RCB won the match by 38 runs and retain their 1st position on the points table, its very surprising to see Maxwell is scoring like this. Roll Eyes Cheesy

KKR have talents but it looks like inexperienced team that is why they aren't making enough runs in the middle order or not playing according to the game, RCB's curse was removed I guess. Smiley
Until now RCB the most balanced team of this year, hopefully won't repeat the same story. Anyway, I truly wonders the way Maxwell is batting. All credit goes to Glenn Maxwell and Ab de Villiers excellent innings and then bowlers bowled really well too. But, KKR not using their batting department properly. They must improve in the upcoming matches.

This season the performance from KKR isn't to the expected level. Every match is getting hard and the early wins are the one that give hand at the final levels of getting into the playoff. RCB from the beginning seems to be dominant with its players having some form of fullest game. If one isn't performing well the next one takes responsibility. Even in today's innings after the early wickets the middle order made a good partnership and took the score to 204. Such a game should be followed by KKR.

Everything depends on the performance of the key players. For the KKR, the middle order has failed so far. Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell failed to get the runs (although Russell seems to be in good form in this match). Also, their pace bowlers are not taking wickets when they need them. On the other hand, almost all the key players are performing for the RCB - including Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Kyle Jamieson, Glenn Maxwell, Harshal Patel.etc.

The Kolkata team is not able to return to form. They have lost 2 out of 3 matches. And in today's match, they lost by 38 runs against RCB. Every bowler in Kolkata has given a lot of runs today. And even the top order batsmen did not perform well. Morgan has to be responsible as a captain.

So looks as if RCB will have another easy victory today? They had the best start to this edition of the IPL, while some of the more fancied teams such as the Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders are struggling. This may be a bit premature, but I think that finally Virat Kolhi may be having a good chance to lift the IPL trophy. KKR needs another 107 runs in 8 overs, with just 6 wickets remaining. Right now, it looks like a cakewalk for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The problem is that both Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell are not in very good form with the bat right now. And more worryingly for the Kolkata Knight Riders, two of their in form batsmen (Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi) just threw away their wickets. Right now Morgan and Nitish Rana are striking the ball really hard and if KKR want to win this match, then these two need to build a decent partnership and stay there for 10+ overs.
Yeah, just now Dinesh Karthik came in after Nitish Rana also threw away his wicket. Chennai pitch is something special which kills the sprit of T20 matches. I mean we want high scoring matches to enjoy the day but 2nd batting side is simply suffering even they are chasing low scores (but today is different case thanks to Maxwell and ABD).

I guess today RCB is going to win their first ever 3rd consecutive victory on the history of IPL. I mean they never got 3 consecutive winning streaks and if they win today that will become possible on this 14th edition of IPL. Let's watch how KKR batsmen taking match from here.

The tempo of the match changed upside down and it looks like RCB got the well balanced team they were looking for a very long time as i did not expect them to score above 200 runs in this match but Glenn Maxwell  and AB de Villiers made that possible and it is going to be a tricky chase for KKR and i still think RCB will win this match unless Andre Russell or Eoin Morgan comes out with an outstanding performance.

What is happening with RCB they lost two quick wickets? As usual, the Indian captain Kohli has consistently proved he cannot bat in IPL. That was a very lame shot to lose his wicket. I am getting a feeling that this match would be won by KKR by the way RCB is batting now. If Maxwell goes on for a rampage then it will be a different story.

Forget Kohli and look at Maxwell, he's going mental. Punjab and Pretty Zinta must be looking at him and cursing real bad. He didn't hit a single six or fifty for them in the last 2-3 years and after leaving the franchise he's hitting 6s and 50s in almost every game.

That's true. When RCB went for Maxwell after spending such a big amount in the auctions, I was really surprised. But in the end, that money can be described as well spent. That said, it was de Villiers who went mental in the end. He scored 76 from just 34 balls (Maxwell got his 78 from 49 balls). I was expecting 170-180, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore ended up with a total of 204. The last 5 overs went for 70 runs.

Second wicket also gone now, spin bowling is working for MI now but two straight wickets from spinners still MI chooses Pollard for the next over.SRH just needs 79 from 63 balls so all they need to do is to play according to the required run rate so few big shots in the death overs can win this match for them.

