There's way to many ICO's that are literally trash. Idk how people invest in some of these projects. It's honestly a joke...

Smart investors want to make a profit, so most of them will not buy tokens of a garbage project. Moreover, they are aware of scams that have a beautiful website and look good at first glance.

This was a quality ICO, don't believe me? Look at the chart, strong buy action with low sell pressure and you could have picked some up for dirt cheap and doubled your money within days - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/BTCAUD

I also like the ICOs conducted by the teams that create new crypto currency exchanges. Such projects often reach the goal if developers work hard on their software and invest in marketing.

i believe people are now learning their lesson from those icos they participated in last year.
most of them turned out either a scam or a crap one. many of them lost money.
so even if they will not stop creating and launching ico projects, small time investors in particular are not attracted in investing on them anymore.
wait for them in exchanges where you get really dirty cheap prices

There's way to many ICO's that are literally trash. Idk how people invest in some of these projects. It's honestly a joke... The Bittorrent ICO would have been a good one to invest in just because of the hype behind it. If the token goes to $0 in a few months it would still be worth it because people are tripling their investment within a few days (probably not worth buying right now, but do your own research). Those type of ICO's are 1 in 1,000,000. The majority of the ICO's people are investing in are pure garbage. They have no utilitarian uses and they have weak fan-bases. I can't comprehend why people don't wait until POST ICO release, THEN analyze the platform and decide whether or not to invest. Doesn't this sound like the best logical solution? Sometimes even quality ICO's dump and you can pick some up for pennies on the dollar "fire sale".

Basically with experiences over the few months
I have come to realize that people invest In ico just for quick profits, but cheap in pre sale
And when it lists, dump on a high
It’s  been a continuous sequence even in 2019

More and more people are getting annoyed with the icos especially due to slow and low last year, most of ico investors from last year are in massive loss and now people want to get rid of all these ico based projects and looking for better alternative and this space may well be filled by security tokens offerings or stos, where the investor becomes a shareholder, part owner and is able to receive profits generating by the project, i think sto model is both more suitable and attractive for investors and next trend seems to be the sto.

To the long term investors - yes. Today we have a lot of traders in crypto and they are not interested in long term and in project. They are interested in quick money.

I agree, I think an STO model is better suited for retail investors in this space. You're investing into something that isn't just an "idea".

They are investing in those garbage icos because they are trying to do what you are describing, they are not interested in the project behind it, the only thing they care is about the possibility of getting profits and about the hype that a coin has and nothing more, the developers of icos have realized that and they understand that they do not really need to create anything to make millions of dollars, the only thing they need to do is to create a marketing campaign and to get people excited about what they are doing and as long as people keep investing in those kind of projects we are still going to have the same problems with icos.
