Our team looks strong but considering our recent records in the ICC tournament, i doubt if we are going to win the finals after all we are new chokers ladies lol
The team looks really strong but Shikhar Dhawan who looked good missed out and Sanju Samson missed the squad and it was obvious because he was not consistent whenever he got the opportunity. Since the match is taking place in UAE we can expect two spinners in the team, Ravindra Jadeja will be the one spinners but Axar Patel and Ashwin will fill the second slot and Varun Chakravarthy is the other spinner and i am not sure whether he will get a spot.

When it comes to fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a sure shot and Mohammad Shami will be the third bowler and the selection depends upon the ground in which they are playing.

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
Tomorrow Bangladesh will play the last match of the series against New Zealand. Bangladesh has already won the series. The senior players of the Bangladesh team may not perform in the next match. New players will be given a chance in this match. The kind of pitch that Bangladesh has created, it is not possible to predict which team will perform well on this pitch. My idea is that Bangladesh will win the last match as a home team.

Maybe Mozambique is a weak team. But I didn't think any team could perform so badly. Mozambique lost all their wickets for just 17 runs. Only 17! Did any team lose all their wickets for less than that? Or is it the lowest? However, Rwanda Woman won the match without losing a wicket.

I don't know about the records in women's game. But my country once won an ODI matches with 298 balls to spare (out of 300). This match was played in 2006, during the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Trophy. Myanmar batted first and made a total of 10 in 12.1 overs. Nepal chased down the required total in 0.2 overs. But Myanmar made a lot of improvement since then. The national cricket team took part in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games, and managed a victory against Indonesia (although they lost the three other matches - versus Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand).

I was checking the schedule of the cricket match held today. The Mozambique Women vs Rwanda Women match of ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier is being held at the moment. The funny thing is that Mozambique Women collected only 11 runs and lost 6 wickets. 8 out of 11 runs scored by Mozambique Women has been extra. Although this is the first time I see the names of these two teams.

Edit : Any other wicket. Mozambique Women's score is 11/7

Mozambique is a very weak team, when compared to established teams like Kenya and Namibia. A total of 11 teams are taking part in the Africa qualifiers (including Zimbabwe), and I am glad that the African teams are all fielding 100% native players unlike the case with Europe and Americas. Only one team will progress to the next stage (2022 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier), and the top 2 teams from that tournament will qualify for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. I would have liked a few more slots, but the ICC is not much interested in growing the game.

I am not sure by which standard you view things, if you are not aware of it in 2019 Dhoni scored 600 runs at an average of 60 in ODI and you think he was not in form  Roll Eyes. In T20 he averaged 43.33 in 2019 but he just played 5 matches. In the IPL i saw his swinging hard and scoring his patented six in this years IPL and in the last one even though they had a dismal performance as a team and how can you say he was not in form.

Dhoni for sure averaged 43.33 in 2019. But his strike rate was a dismal 116. When you bat down the order, the expectation is to have a strike rate of 160-170. 116 is pathetic, especially while playing in Indian conditions. And remember IPL 2020? There were occasions when CSK lost the matches due to his slow batting. One innings that come to my mind was the match against Australia at Visakhapatnam. Dhoni made 29 not out from 37 balls. India were 80/3 after 10 overs, but made only 126/7 in 20 overs (India lost the match, obviously).

Dhoni is the only Indian captain who has won the T20 world cup and adding him as a mentor will always help the team. I do not think this move by BCCI was to satisfy Dhoni's fans. I also feel that his playing time is over and now he should consider doing such activities for the next generation. The team looks good on paper but how well they perform on the field that matters.
India only won once, so it is understandable that Dhoni is the only captain that won all the major tournaments for India. If it is not a move by BCCI to satisfy the fans of Dhoni, do you think he needs any money as he is well settled in life and he is still playing in the IPL. BCCI might have offered him VIP treatment just to be a part of the team and not in the playing eleven  Cheesy.

