B/W I will place my bet right after the toss, anyone winning the toss will surely win the game.
Winning toss and choosing fielding first also more important. I guess in this tournament Bangladesh and Afghanistan had chosen to bat first after winning the toss but ended up losing their matches if my memory serves be perfect. I am also in plan to bet after the toss but we need to remember that in the IPL final, CSK won the title after batting first on the same venue. So, we need to be prepared to face all kind of results as well.

Absence of Convoy might be getting them negative impact to New Zealand in my perdition. Still, bowling attack in terms of both pace and spin, I guess New Zealand is in better form than Australia in my opinion.

But I can say one thing, if New Zealand wins the game and lifts the world cup, they would prove that they are the best cricket playing nation of this era, almost winning the world cup, winning the WTC, and now lifting the World T20, I am more impressed with the captain because if you see the team isn't very experienced and in all the three tournaments team was quite different from each other and still they have proved themselves as best in all three formats.

Yes, the New Zealand is one of those teams who are constantly performing without being noticed too much. Also their team is not very much experienced but have good commitment and performance. They have won against India & England and if they won today, this would mean that they have won against all the big three teams. However, they were unable to beat the most strongest team of the tournament that is Pakistan.
I dont exactly understand why people dont rate them any time. They are the best team in ICC tournaments among all the teams but still in any ICC tournament no one considers them favorites. They are without any doubt the best team across all the formats of cricket, thanks to kane williamson very calm and composed captain for them.

That's really strange as NZ is the one team which always performs good in all major ICC tournaments though their winning percentage in the knockout matches is not that great. Maybe that's the reason they are not much popular as compare to the other teams.

It doesn't matter whether they have beaten Pakistan or not. NZ is in the final while Pakistan is back home. NZ must end this habit of losing WC finals, they have never won any major ICC tournament except ICC champions trophy in 2000. As far as today game is concerned, as everyone saying TOSS will be the key. You won toss, you won WC.

Both teams have played in 14 matches in T20s. Australia has own 9 games and the rest 5 games were own by New Zealand. Still looking into the recent matches, NZ has own 4 recent matches consecutively whereas Australia has just own 3 recent matches consecutively.

Concluding with these reports, yes its going to be really tough to predict which team is going to win as each has own 4 matches out of 5. Looking forward for the best ever match tom between both.

NZ unfortunatly has not a very good record in WC finals they were runner ups in ODI world cups held in 2015 and 2019. I am sure NZ must be looking to break this sting of losing WC finals. Interesting thing is both Australia and NZ have not won T20 WC till date, so whoever wins will win T20 WC first time.

Neither Australia nor Newzealand has won the T20 World cup so far. I remember Australi came very close to winning the T20 world cup in 2010. So, I am expecting both teams to fight hard for the cup. They both were able to beat two powerful teams in the semifinals. This time we will have a first-time winner if any of these teams wins the cup.

This is right New Zealand were not good in last two World Cup finals, but they have done good job in Test Championship and won now it's their fourth big final in last 6 years which mean they are very good in all formats.
In this final toss is going to be had very strong case the team win have most chance to win this year's final as we already watch here most teams batting second winning without any serious trouble same case happen in both semi-finals but still right now both are full of confident and good players are in good touch hopefully we will have very good and entertaining final between two arch rivals in sports.

I think it would be very unfair to say that one team is better than other, honestly speaking both the teams didn't outshine much in the group stage, they lost against their group toppers and won against the rest of the teams in average games, so no one is the favourite, but just after the toss, the team batting second will become my favourite for sure.

Both have qualified for the final which means that both have the potential to win the final. Dew factor is giving unjust benefit to team batting second. Authorities must have taken notice of this factor in advance and should have gone to change timing of the matches. Anyways, we have to play final with that. My team is New Zealand, since they haven't won any WC till date I want to see them lifting the trophy.

Although their bowling was a bit weak. New Zealand is a little forward in this way. Their batting and bowling is strong enough. However, it is not possible to predict which team will win in this match.
That must be the beauty of T20 format. Yeah, I do see this format have worked in this tournament more effectively like two equally balanced team for meeting in the final. It would be really hard for any gambler to place bets for the winner of this final. I just like to predict that New Zealand might be the winner because I feel like they got extra edge over Australia in this format.

Australia are more experienced than New Zealand in the final.
Did you mean that Australia have played more number of finals in ICC tournaments? I guess that kind of experiences got nothing to do with this T20 final Roll Eyes.

The match up between these two teams is almost same you cannot really tell that which team has the upper hand in the finals. Toss would be the important factor as we saw in whole tournament team batting second has the advantage, specially because of due that comes in the second innings.
But in finals team chasing also faces score board pressure if there is a competitive first innings total.

If both teams will look to chase in the final then who will bat first  Cheesy  ( A joke)

It would be difficult to choose a winner at this stage as both the teams are in good form and both haven't won the T20 World cup. New Zealand is the one team which have the habit for making to the semi finals and finals most times but unable to hold on to the title. This may be their chance to win it.

It's not difficult, it's impossible now. We have seen the game of both the teams. Australia has done a great job against Pakistan. Although their bowling was a bit weak. It is not compulsory that the team batting first need to set a target of more than 180 runs in the final. T20 is unpredictable, the team that plays well will always win.
The team chasing is winning the matches in this World Cup and hence the team wining the toss will have an advantage and they will always look too chase the match rather than batting first as it is difficult to understand what a safe first innings score is in this wicket. It is difficult to bat in the first innings and as the match goes to the second phase it starts to help the batsman.

Yes, both teams will look to chase in my opinion because teams are chasing really big scores really easily. And the pitch certainly is helping the batsmen later on. In the first innings, there seems to be much more swing and bounce and also some spin in the pitch but in the second half, after 3-5 overs, the pitch seems to be dead. so, I think batting second is the play here. And the team batting first has to score really big. And concede nothing while bowling.

T-20 is really unpredictable as you said, people said before tournament that england and india are favorites. India was not even able to make it to the semi finals and england were beaten by newzealand in the semis. I dont think any one predicted these teams to play in the final and that is the beauti of t-20 cricket. Hoping for a really exciting final just the the semi finals.

Even if you see odds of Pakistan v India game, Pakistan was no way near to India. Infact India was hot favorite for the tournament but beaten easily by Pakistan( the underdog) in the first game. Side batting first will definitely have edge over side batting second.
Not only T20, cricket is old funny game and can't be predicted in advance.
Well If we go according to the odds, in match india vs pakistan india were clear favorites also in match against india and newzealand india were clear favorites and in both matches India lost one sidedly. Even in both the semi finals england and pakistan were favorites in their respective matches but we know the results of both these matches.

I think it was done by India once in the tournament that they scored in excess of 200 runs in the first innings. I do not remember any other match where any team scored 200+ runs. But my wording was that a score of 170-200 could be a competitive score if scored in the final.

Also doesn't the teams playing second face the same difficulty in batting from 7 - 15 overs ?

Pakistan scored 175 runs playing first and its was close finish despite the fact that Pakistan got 5 Australian wickets. So the team batting first need to score over 180 in order to remain in the match.
What we have seen is that side batting second score most of the runs in last 5 overs, as evident from NZ/Eng and Pak/Aus semifinals.

Pakistan would have easily won the match if Marcus Stoinis along with Wade had not put on 81 runs in just 6.3 overs. The target put on by Pakistan was not that bad and to an extent, they were in control of the match until Stoinis came in. Pakistan was able to beat some of the good teams in the tournament but they were not able to stop Australia. It is not compulsory that the team batting first need to set a target of more than 180 runs in the final. T20 is unpredictable, the team that plays well will always win.
