I strongly disagree with what you say, being rich is a business and a process. not people get rich because it is determined by chance. intelligence, talent, honesty and hard work are the keys to success. although destiny and fate play little role in the end of a business

Seen a lot of hardworking and intelligent guys who can barely eke out a living but they are also guys who have not worked as hard who are living in millions perhaps because they made the right decision at the right time.
There is a verse in the Holy Bible that says the same exact thing and it true in some ways.To add to it as well, sometimes, its not only chance by the willingness of the person to take certain risks and when those risks are taken,it most of the time leads to enormous wealth.

If working hard or being intelligent make one rich then Almost everybody else will be rich so I strongly agree to it that being rich is determined by opportunity and being at the right place at the right so also having the right information.

This is a very interesting study. I had come to the same conclusion based on life experience, but it is nice to see some scientific data to prove this thesis.

Talent and intelligence is just a small factor for being rich. Rich or successful people are not actually the most talented and the most intelligent people on earth but those people with a drive, with the attitude to make it happen. Chance is also a part of the factor, it sometimes makes being rick easy or hard.
Of course, they are not the most talented and intelligent, but these factors are always at a relative level, it helps them to easily maintain and increase their wealth, and exactly as you say, successful or wealthy people have more in common, more ambitious and successful, that is what they are always aiming for, they never accept life stand still and stop growing. I know about your point, chances are not always come in our life, and the chances are now born which the key to everybody become rich, it is the cryptocurrencies business, which is the sharp tools use to all people become rich. We know already that there is a lot of people becomes a rich because of bitcoin business by starting in a small capital invested. But it is not quick and easy to become rich by way crypto business, we must also adopt the total nature and the flow of crypto businesses.

Being rich and wealthy is achieved thru a good luck, a good opportunity and a good timing, example of this is like the wealth of Mr. Buffett if he didn't invest his last 300 million USD then he could not be a billionaire . So for the 80:20 rule for being rich it is 20 percent by luck and the 80 percent is trying hard.

I don't agree 100% with the assertion.
This is because , I have seen people who got richer by preparing themselves, taking deliberate actions towards their dreams ....and hit it as soon as little opportunity presents itself.

Yeah your right thier are rich people gained thier money in luck or a win a jackpot and those people are wanted to get chance. Chance that they will rich in a game. But there are people also that has talent on how to manage thier money. But that talent still need intelligence and experience. And all of those will be nothing if thwy wont do the hardwork

I don't know what to think about this. The scaling argument which says 1% of the human population shouldn't own 40% of the world's wealth due to them not having IQ's of 200,000 or talent proportional to the highly disproportionate stake of wealth they control is something that will take time for me to digest and think about. Its certainly a novel concept.
Its also very interesting that they attempted to model along lines of standard deviation and wound up with a historical 20/80 wealth distribution. I think this is something which could use more exposure and media coverage. Its not often relatively original or new perspectives like this come along and the paradigm shift which can accompany them can often take decades to be fully appreciated within a pop culture vein.

I disagree. I recognize that, yes, luck can play an important factor in our wealth, but luck will easily be beaten by values like grit, hard work, perseverance, and determination. When we limit ourselves to things like luck or chance, we are no better than gambling addicts who bet their life and their families lives on a simple roll of the dice.
Simply giving everything up to luck or chance is synonymous to giving up on life.
