BCCI does have a big impact on ICC decisions, but I have no idea why some of you are automatically assuming that BCCI is discouraging different boards to stop touring Pakistan.

For example, NZ decided to not tour Pakistan because of a security threat while ECB decided to do the same for similar reasons. Blaming the BCCI without any sort of proof is silly in my opinion.
This all is mentality of subcontinent politics because here we all have just one thing common it's hate which is now developing very quickly in next generation just because of social media and some hypocrisy which is creating by few western countries and local politicians for their own sack one thing is also sure these both countries are going to end with fire because it's predicted by few well known peoples long time ago.

Recently New Zealand and England cancellation have some bad impact on cricket, but we have to face these things now because it's all going to be happened in future as well.

Yes, i am watching this match and Pakistan have won the match in the final over. I am not at all impressed by their batting performance. They should have won this match in a much easier way but poor display of batting from the top order took the match in the last over. They need to be careful in future matches otherwise they could lose one or two matches in the series.
The pitch was a bit helpful for the bowlers. As a result, Pakistan struggled to chase the target. Eventually they have won the game with some powerful hits. Bangladeshi bowlers has done well with slower delivery, but they couldn't bowl perfectly in the death overs. Bangladesh also scored much in the death overs. I was thinking that they won't be able to score above 100 runs. The top order batsman of both teams has performed badly today.

Anyone watching the T20 match between Bangladesh and Pakistan ?  Bangladesh have made only 128 runs but still they are in a winning position as Pakistan have lost four wickets at 24 runs only. What a turn around performance by Bangladesh team who were not able to perform well in the T20 world cup.

White people have security issues when it comes to playing in Pakistan but they are comfortable playing IPL during the height of pandemic, that's hypocrisy.

Exactly, and even then many international players come to Pakistan for PSL. The teams also want to visit here but BCCI indirectly stop them as they are afraid of losing their control. We have the evidence of that International players who wanted to visit in Kashmir Premier League (KPL) were threaten by the BCCI. Also teams like NZ were given fake security letters from the neighboring country.

Nothing surprising, India is too good on there home grounds but plays average cricket outside the country.
Nonsense. India have been defeating teams left and right in their home countries in recent years(Australia, England etc). They keep failing in big ICC tournaments though around the world.

I would agree. India has performed consistently in SENA conditions, and their recent tours to the other two pig-3 teams is the best example. In fact, never before India has performed this well in SENA conditions, even during the time of legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid. The only black spot is their performance in New Zealand. Still they are not able to beat New Zealand at home, although they have done this against tougher opposition such as England, Australia and South Africa.
Only in Tests (New Zealand) but that's what counts most. I think if India and NZ start playing 4 tests series then this trajectory is likely to change soon.

Like you said, as far as White ball cricket goes, in last 5 years they won plenty of matches and fair amount of white ball series, not just in kiwi's land but all around the world so Indian team is solid in all format they just need to up their game in ICC tourny.

I thought the world cup is going to be hosted by both India and Pakistan in 2023. But I think this was not meant to be. We all know that BCCI has a great effect on whatever decisions ICC takes. Maybe they had something to say here too.

Thanks for letting me know thousand times that we have security issues in Pakistan.  Smiley  The next World Cup is in 2023, you think we will continue to have security issues in 2023 too and 2050 also and even in year 3050 ?
My friend, there is no more security issues here, its just monopoly of ICC / BCCI. They can only restricts that WC matches are not held in Pakistan. We will also ensure they wont win the world cup  Cheesy
@UmedIdrees I think I have said it in this forum, all Pakistan needs to do is get top teams other than India to tour, and if they’ll successfully complete few tournaments then rest teams will follow.
However from what I currently see is player’s are not comfortable to tour to Pakistan, but if they somehow get Australia’s best player’s to come then other teams will also come and play there.

@UmedIdrees, That is what I was asking. I thought the world cup is going to be hosted by both India and Pakistan in 2023. But I think this was not meant to be. We all know that BCCI has a great effect on whatever decisions ICC takes. Maybe they had something to say here too.

Honestly, I thought the match was going to be over sooner than this because at 13 or 14 overs the match looked done and dusted. Created to the New Zealand bowlers that they took the match till the last over and if they had a specialist bowler to bowl the last over I think they could have even won the match.

Nothing surprising, India is too good on there home grounds but plays average cricket outside the country. NZ has good bowling attack but they don't have much support on slow Indian pitches. In 1st T20 the only scorers were Guptill and Chapman rest all NZ batsman failed. Its good to see India giving break to there elite players to regain there form.

New Zealand did well, but it was a close game and India sneaked through. The inability of New Zealand batsmen to score runs in the last 2-3 overs probably cost them the match. In the last 3 overs, they just made 14 runs. Normally we would expect 30-40 runs at this stage. The inexperienced Rachin Ravindra wasted a lot of balls, and neither Tim Seifert or Mitchell Santner could get the scoreboard moving. They should have ideally finished at 180-185, but ended up at 164/6. Nice bowling during the depth overs from the Indians - Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
After seeing yesterday's match I still trying to figure out what went wrong with the Indian team in the T20 world cup. They were supposed to play like this in the world cup too. This was not an easy match but the batters were able to take that kind of pressure and were able to deliver a win. Interesting would be to check whether the Indian team can consistently repeat the same performance.

It was a match that India should have won convincingly, rather than this one with two balls remaining. It was disappointing that India won the match marginally, but taking the game too deep might have been costly. It is in India's nature to make matches interesting. We still remember those unforgettable performances from Team India during the World Cup. This is how India should have played against New Zealand at the World Cup.

White people have security issues when it comes to playing in Pakistan but they are comfortable playing IPL during the height of pandemic, that's hypocrisy. I am sure if PCB can give them same financial incentives like BCCI then ECB, CA and NZ have no objection in touring Pakistan, Its all about money and monopoly of big boards.

@UmerIdrees, agreed with you. By the way I just so on the Internet that the 2023 world cup will be hosted in India entirely. But first I thought it was going to be hosted by India and Pakistan both. I have doubt that it is going to be hosted in Pakistan because of a lot of teams having security issues with Pakistan.

What I have realized after the world cup and this match today is that there shouldn't be any Matches in the dew prone regions, if there is a match in dew prone region it shouldn't be a complete night match. It's because in such circumstances toss becomes a very important factor and team batting second gets too much of an upper hand, this really spoils the fun of the game. Today's match was still reasonable as both innings were affected by dew but IPL and world cup were miserable. ICC should really see to this big issue as we are moving towards a T20 dominant cricketing world.

Toss is the main deciding factor throughout this tournament, you win the toss you win the match. ICC will learn something from this and must see conditions before deciding the venue. Dew factor is semi's can be avoided by changing the timings of the match but nothing done in this regard.

India and New Zealand have just played its 1st PayTM T20. The match was awesome between both teams. NZ batted first and scored 164 runs in 20 overs. Guptil scored 70 and Chapman scored 63 runs which really supported NZ to score more than 150 Plus.

Aswin was awesome taking two main wickets. Then yes Rohit was on fire scoring 48 followed by Surya Kumar with his 62 which really lead team march towards win. It was a tight situation in the last two overs. Lost couple of wickets but yes at last Pond has finished the game having two more balls in hand.
It was a nice game. At the beginning of the match it looked like New Zealand won't reach a score above 160. Once after the powerplay New Zealand got to score continuously even though there were partnership breaks in between. Indian batsmen played good and at the right time Suryakumar did a fantastic job. He is in his seventh T20 match and among that have scored three 50+ which is really big for an young player.
