Does anyone know if my miners have been collected/shipped today or yesterday?

Sorry Cyper, they are bs-ing you if they said this meant it was shipped. I had the same situation. Shipping info recieved only means dhl have been informed. Tomorrow you will get the "Shipment picked up" in the morning. Then the day after it should be delivered. So prob it will arrive on the 31st

Please post any changes in WU, that is really all that matters because that is what we are paid for.

After 1hr on .98

errors would immediately start in the 20% range and average down to about 16% but with .98 I am currently at around 7% HW error and most importantly on BTCG

miner_knc   273.96 GH/s   54,336k (99.83%)

I have never seen it this high......will post more later.

wow, also just noticed that after around 115 Million submitted shares I can finally say I am official and found a BLOCK for the BTC community. I was starting to feel left out....1 less on the bucket list.

Solo mining or pool?

Would be a losing battle if I was solo mining. I started on bitminter but most of my mining has been on BTC Guild.

.98 firmware helped! hashing at 144 ghs on my mercury. low hardware errors!

Congrats ASIC-K!!  I have been hesitant to play with my firmware at all, as my miner arrived with .95 and was hashing 540gh/s in cgminer right off the bat.

Of course now I want to apply .98 but I am out of town for work (Windsor) and do not want to attempt a remote fw upgrade:(

Have to wait till the weekend... Cheers!

hey buddy! i forgot about you, we still have to do a meet up!

yeah man, .98 solved almost all problems. mercury is running at peak efficiency now, i honestly think you would get a bump in speed too.

I feel like we're in a tug-of-war between firmware updates and rising difficulty and difficulty is winning.  Sad

Difficulty is always winning. Sad  At any estimate I've seen the KNC October shipment basically made the KNC October shipment recipients in for a heap of pain, even when running under spec. Sad

My "bad" jupiter which has gone from fw 095 > 096 > 097 > 0961 > 097 > 095 ---> 098

has improved by 100GH/s at the pool.  The previous 24hr average was around 450-460GH

Currently pool reports hashing at 550GH.

.98 is 'overclocking' a small amount which was expected

check the VRM amps and you will see 5-8% more amps out  (from 40 --> 43.2, etc)

if anyone wants to run bfgminer on .98 let us know if most cores are running over 750 now

also, 8 VRM boards go up only a little, so not clear how much hashing increase unless I run bfgminer and look at everything core by core

I ran enablecores on top of FM98 and seems to have fixed WU quite a bit.

Edit: Actually over 300 here and there!

WU previously included HW errors, so a drop doesn't automatically mean worse.

Been doing some testing and still torn between 0.97 and 0.98.. need some advice.

All else aside.. I have a higher hashrate in 0.98, but WU is lower by about 250 compared to 0.97. I always believed the two to be directly correlated, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.

Which is more important in the long-term for overall earnings, hashrate or WU?

Hashrate at the pool.

.98  Have only been running it 10 Minutes, def. improvement compared to any other first 10 minutes, especially HW error rate.....temps look good.

Will report back in a few....Now I have a Saturn at its full potential. Thanks KNC and Ckolivas.....if this continues, ckolivas deserves a btc token of our appreciation.