For MI to win, they'll need to do extremely tight fielding but when Warner is still on the crease, I don't think it's going to be any easy for MI to handle him and there are still more batsmen available in SRH who can help chase the score quite easy. Wink The run-ball difference is not that big and I think SRH will easily win this game today.
The easy winning is getting hard with the fall of top order wickets. The unwanted run out of Warner can serve as a turning in the match. Though the required run rate is quite low, wicket fall has begun. In terms of scoring both Mumbai Indians and Sun Risers Hyderabad are almost same at the moment. The match pattern looks same as the previous match MI vs SRH.

Yes mate the SRH did the same mistake has done last match, I thought SRH will going to finish the match within 16 or 17 over because they got very well start from the openers, were left need only 66 in the last nine over with 8 wickets in hand but I not believe how can they loss the Match.

Yes, the Pakistan team had a great tour of SA and lets now hope they can continue on with the winning form as they should against Zimbabwe but in the past we have seen the Pakistan team come off a good series win to then play poorly in the next series. Zimbabwe shouldn't really be a challenge for Pakistan but that's as long as Pakistan continue to play well and not drop off thinking that Zimbabwe will be a walk over.

I don't understand the point in allowing Zimbabwe to play test matches against stronger teams. If the PCB want to help the Zimbabweans, then they should have limited the number of matches to just one. There are other deserving teams out there. Afghanistan and Ireland have hardly played any test matches after they received the test status. Then why this largesse towards Zimbabwe? And from what I have seen, their quality has deteriorated further and they have no chance against teams such as Pakistan.

After successful completion of the South Africa series, Pakistan team will be headed to Zimbabwe to play 3 t20 and 2 tests matches.
Complete schedule below :-

I would like to congratulate the PAK team for playing brilliantly in the SA series. They surely have potential and Babar Azam is the star of the PAK team, very impressive batting. I expected them to win all 4 T20 matches but it is okay they should easily win all the matches in the forthcoming series with Zimbabwe.

Once again the match turned to another side after 16th over especially all the matches in Chennai be like that. Tomorrow we have doubleheader at Chennai and Mumbai so perfect treat for Sunday but everyday is Holiday anyway. Cheesy

Loss of SRH could clearly be seen after they were losing wickets one after another, but all out? It was completely unexpected on their side considering Bhuvaneshwar Kumar who always gave surprises but today it was a shocking one. Yeah, everyday is a holiday though and tomorrow will be huge as for the 2 treats we'll be getting.

SRH should bring someone in their middle order to bat for long time, ...

Lol, middle order? After watching today's match, I believe there are just 2 IPL level batsmen in SRH team, and they are Warner and Bairstow only. None of those other players are worth it.  Undecided

Exactly the same I was going to say. Warner's run-out is total bullshit as there was literally no need for that run while the ball didn't get hit too hard by the batsmen. Now the run-rate on the batting side is slowed down by bowlers and now it's not going to be so easy as I was iterating before.

SRH should bring someone in their middle order to bat for long time, what is the status of Kane Williamson, is there any chance that he will join?

I don't think Pakistan played brilliantly but still they managed to win the series. Pakistan needs to play better if they want to beat more stronger teams like Australia or India. Anyways lets see how will they perform against Zimbabwe in few days.
Pakistan have won three matches batting second, and South Africa have won the single match batting second. Babar Azam had emerged good throughout the series, and particularly on the last two T20s. There is brilliant cricketing in my view, because the home ground advantage is for South Africa. Pakistan have overcome and had recorded the win.

If you analyze the matches, you will see that it was the captain Babar Azam captain innings twice which make them won almost two matches. The batting line up for the Pakistani team need considerable improvement. Also consider the fact the few South Africa team members left for IPL and they were not playing with their full strength.
Ok man I understand. I just had a overview and mentioned it. As the first and third match were good chase I made the statement of Pakistan being strong. As the full strength of South Africa isn't available, this isn't a big win. Thats clear, Babar Azam had led the match to win in two matches. There is no combined progress in Pakistan team.

Mumbai Indians have the best bowling combinations in Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult and they can defend any totals, i was expecting SRH to win the match at one point as they had the wickets but then Mumbai Indians were able to pick the rest of the wickets in quick succession which shows the experience in the bowlers who are confident to win the matches from any situation.
