What a match in PSL Multan vs Karachi . Match is tied and we are going to see super over, Looks like we are in super over season fitst in the IPL where we saw a lot of super over and now in PSL starts with Super over.
A good target of 13 runs by Kings against poor bowling of Sohail Tanvir now time for Sultans to give smooth reply or have their seat for second qualifier because I am feeling Kings done good for reaching in final.
Finally Karachi Kings won by super over in PSL, however both teams played excellently but Karachi Kings deserves to win this match.
Tanvir the hero of this match became zero in the super over. Karachi believed on Amir, and in return he bowled brilliantly in the super over.
I am really feeling bad for Multan as they done good job in early matches but today they was also not bad at all but in Super Over they lost due to some poor bowling from Sohail Tanvir and very good batting display from Ratherford Amir also done good job for Karachi in Super Over as conceed only singles nothing special from Bopara and Rossouw.

Good to see the team of Dean jones reached the final of PSL T20. Although i do not have much interest in the match and i am following it on cricinfo but i wish that Karachi kings could win this T20 PSL 2020 for the late Dean Jones  Sad  If he was there, you could feel how much he would have been happy seeing his team reaching the final for the first time.

No one would argue against Delhi Capitals having their best season in the history of IPL but the second eliminator was a good match but then when it came to the final they lost it completely the moment they won the toss in the final and electing to bat and then went on to loose early wickets and MI dominating the match from the start and then when MI was batting the DC bowlers failed to picked early wickets and where does the competitive aspect comes into play Grin.

This is one of the reasons why the franchises are sticking with experienced players, rather than going for the younger ones. Delhi Capitals do have a large number of young players, such as Iyer and Pant. But none of them have shown an ability to perform under pressure. And this goes for the younger players in the other franchises as well. In many cases, DC went on to lose matches, which they could have won.

Nonetheless, With so many young players getting to the finals was a big achievement for the Delhi Capitals, as they made it for the first time. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians had the experience of playing the big finals. So, they are the worthy winners.
Delhi Capitals brings up lots of young players compared to the other team in this season, I supported Delhi capitals because of Pant, Iyer. But DC make's me little disappointed, indeed they have quality to grab the IPL title. A year ago third position and this season second position and next season hope trophy for DC.

PSL will resume from tomorrow. Multan Sultans will take on Karachi Kings in the first qualifier in Karachi. Multan sultan will miss James Vince as he is covid-19 positive. Although there is no hype for the PSL resuming but i am sure after the first match, the interest will built up.
Have to figure out how to watch the matches, if it is interesting it would attain the hype.

PSL always attract the attraction of the cricket lovers as after IPL, this is the most demanded T20 tournament. All the tournament was played early in this year before the pandemic and  only the plays were left when authorities have to pause the tournament because of increasing pandemic situation world wide.

It will be on air on all the sports channel in Paksitan. Also you can watch it live on Cricketgateway.com. Also it will be live broadcast at the Eurosport streaming platforms like Airtel Xtreme and Jio tv.

In the end of DC's innings, they have scored 157 runs. I think DC is in safe zone now. They lost early wickets, they lost Stoinis, Dhawan and Rahane in 4 overs. I don't think anyone thought that Delhi capital would be able to target so many runs. Thanks to Lyre and Pant. Their great partnership has brought such a large collection to DC.

There are many good batsmen in the MI's squad. Such as de kock, Rohit Sharma, Pollard and Pandya. They all played terribly well in the t20 format. Let's see who wins the title this time.  Cool

Well, I don't think that 157 was a good score to defend when your opponent have got players like Rohit Sharma. Everybody knows what he can do. So I believe Delhi Capitals needed more than 170 runs.. may be 180 to defend against strong team Like Mumbai Indians. Everybody expected much tougher competition in the finals, but that wasn't the case. MI easily won the match and lift the title for the 5th time.

After losing early wickets its still good target but not for MI because they have very strong batting line up and mostly their batsmen was in good form so they take good advantage of this and done is very easily DC is good team but they have bad day and lost this final but now they have some good time for next season and they can do some more good because now they have unit of talented players just need to bring them back and give some more intention most chances they will able to give good fight in next season as well or can win if they have good days.

I would not consider the finals one-sided. Though Delhi lost all it's matches with Mumbai, Mumbai was not undefeated in the league. And the final was itself a competitive one as Delhi took even the smaller target for Mumbai to last 10 balls. And statistically, it was a good league for Delhi as they reached the finals for the first time

The match was finished in 18.4 overs which is considered as a one sided match in T20 format. You may call this margin a good one in ODI but in the T20 format you expect the matches to go to the last ball/over.

Although the tournament ended few days ago but it will always be remembered as this was played in the year 2020 without crowds because of pandemic.
No one will forget this year irrespective of whether you are a sports fan or not, my life is completely changed and i am financially restricted because of the pandemic and to get rid of the stress we needed some sort of entertainment and UFC resumed without fans and was providing that and then Soccer resumed without crowds and the IPL for all the cricket fans.

DC played great at the start of the season. They got some great wins. I don't know what happened to them at the end of the season. After the performance of the whole team broke down a lot. But they played really great against SRH. If they hadn't lost early wickets in the final, I think the final would have been competitive.

DC was one of my favorite teams, because they had the largest contingent of young Indian players, in Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant. But they were unable to maintain the momentum. And in more than one occasion, they lost matches which they could have easily won. I would still say that they were unable to win the tournament, because the players cared more about their individual records.
No doubt DC is a team of young players but they have shown in this season that they are very inconsistent. About Prithvi Shaw I do not understand why he is part of a T20 team. He is not a guy who can start hitting the ball from the first ball itself he needs time to settle. In my opinion he is one day and more of a test player.

Mumbai Indian were very strong team in this season and they deserve the title.  They won the title 5 times which is very big achievement. When you have Trent Boult and Bumrah in your team, its not easy to beat them. The only thing which was disappointing about the final was that it was a one sided match.
I will say the same thing. The match was completely one-sided. I would be happy if RCB or SRH could play the final against MI [SRH won by a huge margin of 10 wickets against MI, and RCB won by a huge target of 201 runs]. Then maybe the match would have been more competitive. We didn’t have to enjoy a one-sided final match.
We have history of one sided finals in cricket specially in ICC events like 1999 World Cup final and many other finals like this so its can happen in any event because some teams cannot handle pressure and lost very badly due to many factors so same happen in this final as DC was first time in final and they lost very quickly few wickets which hurt their cause in this match and we have one sided final.

If you watch DC's 3 matches against MI,  you will see that DC has lost 3 matches in a very bad way. MI is the only team in this IPL who are very stable and each player has done their respective responsibilities properly. The rhythm of all the other teams has fallen. Some matches played well, some matches played very badly. When playing against a strong team like MI, DC's players should have focused more on their own performance.
The difference was the quality in the MI bowling line up, i just came to know that Trent Boult was let go by DC and trade him with MI and that came back as a harsh decision as he troubled them the most along with Jasprit Bumrah and when you have two world class bowlers in top form bowling at tandem no team would score freely without taking the risk and that would lead to wickets.

If you take the final match, DC was able to stablize and build a fourth wicket partnership because Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult finished their spell and i still believe that if the captain would have continued with them the situation would have worsened.
