The only chance for Bangladesh to win against New Zealand and their inexperience was to use their spinners effectively and if the team management and their captain miscalculated and did not play to their strengths then you should not expect any other result. You are absolutely right because they already won the series, and now they are playing just for formality if someone going with Bangladesh it's really his own fault mostly this happens teams give rest star players after winning series for giving some opportunity to youngsters even Bangladesh won series but still they need some good work for better results.

I never like and appreciate the resting of key players for a supposed dad rubber match because it simply kills the momentum of the team as a whole. I understand the players need to be rotated to test the bench strength but sometimes testing the bench strength too much leads to a situation how Sri Lankan cricket is right now.

Losing and winning becomes a habit just like the Australian team of the 2000s and you would see almost the identical team playing from them in every match because when you win together, you develop confidence and this game is more about the mentality and form than about the technique. On his day, even a certain Chris gayle can struggle to hit boundaries because of form while a new player can find the boundary because of his recent form.

Despite winning the series 3-2, Bangladesh's performance scale was too low. Not to forget that Bangladesh just beat a second string BlackCaps team.

I agree with you. Maybe Bangladesh has won this series. But their performance was not that much good. The series against Australia was much better for them than that. Despite being New Zealand's second-tier team, they played well enough. Especially the performance of the second match and today's match surprised me.

@Swordsoffreedom dude, I think we can see a miracle today. Bangladesh scored 109 runs in 16 overs. I am surprised to see Afif and Captain Mahmudullah's responsible batting. Afif is unbeaten on 42 runs on only 25 balls. Bangladesh needs 54 runs from 24 balls to win. If luck helps, they will win.

Australia and England are very strong as far as women's game is considered, because the cricket boards (CA and ECB) have invested heavily in to the women's game. England has both the franchise T20 tournament at county level and Hundred trophy for women, while the Australians have BBL. On the other hand, the BCCI has refused to start WIPL, because they believe that it will have a negative impact on the popularity of the IPL. Under such a scenario, I guess Australia and England would continue to dominate the women's game.
