think. but some people also consider that bitcoin and ethereum are pioneers in the digital currency system so that they cannot be separated. bitcoin is the best coin and ethereum is the best altcoin. so both of them deserve to be juxtaposed and many people also want to know which is the best between them.
I think Bitcoin is different from Altcoins and we have nothing to compare Bitcoin and Ethereum or other Atlcoins.

Yes thats true. People are always comparing the two ever since. Maybe they are comparing the two in terms of popularity but technically speaking they are very different from one another. Their value, prices, uses, market cap, and trend are very much differ from one another. One thing in common from them is that they are one of the best crypto out there by far.

I like the topic of this thread but in your body I still saw some level of comparison between ETH and BTC. Its old news that BTC is king of crypto, anyone comparing the pace setter with future outcomes shouldn't be crucified depending on the focal point of the comparison. Many blockchain architectures claiming to run higher tps and more scalable end up with network lags when congested. BTC remains king with regards market cap, ETH is also fabulous with regards it's own project aim.
