Hi seals,

Yesterday in the chatbox we were discussing potential additions to the tourney schedule for the 530pm and 730pm est slots.  Someone mentioned that adding tourneys to these slots might kill the 2k chip Daily Deep.  Would that happen?  I don't know, but I think that offering tourneys at these times, which are prime timeslots for me,  would be better than offering nothing at all.

I like rebuy tourneys, which I believe swc is able to support at this time, yet none are offered.

I like bounty tourneys, which I believe swc is able to support at this time, yet none are offered.

Also, I would like to be able to straddle on the limit holdem tables.  This isn't an option at the moment.

thanks

One small annoyance that I and a few others noticed while playing a mixed game tournament. At first we thought that the type of game was not shown on the table surface like it used to be. Then one player noticed that it was, but it was covered up by the pot amount. You could see it if you looked quickly before there were any chips in the pot. Also, it does show in the title bar of the window border, but it's hard to read there and it would be nice if it was more prominently shown on the table.

I do like almost all the other changes you have made. Very nice work. Thanks.

This issue is being tracked and will be fixed shortly.

with the new update , is there any plan to add short handed jackpot sit n goes since almost every other site has these now and since it seems that sit n goes never run due to the waiting time to be filled
personally would prefer to play these since they are fast and usually easy to fill so would be nice if SWC can bring such game for bitcoin players

We have the capacity to run these, but we are going to wait until we have higher average traffic to release them.

The new tables are great and so is the lobby.  But the website could need a bit of a redesign.  Grin  Dunno...  The 8bit retro thing just isn't for poker.  Is there a reason why you guys chose that design?

We like our new design, and concentrated most of our efforts onto the software and security.

I continue playing on your site and I like it more and more. I like it when players are active in the chat, and your chat is far from being a dead one, with a new post every 2-3 seconds.

I just want to report a minor bug, although it causes no inconvenience actually. Almost every time I'm signing in to the site, I'm getting this message:

[error msg]

but after clicking "Ok" I end up being logged in to the site. Apart from that everything is smooth from my point of view.

Thank you for the report, we are now tracking this error.

We currently have a 5 hour gap in our tournament schedule for maintenance.

What tournament game and buy-in would you like to see in that time slot?

OFC tournaments?

-BttB

OFC tournaments had a bug at launch, it has since been fixed and we are testing them in our development environment. Once they are ready we will put them in the game. That time slot is good for them we think.

Also, if "smooths" aren't doable for whatever reason, that's fine. Just any NLH tournaments would be good. the Tiny Turbo was a very popular one.

Henri

We decided on a 1,000 buy in super stack to fill the gap.
SwC will grow into this schedule before adding significantly to it but we are open to changing game types and buy ins based on what the community wants.

Also popular? Adding chicken to a Caesar salad!

First off, great work on the new site!

For tournaments, I can only speak to the vampire late night time, since that's when I was usually on 1.0 and 2.0...but the Mini Smooth and Late Night Smooth were both classic favorites, and I have seen in the chat that there are a LOT of regulars, new people (and "blast from the past" players that haven't been seen for a while) that would definitely jump at the chance to play those. I think NLH tournaments in general would be popular as a starting point. 250, 500 and 1000 tournaments would definitely get players in, especially between the hours of 6pm PST and midnight PST. Going lower than that might get filled up, but perhaps if the precedent for a sort of baseline minimum for prime time tournaments is set at 250, people will adjust. Just my two cents.

Besides the need for the table requests (which I know is being worked on), just some more tourneys in general seems to be the biggest request in chat. I think if it's doable fairly soon, you will see some happy Seals! We're definitely ok with turn signals and windshield wipers having minor glitches that are being worked on, but we just want to drive the new car!

And chicken is a perfectly acceptable addition to Caesar salad.

Good luck with things going forward!

Four colored decks would be my only gripe. Looks amazing!

is there the feature to alert the chatroom  when a SNG/tourney  is trying to run? I know it was available in a previous version?

"Announce" and "request action" will make it back to the game soon. It is only 1 day into open beta. This is a long project and will take some time to bring back the features the community has been asking for, but now we are developing fast.

Site has entered a scheduled maintenance for about 30 minutes.

Game is back up

Are we able to make a new account if we already had one before?

Yes.

@SwCPoker

Are you planning on doing extensive advertising to grow the sites playerbase?

Yes.

I registered today and played in a tournament and I liked the site very much. Although I lost all-in with 3 of a Kind Kings to Flush, I liked everything about the game, the sounds, how the cards look, the background and the color of the table. The only thing I was missing was the text somewhere in the corner telling you what hand you are having at the moment. Whether you will add that or not, I think I will be playing on the site anyway, but I'd love to have that feature while playing. I don't know why many poker sites have abandoned this feature nowadays.

Thank you for the feedback. We have lots of work to do on this software.