Dhoni didn't got a proper retirement? The BCCI didn't dropped him from the team despite his poor form and that is enough I guess. He was too senior to be kept out of the playing XI and he was not performing either. The selectors were in a sort of dilemma with what to do with him. On top of that, his presence was also causing internal issues, as the team was split in to two opposing sides (one each led by Dhoni and Kohli). The last time Dhoni scored a ODI hundred was in 2017, but the BCCI persisted with him till 2019.

I feel you guys believe everything the media writes, because Dhoni and Kohli shared a special relationship and that’s a key reason why Dhoni has been asked to come on board as a mentor. Also if BCCI wanted to satisfy his fans then they would have done it a long time ago by arranging a farewell match for him, and now I strongly feel that this was Kohli’s idea, because he knows Ms Dhoni’s presence will definitely help the Indian team.

Did the BCCI included Dhoni to satisfy his fan following, not sure what he is going to do as i am hearing this for the first time someone who did not get a proper retirement because of situations beyond anyone's control getting appointed as a mentor. I would have liked to see him play one match and then make his retirement and allow the youngsters to continue because i consider him as the best captain during his time.

First ever series win against New Zealand for Bangladesh in T20Is. I congratulate BAN for winning the series and I think Mahmudullah was superb with his batting and the great finish at the end. Many criticizing BCB here remember the insufficient preparation for the world cup, due to the slow turning pitches. That's true. The conditions and pitch always favor the host country. It's better to stop passing lame excuses when the pitch is the same for both teams.

Congratulations to them for winning the Bangladesh series. But I’m not happy watching this series. Firstly it is New Zealand’s second-tier team. And secondly, the pitches of Bangladesh are disgusting. Such a bad pitch should not have been made. Because the T20 World Cup will be held in a few days. So Bangladesh needs to make a world-class pitch in these matches.

Dhoni's inclusion as the mentor will be helpful. But I don't know how the other senior players (Kohli, Rohit, Hardik.etc) would react to that. That said, there are no big surprises here. They have gone for the tried and tested. I would have liked Shreyas Iyer included in the main squad (not as reserve), but I guess he hasn't recovered completely from the injury. Glad for Ishan Kishan. He deserved a spot in the squad (but still getting in to the final XI will be difficult). Lot of competition for the middle order - SKY, Kishan, Pant, Hardik, Jadeja.etc.

Yeah, Bangladesh won the match and the series too. It was a low scoring match, but competitive. Making the runs was tough in that field. Captain Mahmudullah batted with responsibility. He made it possible to win the match. Nasum & Mustafizur bowled nicely today. Bangladesh team playing well in their home condition. I'm wondering how people will take it, If they can't perform in the same way in upcoming T20 world cup. The pitch and filed condition won't be same in world cup venue.

While making 96 runs, Bangladesh took 19.1 overs and lost 4 wickets. Just shows how bad the pitch was. New Zealand should not feel disheartened. The pitch was not of international quality and in all probability the ICC will be looking in to this. Some of the younger NZ players performed really well. William Young made a total of 93 runs in 4 matches so far, in some of the most difficult conditions. However, other promising youngsters failed completely in this series (Rachin Ravindra, Finn Allen.etc).
Its really true that the youngsters has failed to prove them because of this bad pitch .There is nothing here except the spin bowling with the turn. Bangladesh are feeling that they are having some confidence with this series but i think this will not help them in the world cup .They will face completely a different pitch hopefully where batsman will get advantage to make game enjoyable to the whole world .T-20 is a power hitting game where actually we wanna see batsman will hit strongly and a fighting game but here happening something different .However Bangladesh are making history with these series .Hope the next match will be something different from all these past .

In Search of Incredible
Will Young has tried to defend but other players aren’t able to. If someone could assist him, things could be different. I have my bet on Bangladesh to win and will possibly bet on Bangladesh to score 30+ on the power play. Seems Bangladesh will win but will not be that easy.
