In order to clean up the ICO market from fraudulent projects, a regulatory body, such as the SEC, is needed. At the moment, the market is not controlled by anyone and, accordingly, fraud collects large funds and destroys investor confidence in the cryptocurrency market.

Many ICOs fail when they enter tokens on the market so they get very low prices, if so how can the team return prices when the market has a small volume? we see many new markets introducing bad tokens so they don't bring these tokens to high but still volume and community prices that we need to increase prices on the market.

Recently, I caught myself thinking that I had stopped studying the forum in search of new interesting ICOs. For a long time I could not understand why I lost interest in this process. As a result, I came to the conclusion that a bunch of crap projects and scammers killed my interest in new projects.
Now I invest only in those projects that have a good reputation and have long traded on good exchanges.

There's way to many ICO's that are literally trash. Idk how people invest in some of these projects. It's honestly a joke... The Bittorrent ICO would have been a good one to invest in just because of the hype behind it. If the token goes to $0 in a few months it would still be worth it because people are tripling their investment within a few days (probably not worth buying right now, but do your own research). Those type of ICO's are 1 in 1,000,000. The majority of the ICO's people are investing in are pure garbage. They have no utilitarian uses and they have weak fan-bases. I can't comprehend why people don't wait until POST ICO release, THEN analyze the platform and decide whether or not to invest. Doesn't this sound like the best logical solution? Sometimes even quality ICO's dump and you can pick some up for pennies on the dollar "fire sale".

This was a quality ICO, don't believe me? Look at the chart, strong buy action with low sell pressure and you could have picked some up for dirt cheap and doubled your money within days - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/BTCAUD
Many ICOs are called Trash, because many have tarnished the projects and then cheated customers, bounty hunters and investors, this has allowed investors to not trust ICO anymore, where their developers and equipment lend themselves to take the money away from them. people.

Now there are many alternatives, the STOs have been created which, guarantees to many investors to have more security and confidence in front of the projects, this is beneficial for all because the market capitalization increases.

I agree that there are too many ICOs that are trash. When I visit the Announcements subforum, I can't help but be taken aback by the abundance of no-name cryptocurrency projects and people contributing to these threads. Even if these projects are offering bounties, I can't help but think even the tokens they are offering likely have no value, especially in this market.

In my opinion, calling ICOs garbage is kinda unacceptable in a bull market but you can call whatever you want due to obvious reasons. ICOs don't perform good in the bear market and rewards are decreased with huge percentages.
ICO does not attract investors as the reason why many ICO projects failed. I think most of the current projects are very risky and we face many problems related to our assets. Instead of investing ICO you should choose to invest in the IEO because it will help us a lot and get the best liquidity.

Then who told you icos are not gabbage??

Even the recently ieos crowdfunding pattern is more gabbage and do I figure why ?
Because no matter what; the tokens will end up trading below Ico or ieo price

So what’s your argument about ??

Apparently, newcomers in the cryptocurrency sphere continue to invest in the garbage ICO projects. And these newbies have only recently learned about such a "promising" way of investing their money. Traders and investors involved in cryptocurrency operations for several years are unlikely to continue to invest in ICOs, knowing that their funds are likely to be 10 times cheaper.

In adverse market conditions, we see dumps of useless and fraudulent ICOs in which it is very difficult to find quality projects with an active, honest team for investing. And for this you need to carefully select projects for participation.

Bittorent wasn't a typical ICO, it was an IEO in the Binance launchpad! Binance name is enough to make a big hype for any kind of project. Therefore, BitTorrent is a known and popular name, and its token sale was offered in Binance! So, a big hype created automatically! But 80% of ICO projects are garbage, some of them are scam or shit. IEO sale is doing well right now but IEO is not safe in every exchange, you may go only in top tier exchange like Binance, Bittrex, huobi, otherwise, IEO will become garbage too.
you need to find some ways to control the creation of a new project. That is what will give real opportunities for the development of really promising projects and will attract better investors' funds to the company's ico market.

ICO is the cheapest way to raise funds. Therefore, ICO still exists today. If the ICO is deemed lacking and ICO Developers want something more so that the ICO is successful, an ICO can hold an IEO. Through cooperation with Exchangers. Which of course ICO Developers need to spend more money, to pay for the IEO place on the exchanger.

I think ICOs will still exist despite IEOs more coming. Many developers team trust on ICOs is good way because they believe on their own project. But IEOs is more interesting than ICOs these days because promising big profits when start traded in market
Of course ICO  will still be existing but if care is not taken, they will only exist and be the investors themselves because no investors would be available to participate in the ICO project, so before it becomes too late, most of these Good ICO too needs to come together and create a body that will oversee all ICO projects and get rid of all these Scam and Bad ICOs, at least creating a body doesn’t mean they are strictly under the control of government, it would just be more of like an association.

We might think this is not possible to coordinate because we have so many ICOs in different parts of the world but how is STO able to do it? STO projects are from different parts of the world too but still to be controlled by SEC. SO all genuine developers must put their difference aside and see how they can work towards perfection if they want to continue their relationship with investors.

People are intend to invest on a new project because of the hype even without proper research about the project or the product itself, they just want to make a quick profit because they believe that if they invest like other people then they can gain like them.

Truly, Enough of the ICO garbage! Most of them out there are complete rip offs and let downs giving crypto a really bad name. I have always been of the opinion that a project has to be vetted and certified okay before they are permitted to float an ICO. Unfortunately, this can only happen with regulations in place and that isn't happening any time soon.

ICOs are having hard time this year and many of them fail to reach the soft cap. Market situation is also against them, but generally investors lost faith in them as they are not producing good ROI anymore and lot out of  them are scam projects.

indeed for now in investments such as ICO or others do not use the Hype condition wrong because if we buy it when the hype fades you feel only defeat and losses that might be enough in 10-30% so to invest in ICO it is better to buy at the time of hype it just appeared so that the moment that was obtained was not wrong

It is no longer news that the ICO era is almost over. Whatever garbage anyone decides to throw in now does not matter anymore as people are already resolute to do away with the ICOs.
